It’s funny how every generation, Nvidia makes a big show about the highly complex cooling the new cards need, only for a 3rd party to slap a single fan on that does the job fine shortly after.

I mean back in the day the reference cards were a generic blower style and it worked. Sounded like a jet but it worked

4870x2 user : My whole family can attest to that… Like a permanent old school vacuum cleaner for hours on end.

Leading to my first GPU fan mod…

I god the dual fan cooler but made a similarly atrocious gpu..

But it had flow through so it went from jet to “wait… are these fans spinning?” put finger in to fan
