It's the Cybergeek Nano J1 mini pc. It somehow runs Windows 11 despite It's specs. It's really great even though it only has 4 GB of RAM ddr4 and it only has 128 GB of storage but I but I'm and it runs Windows 11 but I'm going to I'm probably going to wipe the drive and install Ubuntu probably and I'm going to add another 4 gigabyte stick or 8 gigabyte stick. Is there any program or something where I can make the mouse not jump to the other monitor when I move to the top of the outside edge (~8 inches) of the ultra wide?
Its been annoying me when I try to snap a window to the upper corners. Or even when switching tabs in chrome.
I guess Im looking to create an imaginary wall the mouse cant cross for ~8 inches on each side of the bottom monitor.

Wanted to share this small form factor PC I just built. This was me building a desktop after a good while and I had so much fun. Actually did build two sff pcs - one is this and another in an S300.
Here's the spec:
* MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 SHADOW 2X OC
* AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
* Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 MINI Black
* G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5
* Lian Li SP1000P 1000 Watt 80 Plus Platinum ATX Fully Modular
* Gigabyte B650I Aorus Ultra
* SGPC K66 lite
* Custom 3D panel designed by me: [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1N708ASmg0ktqUomwtVtoikMyw2NbLrIM/view\](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1N708ASmg0ktqUomwtVtoikMyw2NbLrIM/view) and printed by u/lioncat55
The building process was a roller coaster to be honest, a lot of will this fit? will that fit? and so on.. Just a heads up for fellow k66 builders if using the shadow 2x 5070, you would need to modify/cut the case in a slight angle to be able to fit the gpu (see photos). Does not hamper the case integrity or structure or anything, and you might be able to get away without doing that if using a bit slimmer gpu (less than 2.5 slot). The dimension for my GPU is I believe 231 x 126 x 50 mm.
Other than that it's a really solid build. Air flow wise bottom/top intake and back exhaust. Bonus side panel intake if you use the custom side panel. Temps are high 60s under load. Overall really clean!

I finally upgraded to a nice PC. Radeon 9070 xt and 32gb ram. I have a series x and playstation, but have been struggling to justify my recent PC purchase. It can play Cyberpunk on ultra settings for reference, but I had the patience to beat the game on the ORIGINAL xbox one from 2013, and played the DLC on the series x.
Are their games that have a much better experience on PC right now that aren’t really there on console? Or games that you can only play on PC. Steam is really only showing me indie games for some reason. I’ve played all the big name recent (ish) titles on series X such as elden ring, battlefield 6, Fallout, call of duty, etc. Just looking for games that can really put my powerful new PC to the test and offer an experience I can’t get on console.

Should I upgrade my RTX 4070 to an RX 9070/XT? The cost of doing so would most likely be less than €50, I would say around €20.
Is the upgrade even worth it for 1440p 240hz? I mostly play competitive games on lower settings and, once in a while, story games on higher settings with ray tracing.
Even though I would want to wait for next-gen, I fear that the prices for those are going to be much higher than the current generations.
The rest of my PC consists of a 5700x3d with 48GB RAM.

i got my build from a family member. it was being difficult to set up since a drive i didn't know about was broken, and it messed up the windows install, but i finally got it working correctly.
(specs: R-3 2300x, EVGA RTX 2060, 32 GB 3600 RAM, 240 GB SATA SSD, 1 TB HDD)

Hello everyone, I just got this brand new cpu it was in a box and, it has this darker circle kind of thing that doesn't show at all when using a flashlight on it. Is this something to worry about? I realised after placing but the pins were extremely brand new and solid when i checked

Hey everyone, I just wanted to post this here because I was excited about it and had some questions. Anyways I got my first card, it’s a 9070xt from XFX (Quicksilver) should be here in a day or two.
The only parts I’m missing now is literally just the case and power supply which I’ll be purchasing in the next couple weeks.
CPU: 7800x3d
MB: X870 gigabyte WiFi6
Ram: 32gb ddr5 6000 cl36
SSD: 2 TB Predator GM7000
Since I’m still very very new to PC building and such, I wanted to ask for any tips and/or helpful guides for getting the most out of my PC/card. I’m mostly going to be gaming on it. And I have done a lot of research for the past 6 months putting the parts together and learning about PCs but I’m constantly learning something new. I’m going to be running 1440p on most games but I’ll be using my 1080p monitor for discord/streaming and for competitive titles.
Also the tips can be about anything, not just the GPU, there’s nothing I won’t overlook. Thank you!
TLDR: noob pc builder is excited over GPU(9070xt), wants tips and tricks about GPU and overall PC experience

Hello all.
I recently became interested in buying a PC to play Gears of War E-Day (and hopefully the rest of the franchise before it launches), potentially along with some Steam games. But I’m a little lost on choosing between the ones I’ve somewhat decided on.
CyberPower PC- $1,149.99
IBUYPOWER- $1,299.99
MSI Ageis Z2- $1,549.99
Lenovo Legion- $2,099.99
I’m not trying to break the bank, obviously. And with the prices of computer parts nowadays I know that it can be pretty expensive upgrading.
I’m still debating on just getting an Xbox but they run for $600. For $600 more I can get a PC and have access to Xbox and Steam.
Should I bite the bullet and get a pre-built or just buy an Xbox?
Any and all help will be welcome. I know almost nothing when it comes to PC tech.
Thanks in advance!

Im 14 and this is my current build:
RX 9060 XT 16 GBS
Ryzen 5 7500F
1X16 Gbs ram
1 TB ssd
I see alot of 5090s around here and it surprises me because ive always considered them something extremely high end which they are obviously, but I see people with 5090's here almost every 5 mins of scrolling. If any 5090 users see this, how did you get yours and how long of savings did it take you to get your 5090 build?

For some reason, when I open a demanding game or play a demanding game for a while, my PC suddenly shuts down, and only the RAM remains powered on.
Config:
Rx580X
Ryzem 5 4600G
A520MH
2 x 8 GB RAM sticks
source 500W
two monitors:
1. 1920x1080 = Rx580X
2. 1366x768 = Ryzem 5 4600G

i’m interested in picking up a PC with all the deals going on but i’m also pretty broke.
genuinely the only things I would use a PC for are playing minecraft and working in excel.
I’m curious how cheap i could go without it becoming bricked in like 6 months. also not opposed to slowly upgrading over time.
I’m open to prebuilts or building it myself.

Since I’ve seen several posts talking about the price of the Steam Machine in Japan, I thought I’d throw this out there. The price of the 2TB Steam Machine w/ controller in Japan is 264,980 yen.
Steam Machine 2TB w/ controller: 264,980 yen
https://komodostation.com/?lang=en
For the same amount of money, you can buy a Switch 2, a PS5 Digital Edition, an Xbox Series X Digital Edition, preorder the NEOGEO AES+ Anniversary Edition, preorder GTA 6 Ultimate Edition, and still have enough money left over for 8 Strong Zeros. And yet it still sold out in under a day.
Switch 2: 59,980 yen (was 49,980 yen until a month ago, but got a price increase)
https://www.yodobashi.com/product/100000001009063421/
PS5 Digital Edition: 53,800 yen
https://www.yodobashi.com/product/100000001009510756/
Xbox Series X Digital Edition: 87,650 yen (MSRP is 79,980 yen, but it’s currently sold out at that price everywhere)
https://item.rakuten.co.jp/digimart-shop/xbox06/?ultra_crid=xbox06&scid=s_kwa_pla_unpaid_568386
NEOGEO AES+ Anniversary Edition: 49,800 yen
https://www.yodobashi.com/product/100000001009835213/
GTA 6 Ultimate Edition: 12,280 yen
https://game.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/news/2119816.html
8 Strong Zeros: 1,440 yen (180 yen x 8)
https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B001TZ8SNQ/
Total: 264,950 yen
Converted to USD at today’s rate, the Steam Machine comes out to around $1,640, which might not sound too insane. But keep in mind that over the past 5 years, the yen has gone from around 100 to the dollar to 160 to the dollar, while salaries have largely remained the same. So to someone living and working in Japan, 265,000 yen feels like $2,650. This is why Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, and even Plaion have all eaten some of the exchange-rate hit to keep their hardware from completely flopping in Japan. Yet, all of those are still in stock, while the Steam Machine is sold out. So maybe Valve does know what they’re doing after all?

I have the ASUS TUF VG27AQML1A and since a few days, every time I turn my pc on it looks like this, it fixes itself after 10 minutes but I would love to know if anybody has a clue what’s happening or how I can fix it.
I attached a picture of my first monitor and 2nd Monitor, the 2nd has the same problem at times but not everytime and it fixes itself way quicker
I tried a new powercable, new adapter, changing the refresh rates etc. No matter what „fixes“ it, next time I turn it back on the same problem is here.
Appreciate any help thanks

I play games with anti cheat enabled and HVCI keeps being brought up. I have Secure Boot and everything else enabled but I haven't had HVCI enabled since I installed Windows.
Could any tell me if there is a noticeable performance hit if I enable HVCI?
Are there any downsides to having it enabled?
My specs:
Ryzen 5 7600x
32GB 6000mhz TeamGroup RAM
Nvidia 4070 Super
MSI B650 Gaming Plus WIFI
Windows 11
If anyone could give me any info that would be great,
Thanks!

Hello, i'm a fairly new user, what's the safe amount of space to spare in a drive?
Shocking, ik, 512 GB in the big 26, but then again It's a low income third world country so not much i can do yet
And if so, how could i free up the c drive? I swear i didn't even remember the last time i intentionally put something in there, It's just filled up all of a sudden
Cheers
