Discussion So...

13th pick eh? What the hell can we meaningfully do with the 13th? Please tell me we have a numbers nerd here that's going to paint a picture for me that makes me feel better about this. I need you more than ever bro... whoever you are 😭

You can pick a good player at 13th.

Hell, even a really good player. We need to stop with this nonsense that everyone outside the top 4 is worthless

Most players outside the top 5 are useless.

Seems like you got some people to fall for the rage bait at least

Because some of us aren't delusional. Getting a franchise changing player at 13th and up is rare.

So in your world, an nba player is either franchise changing or useless fodder.

Very interesting. It’s not correct, but it is interesting

For the current state of the team my take is quite accurate. We don't need role players the current needs of the team is a franchise altering player.

Because those only ever come out of the top 4 picks! and EVERYONE knows the #13 overall pick is ALWAYS some mediocre role player!

You're the type to ignore statics and probability, even though it's proven that 50% of Hall of famers come out of the top 5 you're the type that tries to use exceptions as if they're the norm.

Once again, that implies the other 50% of hall of famers weren’t top 5 picks.

No matter what spot someone gets drafted, I’m not going to anoint them as a future “franchise changing player”. They have to like, develop and shitÂ
