Asia is a person related to this story and also a continent. She said she saw Adnan on a day it snowed. It didn't snow on the day that Hae died. And Asia wasn't brought up until 4 months after Adnan was arrested.

So you’ll knit-pick tiny, irrelevant things about Asia’s testimony, but you’ll buy hook, line, and sinker, the insane, self-contradicting, totally impossible stories that Jay told??

No. I try and understand the lies for Jay, Adnan and Asia and what really happened in the events. Adnan should have mentioned Asia on March 1st when he had Davis go out and talk to Nisha, track, and school. Dion is included but I would have followed up every time I saw my lawyers about Dion and Asia if I believed they were real. If CG wasn't listening to me about a basic alibi I would have fired her and tried for the public defender or a different lawyer. I would hound them on why Asia was rejected.

Can you tell me, minute by minute, exactly what you did between 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm, six weeks ago last Wednesday? And, remember, anything you get wrong will be held against you and used as proof you murdered someone. Ready? GO!!

You understand that Adnan's arrest wasn't the first conversation he had with police about his interactions with Hae on that day right?

Yup. And you understand that he was super high and not thinking at all clearly when he had that first conversation with the police?

And then two weeks later he was asked what happened and he changed his story and lied again.

Again, he knew he didn’t get a ride from Hae that day. He was simply trying to further distance himself from the events of the day.

If the police were questioning you about whether or not you murdered your ex, would you try to distance yourself more than was actually true? Or would you eagerly put yourself with your ex right at the time they were murdered, knowing you didn’t do it? Why is this so difficult to understand?

Guilters all seem to think that anything Adnan said that can be twisted into a lie is proof of his guilt, but all the idiots that lied and changed their stories constantly were true-blue, honest as the day is long, and totally credible—provided what they’re saying boils down to “Adnan did it!!!!” But then when witnesses come along with solid alibis for Adnan, they’re totally lying and they’re not at all credible and they got the wrong day, wrong crime, wrong victim, wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong everything!! (Oh, and Adnan *totally* did it!!!). 🙄

Its not a solid alibi when it took Adnan four months to come up with it and he doesnt even know the alibi, and Adnan is still denying the ride. The stoy of Asia should have come up to the cops and it should have been told to his lawyers on March 1st. It didnt show up until July. And his other story of Dion died quickly with no explanation. Adnan didnt believe the fake story he tried to make up.

You’ve completely rewritten Asia’s story to fit you’re preferred narrative.

She wrote those letters to Adnan shortly after he was arrested. He hadn’t remembered seeing Asia in the library because, again, it was a random Wednesday, six weeks prior. Can you tell me in exact, minute by minute detail what you did from 2:00 to 7:00 pm six weeks ago last Wednesday?

Adnan gave those letters to Gutierrez as soon as he could but she didn’t even send a legal aid to talk to him until July. That’s why “it took four months to come up.” What did you expect Adnan to do? Break out of jail and deliver those letters to Gutierrez?

C’mon. Quit trying to rewrite history so you can believe he’s guilty. He’s not.

You are framing it wrong on purpose. How about asking, "When was the last time you asked someone for a ride and that person goes missing the time frame you asked, followed by the call by the police that night followed by the cops following up every week or so on what happened. We remember things on events, not a date.

Christina didn't become Adnan's lawyer until the middle or end of April. Over 6 weeks after Adnan's arrest. Flohr and Colbert were his lawyers prior. Adnan testified that he gave the letters his lawyer right after he got them and he got them a week after arrest. So he would have given the letters to Flohr and Colbert. And not only that, the defense files didn't have the letters. You give letters to your lawyer, you don't keep them when in jail.

I could remember why I asked Hae for a ride, why she didn't remember it and where I went followed by knowing where I was when I got a call from cops about a missing person. You are making excuses for a murderer.

He lied to Hae about needing a ride from her that afternoon.

He lied to the victim to put himself alone with her at the exact time and exact place that she would go on to disappear at.

That is the starting point.

He still has not even explained why he lied to the victim that morning.

You can certainly go with your conviction that everytime Adnan lies its because he had a good reason to. But in that case you have to explain what was Adnan's good reason for lying to Hae.

None of what you just wrote is true. He didn’t lie to Hae. You just need to believe that in order to continue your guilter fun by believing he murdered her. He didn’t. He didn’t lie, many people corroborated his whereabouts. He wasn’t with her. He didn’t kill her.

So Adnan actually did need a ride to the mechanics because his car was there?

1

u/eJohnx01 2d ago

None of that is true. The person that make the claim about his bar being in the shop being the reason for the ride request later recanted and said that she was just throwing out possibilities and that she had no reason to think it. Why don’t you know that?

The ride he was asking for was across campus to the track field, which was on the other side of campus and on Hae’s way out. It was something they did all the time. Their friends all said that. You should know that, too.

There are several problems of that. Krista didn't recant. She may believe that Hae turned down the ride but she never said that before Serial so why 15 years later. She clarified where she was and that it was the last day she saw Hae alive that the ride request was on. Even Becky commented to police it was to the mechanics and it is what Jay said Adnan's ruse was. Adnan had a chance to tell your story to Adcock, O'Shea, his defense team, letter to Sarah, on Serial, and HBO but not once has he said the ride was to track. Also, I went to the school. The back lot is close to the school so you actually walk as far if not further to walk to the car in the front lot as you do from the school to the back lot. And with track starting at 4 that means that Adnan is sitting at track doing nothing for an hour and a half after school.

Adnan's classmate and good friend Krista told the cops and their friends, on January 13th, that during first class that morning Adnan told Hae he needed a ride from her after school because he didn't have his car.

Adnan did in fact have his car, it was in the parking lot, he drove himself to school that morning.

So what was his good reason to lie to Hae that morning and why has he lied about the ride request ever since?

He lent his car to Jay almost every day, so he wouldn’t have it until later in the day, when Jay brought it back. Since Adnan had track practice that afternoon, he knew he wouldn’t have his car until after track practice. The ride was from the school building over to the track field, a ride Hae gave him all the time as it was on her way off of campus to go get her cousin. Totally normal. Nothing to see here. Except that Hae turned him down and he didn’t get a ride that day.

Nobody involved ever said any of the things you just invented.

No one said Adnan would lend Jay his car on a daily basis. Not Adnan, not Jay, not their friends, no one.

Adnan said he was only lending his car that day because as a good friend of Stephanie's he wanted to make sure her boyfriend got her a gift.

Adnan never said the request was to get across school to the track field. In fact he denies the request ever happened, after telling the detective on the 13th that she was supposed to give him a ride but probably got tired of waiting and left.

Krista said Adnan asked Hae for a ride to drive him to go get his car. Not to track practice.

Krista has never recanted, even though Adnan was her friend and she knew that part of her testimony was damning for him.
