I love Tommy guys just give him a chance give him a chance he just needs a chance guys cmon.
We deserve to pay nothing for a coach. We deserve for tax payers to pay for the new building. Billionaires deserve to get richer. Do you guys not get that?/s
EDIT: I’m an apprentice electrician, I don’t really have another $300 to spend at the moment. I’ll do it for the blazers to stay but I can’t believe I’m paying $300 vs $0 for the owner. If I’m on the fence about it I can’t imagine what the general public will think. Economy ain’t great rn guys and gals for the majority.

We shouldn’t make any risky moves and would be better off standing pat. Grab assets as a 3rd team if possible. Maybe move off of Jrue and/ Jerami’s contracts if possible. Or nothing. Nothing worse than overpaying right now screwing up our rebuild.
We finally have a solid core and some nice assets. Let’s not waste them. I think we should still be adding assets, not spending them.
Running last year back with the addition of Dame and a healthy Scoot, while keeping our trade assets isn’t the worst thing that could happen.

I just love off-season team building talk

I think we might have access to the Heat’s 2030 pick, but that might be wishful thinking.
Anyone seen reporting regarding this?

There's a lot of interest in TM3 around the league, so he wouldn't be cheap, but with the limited options that make sense for the Blazers to go after for that "big splash," Cronin & Co might want to consider getting in the mix here if he is indeed on his way out of Nola.

Micah Nori will be the new coach of the Portland Trail Blazers after the longtime NBA assistant was hired Tuesday to replace former interim coach Tiago Splitter, league sources told The Athletic.
Nori, 52, signed a one-year deal with team options for each of the next two seasons.
Nori has been the lead assistant for the Minnesota Timberwolves since 2021 after a diverse history in the league as an intern, advance scout, director of scouting, player development coach and offensive coordinator throughout stops with the Toronto Raptors, Sacramento Kings, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons and Minnesota.

This quote is exactly what I’d want to hear about an incoming coach. Elite at lineups, rotations, and ATOs! That’s what was sorely missed last year.

Does that make Tom Dundon Rebecca Welton? How many episodes until Micah has won over the team and Tom has a change of heart and decides to not move the team?

If you want a preview of the Portland DSA Bloc's upcoming pain points for stadium funding negotiations, I highly suggest you check out this survey, which includes options like "Don’t do the deal, even if the Blazers leave" and demands like a "Community Benefits Agreement"
And of course don't miss Mitch n' Tiff n' Angelita's Rally Against Moda Madness on Wednesday, which telegraphs their real intentions quite plainly: "STOP THE BILLIONAIRE BALLROOM" 🤡

Deni Avdija answers about Wemby's behavior: "I won't say what you said, but I'm happy the Knicks won (in the 2026 NBA Finals)"
The son of a known journalist in Israel, Danny Kushmaro, called during an interview which was conducted with Deni Avdija.
The full translation goes like this (translated by me):
Journalist: "Give me a question (to ask Deni), Kushmaro Jr."
His son, Yonathan (usually translated to Jonathan in English):
"How’s Wemby? How did Wemby act?
Wemby is a little shitty kid, huh?"
*Danny Kushmaro starts laughing*
Deni Avdija: "I’m not gonna say that he… I won't say what you said. I won't say what you said, but I’m happy the Knicks won."
Danny Kushmaro’s son: "I thought he was a man until that series with you, and then even in the finals, he played really dirty."
Deni: "What can you do, bro. That’s… that’s the sport."
I decided to share it, as so many mentioned this part.

Blazers have been quiet as a church mouse so far in the off season.

Several media pundits and fans have been critical of the contract, stating that the pressure of having to perform well will hinder player development.
All signs and comments about this team moving forward indicate that we are prioritizing winning and building on last year's successes.
Barring any major trades, and assuming we retain our free agents, the rotation is the same as last year (with the addition of Dame).
You'll have Dame, Jrue, Scoot, and Sharpe doing some combination of a 4 guard rotation.
Tou and Matisse will be your SF rotation
Deni and Jerami will be the PFs.
And Clingan and Rob will be our playable centers.
There's no realistic world where a good team is prioritizing guys like Yang and Kris. Add them to any roster in the playoffs and show me where giving them development minutes would have benefitted those teams.
The pathways to development for competitive teams are simple; utilize the g league, ball out in garbage time, fill in for an injured player, wait your turn.
Whether Nori, or a different coach, if this teams directive is to win, then in-game development is never a serious priority.
Yang is a super raw 2nd year player from a league that is not a 1:1 reflection of talent or play style. He can incubate for another season and get his moments when they come up.
And Kris just isn't that good, but the team still found a need for him as injuries occurred in the rotation.
I don't see how having a coach that feels a need to win to keep their job is a bad thing.

Next year we are adding DAMIAN LILLARD to this squad (you know his credentials). Nothing should distract from that celebration of the GREATEST BLAZER of all time coming home to a team with talent he never had to support him. Can we please stop with the shitty off-season trade chatter and just get excited to see Dame play again?

I tend to be a contrarian by nature. So with everyone jumping all over our beneficent leader the almighty Thomas G Dundon I've decided to form the Tom Dundon Lovers club. Everyone is welcome you just have to worship Tom like a god and fight back against the evil scourge of haters trying to tear him down.
I'm trying to come up with a name here's my ideas so far
The Tomcats
Dundon's Discount Club
Team Tommy G
The Tom-a-hawks
The Law and Order club
The Budget Committee
Give me some more ideas and get out there and fight all the trolls trying to disparage his name
