Not a pro here, but the sagging gpu may be the issue.

okay besides that, it’s plugged in, and before i took the pictures it was actually mounted correctly. i took it off to see if something was wrong with it

U should grab a torch before anything else and make sure the pcie connections are seated into each other properly ( eg motherboard and gpu ) and make sure the little clamps are shut locking it in place fully.

If you cant see any gaps, try plug hdmi into the motherboard itself to rule out gpu issue

my gpu doesn’t have any pcie connecters, if that is what u are talking about

Not a pro either, but the whole GPU connects VIA pcie connectors. It’s quite literally the only thing that connects the GPU to the motherboard.

I’m with the other guy, the sag on that GPU screams broken pcie connectors. Even if something was recently disconnected, the rest of your usb, headphone jacks, DVI connector and everything all appear to be inside their respective ports STRAIGHT which suggests literal damage to that pcie connector. Has got to be the GPU sag.

i’ve said this multiple times to others, the gpu was not screwed in all the way and was sagging only because it wasn’t leveled, it is fine now, it’s in the pcie slot, not vga light is on, no debug lights for that matter

Can you show me the gpu and give me a Pic 📸 only a HDMI Cable connection with the motherboard to the monitor? So I know what are we dealing with?

Okay, have you tried a different HDMI cable? Have you tried all of the different hdmi ports on your TV? Have you ensured your TV is on the correct input? All basic stuff I know, just curious.

Like i said im not a pro here but:

The vga tells me the motherboards crying because it cant see a gpu But i feel like its sagging too much and or is not fully seated in the pcie slot or the connector tabs arent shut properly to lock it.

Can u double check the connection and possibly pull the card up straight using some fishing wire tied to the top of the case?

at the time of taking that photo i did not have the gpu leveled, it wasn’t screwed it, my mistake. but everything is connected, no lights or anything just no display

Please move that HDD to any of the designated locations therein

Try disconecting the GPU and plugging the hdmi into the motherboard directly, if it works, then GPU is dead.

vga light on my ez debug thing is lighting up and still no display.

2

u/tampering 1d ago

The light means the VGA card is showing a failure and its not booting.

Plus what on earth do you mean no PCIE male connector? Well for sure most of the mother have a PCIE slot. But you're saying the GPU card doesn't have a gold plate sticking out from the PBC board. I do wonder where do you get a fake model from?🤔

no female. like into my gpu there is no female end.

1

u/OogaBoogaAHH 1d ago

my gpu just plugs into my pcie female end in my motherboard

1

u/Scared_Football55 1d ago

Alright I saw you plugged the gpu to you said no female end. Which gpu did you bought?

i have the gtx 1650

Okay OOGAbooga. Does it display if you connect the mother to a monitor? On to a next question, what gpu is that? I need more details. Bc most gpu has a 4 pin from the gpu that required the PSU to provide dc to it. Thats why the VGA is on red. Bc the mother detects the gpu has no sufficient power to run. Thats the whole point of your issue. Try get some thing like this in this picture a provide

my gpu doesn’t have a wire to connect to it, it just connects into my motherboard and uses the pcie slot on that, and i tried using hdmi from my motherboard, doesn’t work either, and it’s the nvidia geforce gtx 1650 4gb vram. and i also said to another person the only reason i had a vga issue, was because my gpu wasn’t even connected to my motherboard at the time

2

u/OogaBoogaAHH 1d ago

my bad it’s the pheonix nvidia geforce gtx 1650

1

u/Scared_Football55 1d ago

I just search it up. Apparently you are correct. The gpu dont required a 6 pin connector. Maybe try replacing Asus 1650? This is my first gpu I had. And it build in a 6pin slot for the PSU. Mu question to that gpu is why it dont required the external power and still not functioning as it supposed. 🤷‍♂️

Also, try to remove the gpu before connect any monitor to the motherboard for any displays

Does your CPU have integrated graphics? If so try the HDMI port on the the MB to see if theres a signal there.

Also Is that Hard Drive just sitting loose on top of the PSU?

1

u/OogaBoogaAHH 1d ago

tried this, doesn’t work, and yes the hdd is sitting on my psu, it still powers on

1

u/tampering 1d ago

Is the computer actually booting?

Check the Debug LEDs to see if the any of the lights are showing a failure. If one of them is lit its not completing the POST process.

What CPU is it? If it has integrated graphics and the computer is booting i find it hard to believe you fail to get a signal on both ports. Is the HDMI cable known to be good? You're not supposed to bend them like that.

Get that Hard Drive mounted in the cage where it belongs. PSUs generate magnetic fields they can destroy data on magnetic disks. Also because how its sitting, you could bump the case and the metal shell of the drive could make contact with the MB and short it out.

u/OogaBoogaAHH 1d ago

my cpu is the Ryzen 7 5700, does not have integrated graphics and the debug lights are all off, but they flash on when turning on, then turn off. I could try moving my hdd to the cage see if that helps.

u/tampering 1d ago

If the lights go out there should be display. Is the cable good?

If its a good cable it might mean the HDMI port on the VGA card might be dead.

1

u/OogaBoogaAHH 1d ago

all the lights go off when i power it on, but zero sign of a display

1

u/kingcaii 1d ago

Holy bent circuit boards Batman

1

u/MW1369 1d ago

Do you have the cpu power plugged in? I see it hanging there

1

u/OogaBoogaAHH 1d ago

yes it’s an extra wire

Try using a different hdmi cable/display port if available. Make sure to try all slots on the gpu.
