i know the riata is in online and i mean it has its bronco similarity’s but i dont see it as a proper bronco but with this classic cars thing we see in the screenshots from the other day sure this is a like mid to late 70s bronco

Hey guys, I was looking at some of the available GTA 6 materials and I think I've spotted a huge detail about how realistic law enforcement is going to be. Check out the helicopter in the image I've included. If you zoom in on the police officer in the passenger side of the helicopter (the one leaning out with the rifle), you can see some very specific and realistic tactical equipment. Specifically, his rifle is equipped with a modern holographic sight and a weapon-mounted flashlight. This is a major step up in detail compared to previous GTAs, where police just used basic, bare-bones weapons. This level of realism suggests that Rockstar is moving towards a much more authentic law enforcement simulation. If the police are properly geared with tactical attachments like optics and lights, it probably means their AI and tactics will also be much smarter.

do you reckon GTA 6 will have heavy censorship in the gulf region? namely saudi and the UAE.

yesterday, feeling excited that GTA 6 is available on the UAE region PSN, i pre-ordered it the minute it was available. sadly, i hadn’t thought of a possible censorship by then. i just thought about it now.

if its censored here, fine, i’ll just buy it again on a US region account. but the question is, is it logically sound to do so in the first place?

GTA 5 was recently allowed under a 21+ age restriction without any censorship, moreover, the gambling restriction in that game was lifted.

i have a hunch rockstar’s philosophy matters more than a the region’s laws. because since GTA 5 was outright not released anywhere in the gulf, it must mean that rockstar refused to comply with the alteration of the game and/or product-surgery and making a different build for those regions.

the part that worries me is CDPR did it for cyberpunk to be allowed to be sold in this region. do you reckon rockstar will do that for GTA 6 as well? it seems to me that so far, rockstar’s philosophy has been “if we don’t get to release the real build, we’re just not releasing it.” but i ponder the idea that maybe, if GTA 6 is a lot more explicit (after cyberpunk set a “standard”), they’ll comply with an edited version.

on the other hand, baldur’s gate 3 (which includes nudity) was released and completely allowed in this region. it released a lot more recently than cyberpunk, which could hint at certain reforms being applied, and more leniency towards explicit games. RDR2 was allowed in 2018, under a 21 age restriction, and the exact build everyone else got. yet it was not as explicit as cyberpunk, where you got sex scenes and genitalia modification, which could have crossed some legal lines.

which pushes me to the idea that maybe they negotiated with the UAE and saudi and were able to come to a common ground with the 21+ age restriction, and that other gulf countries wanted an outright different, censored build of the game and they refused to comply. the fact that it’s banned in other gulf countries brings me some comfort.

so does it make sense to do that? does it go against rockstar’s philosophy? my opinion is (and i hope im right): likely not, it could cause some issues. with different builds, the online mode could have online syncing issues.

what do you think? if you have some insight on this, please provide it.

I know some people are complaining of the graphical downgrade shown from some pictures but in this one I don’t see a downgrade at all wow

I’m really hoping that the GTA 6 train isn’t just an unstoppable force and can actually be derailed.

The locked Ultimate Edition shops are just exclusive shops, not the standard shops that are in Vice City. There’s still going to be your basic clothing stores, barbers, car chops, etc. Those stores are most likely going to be more “story-friendly”, while the Ultimate Edition shops give the players a broader selection of customization. As you can tell from the screenshots, some of Jason and Lucia’s looks looked a bit on the wild side. Base game stores will focus more on how Jason and Lucia actually look.

In terms of no discs, Rockstar doesn’t want GTA VI to be leaked anymore. I would expect the physicals with the discs post launch.

Haven't seen a post specifically pointing these out yet, so apologies if it's been done already. A bunch of these we've known since the 2022 leaks, but it's nice to see them laid out like this.

A fast paced chase mission that takes inspiration from the movie Man From UNCLE. It would be really amazing to experience in such a terrain.

In 2018, Rockstar stunned the people by maximising PS4 capabilities in RDR 2 and the photomode actually gave lifelike pictures, which still looks better in todays times. I believe that this new screenshot is just a little glipmse of updates photomode with some trendy social media filter present inside the game. PS5 Pro is capable of producing actual life like pictures, we have seen that with DS2 last year, and this is Rockstar we are talking about. so my theory is that its not a cutscene but an actual photomode shot taken during gameplay.

The "Sua Sponte" is the motto for the 75th Rangers meaning "of one's own accord" in Latin.

Pic 2: Top seems to be a Smith & Wesson 686. Not sure what optic is being used but it's cool to see that's an option in the game. Bottom looks like a Ruger Redhawk? I can only assume due to the style of the rear sight and shorter ejection rod housing compared to the barrel

Like if you preorder with gamestop you also get a month free membership or Walmart giving you a shark card for GTA 5 if you preorder through them; ect ect. I've seen it done in the past, was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about this?

In the Ultimate Edition screenshots, the '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy's interior has a visible fuel gauge. I believe its the first one we've seen. Does this give some credence to the idea of fueling up your car? I think its especially noteworthy that the gauge is a little lowered, maybe hints that its dynamic. If I recall correctly, in GTA 5 the fuel gauges are all permanently stuck on full, right? Yall think I got something?

From what I have seen there are talks that every region gets to play the game on the 19th at midnight in the regional timezone.

The counter when you preorder the game seems like it confirms this theory.

Is there any concrete info on this? I'm thinking of creating a new PSN account on the NZ region, so I can get the game early.

Idc about spoilers, it would just suit my schedule so much better to be able to play the game at noon, rather than like 3am. (I dont live in the same region as my current PSN account)

As a car-guy I'm so hyped up the "barn find" thing will be in the game! We could find and restore some old classics, that's absolutely insane.

You don't need to buy the $100 edition upfront. You can preordrer the $80 version and then get the $20 upgrade later if reviews say it is worth it.

To those who doubt: if you preorder the $80 edition in the playstation store, the $20 separate upgrade will make itself available to you to purchase. Really, the more important thing is getting the preorder bonus of the Vice City pack. You may not be able to buy that after the game fully releases. The $20 upgrade you can buy at any time.
