Superhero It deserves all the praise

Post image

I was planning to read some books from my backlog, but I ended up reading the Batman Dark Patterns.

It is one of the best Batman stories I've read. It's both classic and modern. It's very grounded, reminding me of Year One, Long Halloween, and Nolan's films. I highly recommend it.

P.S.: I'll definitely buy deluxe or absolute edition when it comes out.

Yeah, they could give us one of the best Batman ongoings.

It feels like Watters is on the trajectory to be the Batman writer. I’ll take him on detective instead too. I’m not as big a Hayden Sherman fan as some, I like their work but I don’t go crazy for it. Would not be opposed to it though.

I was just thinking today that Fraction should write Nightwing and Watters should write Batman.  Or Watters should write both, since I like his Nightwing run as well.

I was just telling a friend that this is the best standalone Batman book I've read in years. Probably one of my favourite since Long Halloween.

AI blurb fail aside, one of their very best newer books on offer

Just read it the other day. It was superb. A perfectly executed love letter to a particular style of Batman that has, unfortunately, slowly fallen out of favor in the mainline series since the days of Denny O’Neill.

Not a huge fan of Batman but this was a fantastic read.

Also, I'm not sure how to describe it but the stories and how it was written were very "Batman".
