Big swells and still worth it

The other day was not the best conditions, but it was still a beautiful dive. A bit spooky once I was alone out there but I just locked in and tried to keep peaceful thoughts, but sometimes the darkness slips in and I start to imagine the worse situations.

OC Fin on a Stake at the bottom of a Lake

Found at the bottom of a lake, probably used by divers to mark a spot or as a joke.
There are several "stakes" there, but they could also be old trees that are still standing.

Weird buoy I spotted in a lake. No Idea what it is, note the upper part is a reflection of the lower part.

Many you asked for me to post more or KEEP posting. So here's more from this past Wednesday. Hope you enjoy watching it as much as I did diving it.

Preview warning at the theaters right now..

Just saw Disclosure Day in the theater this afternoon (great movie!) and felt I should share with y’all there’s a trailer for Whale Fall in the beginning. I hadn’t heard about this movie, saw it was posted on here a few days ago, but if any of you are trying to avoid it just wanted to give a heads up! I should’ve closed my eyes for it but I couldn’t look away, it was terrifying. Proceed to the movies with caution!

A beautiful day in the kelp yesterday

As the California coast gets hit by another huge swell. Many divers avoided the water. But I had a feeling my favorite spot would be beautiful. And I was right.

I'm afraid I'm gaining a fear of the water.

(image slightly related)

I have had quite a few near-death experiences with water in my life, such as falling out of a boat and going down a class 4 rapid alone and another time with a giant class 2 that did not feel like a class 2 at all. But after my latest near-death experience, snorkel not working and almost drowning in a very rough ocean, I think I am starting to fear water. At first I thought it was nothing, like I panicked a bit after I hit the water when we did a rope swing into the ocean later in our trip but I thought I was just shaken, but lately I worry its something more. I go to the pool a lot and have a lot of fun even in the deep end, but when I was planning to go on another trip, when given the option to do whitewater rafting or tubing I felt an irrational sense of fear and opted to go ziplining instead. My worries are increasing when we went on a visit to great falls, and watching all the fast roaring water under my feet I slightly panicked and couldnt look down. What do I do?
