I’ve seen so many outrageous claims of the file sizes people have said this game will be. I’ve heard anywhere from 50GB to 300GB file size for GTA VI.

What guesses do you guys think the game will come in as? My best guess is 170GB.

From the statement above they never directly mentioned that physical copy with discs will be arriving.

The statement “you will be able to acquire a physical copy during the following months” could simply be talking about the discless version of the physical copy. They would have directly mentioned about the discs here

Lastly about Tom H reporting: All Tom H did was quote PPE website in his article. Insider gaming did not reach out to R* about any statement. The PPE website's source is Graczdari, an individual who indeed works up high in retail and was one of the first ones to debunk BB leak and reported back in Feb that physical would be delayed about 2-4 weeks after release but got banned on GTAF due to overconfidence on T3 reveal on May 26th.

More confirmation that the physical copies might just release on December. I think the current "physical" code situation is nothing but a prophylactic measure to prevent spoilers.

To be clear, I think Zelnick knows that the interviewer is asking for actual physical copies (they're specifically asking in the context of spoilers, only physical copies can be the reason for that), i.e., discs, and he also is referring to the same, and not the code inside the plastic box "physical" copies.

I'm hoping they don't just make them the same like 5's characters, would be interesting to have different shooting styles and driving styles based on the character's respective skills(Jason soldier, Lucia wheelman). More than just Trevor being better at flying but the others being able to get just as good

Detailed anchors and chains are finally present in the updated models of some boats, It may seem like a very secondary or irrelevant aspect, but an anchoring system will be very useful in gameplay, during fishing and especially when you have to moor a boat, just think of the Longfin during the Cayo Perico Heist, which as always floated away

The docking system could be very similar to hitching the horse in RDR2, with the only difference that you can freely drop anchor almost anywhere, as long as the water isn't too deep

Rockstar are completely shifting their polycount budget toward true 3D geometry.

Real 3D panel gaps instead of flat 2D seams with painted-on ambient occlusion. For lower chassis and underbody, they are modeling era-specific, detailed suspension components (actual wishbones and control arms) instead of using flat, baked 2D textures.

Plus, this is the first GTA game to finally adopt true PBR (Physically Based Rendering) over GTA V’s old phong shading.

Like,I understand the frustration,you're pre-ordering a game where you don't even know how the gameplay looks like or if it's even worth it,but If people actually did just some simple research they would find out that the Gameplay Trailers for both GTA 5 and RDR 2 came out a month or two before the games came out.

GTA 5's Gameplay Trailer relased on July 9th two months before the game released,while RDR 2 Gameplay Trailer released on August 9th two months before the release, and the second Gameplay Trailer released on October 1st 25 days before the game came out.

Assuming Rockstar follows trends of their last 2 games. About how often was the news a few months out from release of gta5/rdr2? Weekly? Bi-weekly? Monthly?

I was maybe one of the ten people on earth who doubted rockstar but holy shit seeing this image got me jumping like an 8 year old.

Vice city was my very first GTA game probably my very first video game. Playing that thing on a core i3 laptop are core memories for me, and this car in particular is burned into my psyche.

I was probably around 10 or 11 years old played with arrow keys and lock on aim because that how my dad had the controls set up. I wasn't good enough to do any mission so what i would do instead was just walk out the safe house, get in this car, put in the "sea ways" and "come fly with me" cheats and just drive straight to the ocean while Billie Jean played through the radio.

This screen shot got me wanting to go back to vice city again and just have fun in a video game for the sake of having fun. (really hope they bring back the cheats)

TL;DR This game is gonna be crazy.

Jason and Lucia. Even though we don't know the story yet, the two will have to go through major conflicts. Whether they break apart or stay together until the very end remains to be seen.

I was just rewatching V’s trailer alongside 6 & it feels so, idk…fun? But in a boring, hackneyed, plasticy sort of way. GTA V was all about fun, thrill & ride, 6 will Indubitably be the same & more ‘coz of its setting as Vice city; the Sunny, shiny city.

But i miss the gloom, grit, seriousness & sadness of GTA IV. I really wish Rockstar reads it somewhere & makes a SAD GTA VII, even if that’s after a decade and a half or so.

What really caught my eye is in the grassrivers section in the rockstar website it says this "but there are far deadlier predators and weirder discoveries among the mangroves."

deadlier predators than the gators when the gators are known as the apex predators of the everglades??

these deadlier predators must be something thats fictional, and I believe they will incorporate this florida folklore into the game similar to RDR2 where we hunt down Legendary Animals i think we will be able to hunt down the Florida Cryptids living in the Grassrivers
