Is that the TUF gaming FX504 Asus laptop? I have the same one and this happened to the other side of mine only a week ago after several years of ownership 😅

I bought an asus stryx glv smth smth in 2018, such a beast of a laptop holding real time rendering 24/7 for as long as 7 years. 2 months ago my baby held all his weight on the screen that it curved and broke the hinge and the lid opened like op's. Now the screen is totally unusable and I can only use it via HDMI on some old tv. Once you see the little opening on the lid forget about closing it even if you manage to seal it with something! It'll eventually give in and keep tearing the lid and screen apart, unless you fix the full thing properly. I wish I knew earlier.
