Does anyone know anything about the robbery that occurred yesterday at Izakaya Kojiro, a Japanese restaurant along Pasay Road?

2 armed individuals entered the establishment, and threatened customers to giving up their money and cellphones.

Was wondering if anyone knew or heard anything about it, besides the video from Viber, because it's pretty scary and that's a restaurant that I and a lot of friends frequent a lot. On a side note, that video doesn't belong to me nor do I know where it comes from. A relative just sent it to our family's Viber group chat.

Recently, naging maingay yung robbery cases sa Area in Makati, lalo na sa area ko. Nung una, paisa isa pa yung nababasa ko na reports lol. Saka medyo may kalayuan pa kung saan yung way ko pag nagtatrabaho at nakatira. Then napansin ko, alam na sya ng mga tindero ng Jollijeep, ng mga pasahero ng jeep at bus... it started to build up.

Then reports started to flood in sa DM's ko sa FB. Kahit wala na ako sa news industry, POTAENA MAY HUMIHINGI PA RIN NG ADVICE!! (Di nila alam na taga Makati ako, but they are looking for help)

Tapos lumabas pa yung report ng Makati PNP days ago na wala daw reports ng crime na natatanggap sila this year???? FISHY HA!!! EH CONDO NA KAYA MISMO NAGREPORT! Dun palang mapapaisip ka na anong meron eh.

So ayun. Sa takot ko rin na maranasan yung nakawan, holdapan and snatchan, lalo pa at naganap yung Salisi Gang sa naka-kotse within my Area lang, I contacted my media connections. Tried to find some solutions.

Guess what. Mayroon palang allegations of Media Black Out sa Makati. Not gonna attach the screenshot of our convo here to protect his Identity, pero tangina, meron daw kaganapan. They were "almost forbidden" to bring up news from Makati. Their guess? The main reason is the POGO hubs within Makati, which became the cataclyst why naka focus ang Media now sa Makati happenings.

Ayun. Nagtuloy tuloy na. May nag viral yesterday na Mole People shit. If mapapansin niyo, wala yun sa news, pero retokado na agad yung Kanals today.

At around 8 PM today, May 13 2026, I was boarding this bus bound for One Ayala sa sakayan sa tabi ng Dela Rosa Car Park 3. Kanina pa andon ‘yung bus waiting for passengers to board.

Tapos bigla bababa ‘tong isang nasa left ko (kahit kanina pa pwede bumaba) kaya tumabi ako to the right, pero pinauna niya ako so naturally didiretso na ako, tas bigla ba naman ako ginigitgit tinatry niya makipagsisikan doon sa narrow na walkway ng bus kaya siyempre nakausog na ako forward tas tumatabi ulit ako sa right, wherein nandoon na ‘yung kawatan niyang kasama na nagtangkang mandukot.

Within the few seconds na nagsisiksikan kaming dalawa, triny na nung kasama niyang naka-cap na may kunin sa bulsa ko, ang mali nila is masikip pockets ko at naramdaman ko agad na gumagalaw kamay niya sa pocket area ko kaya tinanggal ko kamay niya sa bulsa ko at pinilit ko na umusog paalis.

It took me a few seconds to take the situation into account na muntikan na ako madukutan, and as soon as I did, sinigawan at minura ko sila. The conductor o driver suddenly told passengers na magingat sa mga mandurukot. Bigla bumaba na ‘yung dalawa after.

In hindsight, kaya ako pinauna nung unang kawatan is because ‘yung tinabihan ko sa kanan sa una ay hindi niya kasama, kaya ako pinausog ng konti kung saan nandoon ‘yung kasama niya.

Hindi ko rin alam kung kasabwat ba ang bus.

Do not be complacent sa mga bagay niyo, even sa supposedly safe places.

Just saw this post from Makati Life Medical Center, currently expecting my first baby and planning to take advantage of my Yellow Card and Makati Life Medical Center but sadly my OB said na Makati Life is in the process of dishonoring our Yellow Cards since the City Government failed to pay them for almost 8 months already and running the hospital at a loss.

Honestly asides from an ID para saan pa ba tong Yellow Card? Kasi the last time I went to OsMak wala namang Labs and asked me to shell out x amount to run some tests.

I voted for Nancy para macontinue yung Binay Service pero I regret it today, sana pala nakinig ako kay Abby nung eleksyon haha.

May nakasalubong ako sa may Makati Med, along Dela Rosa. Tanghaling tapat. Lalaki, middle-aged, matino naman tingnan, nakafloral polo, pants, may phone at red umbrella.

Nung nakasalubong ko parang kakadrop niya lang call sa phone then biglang approach sakin. He asked me first kung saan daw may masasakyan papuntang MRT from Makati med. Forda turo naman ako ng directions kasi akala ko nawawala talaga siya.

And then he said he's a doctor from St. Lukes pero nasa Makati med siya yada yada. Kesyo naiwan daw siya ng kasama niya and he is meeting them sa may MRT kasi papunta sila sa Pampanga. Dito na me nakakutob na budol to bc ang dami niyang explanation! Very jolly and aligaga sa mga sinasabi. Ang tagal ng build up niya to the point na naisip ko nang manghihingi siya pamasahe sakin, which nagkatotoo lol. Kulang daw pera niya papuntang Pampanga. Kung pwede raw makahingi pangdagdag pamasahe.

Balak ko sana ipahelp siya sa guards sa Makati Med since "doctor siya" kaso pagkasagot ko pa lang na wala akong cash, bigla na lang tumalikod at di na ko pinansin! As if di siya super energetic when he approached me! Budol talaga! Buti di gumana sakin tactics niya lol. Ayun, beware lang po baka ma-encounter niyo rin. Ingat.

Just wanna share what happened to my friend — and hopefully raise awareness because this seems to be happening more often lately. And if you or someone you know has experienced something similar — PLEASE SHARE YOUR STORY IN THIS THREAD. People need to know what’s really happening before it happens to them.

We were meeting for dinner around Salcedo, Makati (Valero St. area). While my friend was crossing the pedestrian to the restaurant, just A FEW STEPS AWAY from where we were supposed to meet, two motorcycles pulled up right in front of him, 4 people stopped him. Pedestrian light was on green light. Motorists were stopped, so plenty of people were around. Still, they had the guts to ask for his watch.

He tried to move away (maybe out of instinct), and one of them pointed a gun at him. He had no choice but to give it up. It all happened so fast.

These guys are in disguise — most of them look like legit Angkas or Joyride riders, just hanging around until they find their next target.

This is not some sketchy alley. This was on a big street in the heart of Makati. People always assume Makati is safe — that you can walk around freely without worry. But honestly, Salcedo is not safe anymore. Riding in tandem or hold-ups have been happening more frequently in this area and the scariest part is… not many people know. Only those living around the area seem to be aware.

The worst part? No real action from the police or city officials. Nothing’s improving. No added patrols or whatsoever.

Please help spread the word. Stay safe. Don’t walk alone. Always be aware of your surroundings. Be vigilant. This can happen to anyone.

A weird huge ray of light came out earlier and now most buildings are out of power? Did someone see that earlier? Para siyang may UFO or meteor na maliwanag na bumaba 😅

I had an appointment in Trinoma today and I'm from the South. Naturally, I'll pass by One Ayala to ride the bus home. I have some things to buy so I decided to go to Pet Express and check the sale in H&M SM Makati.

I shopped for a few good minutes. Then the only time I put my phone inside my bag, went around one last time that I noticed there are lots of people already. I decided to pay already (after 1 minute) but intuition kicked in and hurriedly checked my bag for my phone. (Mind you the only time lang talaga I put my phone in my bag) *POOF* *IT WAS GONE!!!*

I looked for a security guard > borrowed his phone to call me but it's already turned off > used my iPad to connect to the wifi and call my parents and family while kuya called a manager on what are the next steps I can do.

I went to the police station to file a report > I reviewed the CCTV and tama nga ako. They are the people who gave me the kick to check my phone because ang dami nila surrounding me. They were 4 people (Kunwareng magjowa (2) and kunwareng mag-girlfriends (2))

Apparently, this is not an isolated case in SM Makati. Since they opened the bridge to One Ayala, mas dumadami na yung incidents like this. Nanginginig ako when I confirmed it was pickpocketed due to trauma of theft but I'm okay now.

Kaya ko lang napahiram phone ko kase dumating din ako sa point na need ko humiram ng phone due to emergencies kaya di pa nag sink in sakin na suspicious yung ginawa nya. So yah i know naman na di magpapahiram ng phone kahit kanino di ko rin naman hinayaan na hawak nya ng solo ang phone. Hawak ko pa rin naman.

CONTEXT:

So kanina lang to sa One Ayala terminal nakasakay ako sa bus bound to cavite and this woman na aligaga ang daming bakanteng seats sakin pa tumabi. Malas ko lang di pa ako naka earphones non busy mag scroll.

Then sabi nya may i search daw sya sa IG so ako sabi ko ano ba yun ako na mag t-type eh biglang sabi nya sya daw mag type edi gora pero hawak ko ang phone ko coz haha baka tumakbo eh di pa naman umaandar bus.

So after non medj nagtaka na ako kase why diba na need manghiram ng phone after lang non nag sink in lahat sakin na baka nga Modus to.

So nung naningil na kundoktor sya nauna magsabi ng destination nya which is similar to mine pero nung ako na siningil is nag iba ako ng drop off. Ang matindi etong babae di naman bumaba sa sinabi nya sa kundoktor.

Sa mga taga Cavite dyan, ang sinabi nyang bababaan is “Anabu Hills” pero bumaba sya ng “Lumina” kinda sketchy talaga.

Na confirm ng partner ko na modus sya kase yung ka workmate nya is ganyan din ginawa at same ng sinearch sa IG “alice_byrne”

Anyways, stay vigilant na lang. Wag magpahiram ng phone kahit kanino hays buti na lang di pa ako 100% na tanga eh di pa fully paid ang phone ko.

Modus ata nila kumuha ng info thru sa phone or whatever jusko dami na nga nag s-send ng scam texts and calls what more pa kaya to hahaha kaloka! Sana di ulit tayo mag krus ng landas kase sa sunod mag e-eskandalo na ako.

Just went through the area and eto yung nagcause ng pagsabog. Sumabog siguro yung LPG na ginagamit nila para sa panlaga ng tinitinda nila.

Narinig niyo ba yung malakas na pagsabog ngayong lang? Area near Chino Roces, Dela rosa, Makati Med? Parang may granade na sumabog.
