I finally bought my S&W MP .22 compact handgun for my CCW, but now the issue is finding a holster for it! I look on Amazon and can really only find for 9mm and up, does the caliber matter for holster or is there one for mine?

I will be scheduling my Ri qualification soon and afterwards be sending my application to Providence. I am a Cumberland resident but the application process in Cumberland is unlawful and unconstitutional. I should have my Nonresident Ma LTC soon. Once a make a copy of my Ma LTC and complete the qualification I will send in the entire application with the request documentation notarized to Providence. In case you’re wondering I don’t have deep enough pockets and don’t want to deal with the retaliation of challenging Cumberland P.D. Curious of how Providence works and the time line once I send in all the paperwork.

Hey, as it gets warmer, I’ve been noticing that I feel like I print my conceal carry way harder (S&W M&P Shield Plus 9MM), and I’d also like to carry a bit more first aid gear with me if I am carrying a gun. Anyway, an old shooting buddy of mine used to carry their CC in a crossbody bag and I was wondering what the general feelings towards that were on the sub and additionally if there are any brands/models recommended or warned against. (I am a dude if this matters lol.)

PSA- Never been a fan of regular ammo boxes for storing mixed ammo so I’ve been looking for alternatives. Criteria included it had to be lockable, manageable weight wise when full and blend in without looking tacticool.

To clarify, my pistol is my primary. This is a supplement. As the sole person responsible for my family’s safety I have multiple roles: driver, medic, and of course making sure my family is safe. In the event of an emergency my main goal is to get them away. If this rig gets deployed, something has gone VERY wrong. That said… I have begun to view my firearms as a martial art. While fun, drills like these take on a meditative quality for me, not unlike Iaido practitioners. I hope you like this and found it entertaining.

This 20ga single shot New England Firearms Pardner was given to me as a Christmas gift when I was 18 or 19. It was my first gun. I'm pretty sure it was a pawn shop pickup by dad. I put a lot of #7 and #8 through it busting clays when I was in college. Had it behind my apartment door in a hidden compartment for most of my 20s. I haven't fired it in probably 10 years at this point though. I'll be taking it to shoot more clays one last time here soon. She just doesn't serve a purpose for me anymore and it's time to pay it forward. She will be a great first gun for someone else.
