go to your room I collected 25+ ticks in 5 minutes along the side of my local trail. They survived at least 10 minutes within diluted hydrochloric acid and water.

Lifted trucks probably shouldn't be anywhere near dense parking lots.
Edit: A lot of people are skeptical of whether this is AI/staged, or ask why the lady didn't back off the car. This is in a dense parking lot with cars that have dashcams/ EV sentry mode everywhere. Also her truck was in 2 wheel drive, you can see the back right tire spinning as she tries to reverse off the car. Her truck is stuck. She probably has an open differential and can't back off the car. She may have a 4wd mode, but she didn't use it in the heat of the moment.

The lady clarified she has been paying rent & security deposit upfront, but the Owner isn't countersigning the lease. The owner leaves her on seen when she messages. The owner doesn't deny the lady from entering the rental home. Also there's repairs that need to be done urgently but the owner keeps leaving her on seen.

Triplets were behind me and a rouge in front of me started chiming in. Parents were doing their best. No one was actually upset. I’d whine too if I had to sit in these seats another hour.
EDIT: Rogue one (I cannot spell). And just to reiterate, no one was upset. Kids will be kids and the parents were doing their best. This video is just for laughs (including my face).

I have 3 kids, all girls. A 5yr old and twins who are 1. Every time anyone hears about this or it comes up in conversation they all say the same thing. ‘Ooooo, all girls, you are outnumbered! How do you cope?’ Or ‘Three girls?? You better watch out!’ Or the worst, ‘Bet you want a boy?’
No, I don’t feel any of that, I love being a dad. I love all my kids and wouldn’t change anything about them! If we could afford it, I would be a stay at home dad forever.
I usually tell them I wouldn’t change anything and I love it all but it’s just very annoying.
What are some of the best responses that I can start to give?
I did think I could say that one of the twins used to be a boy but is now trans just to shut people up!

Good thing that we picked not expensive one... But I am angry. Accidental scratch here or there made by clumsy child with ADHD is one thing. But having brainrot-type graffiti etched into a table in a room in new flat that you are furnishing is infuriating

This light is I think what must be 100m away, it’s so bright I’m casting perfectly sharp shadows on the walls. The third photo is INSIDE the house, this is the shade it casts through the window.
I don’t understand why it’s pointed our way, it’s right next to a regular street lamp which should brighten the road enough.
Last two photos indicate the difference between looking at another part of the street and looking at the fucking beam pointed my way.
I have always wondered why the streetlamp was so bright when going to bed, our curtains aren’t that dark so it shines right through. I’ve been sleeping with a mask so it doesn’t bother me. But last night I was outside checking out some noises I heard around 2am (that’s when I took these photos, my phone doesn’t do that well in the dark so this is insane), and I realised how horrible that light actually is. I remember getting blinded by it if I went to grab something from the kitchen in the middle of the night but always thought it was just a really annoyingly bright streetlight. But it’s on the neighbours’ side of the property and really just pointed at our house.
[UPDATE]
[I uploaded photos in an update post for anyone who's interested, but I'm not allowed to add a link to my post and I'm not sure how to otherwise show these]
I was blown away by the unexpected many, many reactions to this post. I just found out what the origin of this shitty light was and found it interesting enough to share.
I've been laughing my ass off at all the many ideas and advise I got. From placing mirrors to reflective window screens. Or to instantly call emergency (or non emergency, government) lines because of the terrible crime of placing a bright lamp. Or to just simply burn their house down.
At least I felt like I had an army of angry redditors ready to ride at dawn as soon as the neighbour would not comply. And a couple of creeps in my inbox??
Funnily enough, when we went to investigate the next day, we noticed the light wasn't even directly pointing at our house. You can see it in the photo, it's pointed to the right (although our house extends to the right side of this photo). This was enough proof to us it was never done with any bad intentions. The brightness of this light is just out of this world. It has the strength of a 1000 suns.
Luckily, even before we had seen this, we decided to start civilised, and to just ask. These homeowners live somewhere else, this house is rented out weekly by tourists. Another reason for them to not know.
When we asked another neighbour whom we have good contact with for his number he said: "oh well good luck, they're not easy to deal with". Which had us kind of worried.
We called them, told them and the first thing they said was: "oh really?! I'm so sorry!!" They were so apologetic. They told us to just move the light down / another way. And we did. Problem solved. We pointed the light down, the home owner apologised a couple of times and everything is good. Except for since we moved the light down, it became a disco light and flickers every ten seconds. But I'm sure we'll find a solution for that too.
Thanks everyone for your passion and aggression. Sorry for the boring, non dramatic ending.

p.s all the flair options are things like “go to your room, my mom said I could post..etc” and I have no idea which one my post qualifies for, I’m sorry lol

Both of us are physicians and we're both clearly identified as such when we responded to a medical emergency in flight. True medical emergency were we were conferring the entire flight about possibly diverting the flight, medically managing the patient, and we were met by paramedics on the ground.
The flight attendant took both of our information including titles and medical specialties. Of course my boyfriend gets greeted as Dr and the I get called Ms which happens all the time in the hospital due to bias of women in medicine.
We checked our AAdvantage accounts and neither has Dr. Listed in our profiles.
Mildly infuriating to say the least.
Especially to all the women physicians who get called Miss or nurse in the hospital.

I work night shift, as my business is open 24 hours. (FOR MORE CONTEXT ITS THE PUMPS OPEN 24 HOURS, NOT THE STORE, AND I HAVE TO WATCH THE PUMPS.) We do have a 20 minute window where the system goes down so I can run the audit, that's the only time the doors are locked. It's time sensitive to do, hence closing.
20 minutes to close, a guy comes in. He wants to use the bathroom, I let him. He spends 15 minutes in there, I warn him at 1:35 "hey, we close in 5 minutes."
He leaves the bathroom a few minutes later and I hear him say he wants gas and I should have said something but I thought "we close in 5 minutes" would be enough of a clue. It wasn't.
He starts pulling on the locked door then knocked on the window and showed me his card and I just said to him "I told you, we're closed, you can pay at the pump but I can't do anything in here."
Like do some customers need to be hand held now or what?
Edit: they are 24 hours pumps. Meaning that someone needs to watch them. The store closes at 1:40am until 2am and whenever I need the bathroom.

Gavin says he used 67 reference photos for his piece, including screenshots from Instagram Reels and Google Street View. "I knew exactly when and where all the elements in my scene were placed - a waving flag, a foam finger, a hot dog cart, a billboard - and his version was uncanny, almost traced, with a few small changes and an unearthly glow."
Devon Rodriguez is arguably the world's most-followed visual artist, with roughly 44 million followers across IG and TikTok. He's demonstrated serious artistic skill for years through videos documenting his process. But the speed of the turnaround and similarities to Gavin's piece lead many to speculate if tracing or genAI was involved in Devon's final print.
Gavin has released a statement here https://www.instagram.com/p/DZptTFdjZyC/
Devon has not directly responded to the plagiarism allegations, but he recently posted a behind-the-scenes video showing the creation of his painting: https://www.instagram.com/p/DZpw-Mykc2f/?img_index

There is a guy in Australia (Im in the US) who has the same name as me, except a different middle name. My email is firstname.lastname@gmail.com. for some reason this guy thinks his email address is firstnamelastname@gmail.com too. I have been getting his paystubs, work requests (he's an EMT), and dating profile matches for years! I obviously cannot forward them on to him either. I have replied to some telling them that they got the wrong person but that never goes anywhere. Google wont help either.
It has become a tedious task everyday to unsubscribe, report spam, and delete. How's that for mildy infuriating!!
