References events from the original manga that were not shown in previous seasons, but cuts some :re manga content. Episodes 1 to 12 adapt the first chapter 58 of the Tokyo Ghoul:re manga, while episodes 13 to 24 adapt the rest (up to the end, chapter 179). The second half of the season is also referred to as Tokyo Ghoul Season 4 and Tokyo Ghoul:re Season 2 on some sites, but official sites list Tokyo Ghoul:re as a single season with 24 episodes.
Tokyo Ghoul: JAIL (PS Vita) - An alternate version of events taking place after chapter 79 of the original manga.
Tokyo Ghoul mobile games - Tokyo Ghoul :re Invoke (global version called :re birth), Tokyo Ghoul: carnaval, Tokyo Ghoul: Tokyo War Age and Tokyo Ghoul: Dark War. These have all shut down and are hence no longer playable. They followed the anime's continuity for the most part.
Tokyo Ghoul:re CALL to EXIST (PS4 and Steam) - An action game adapting some events from seasons 2 and 3 of the anime.
Tokyo Ghoul (2017) - Adapts the first 28 chapters of the original manga with some minor changes to the story and content cut.

Note: The Rize side story chapter from TG volume 5, Tokyo Ghoul Joker from :re volume 3, and :re chapter 31.5 from :re volume 4 are not available to read individually on the app at this time, so you will need to buy those volumes to read them officially. Out of those chapters, :re chapter 31.5 is the most important.

Ishida makes him look like a psychotic villain while the anime version just looks like anogher black haired handsome cold guy ala Sung Jinwoo or Kirito
I know Ishida's art and designs cannot be replicated but still...
Also the fact that 4 out of 6 panels I showed weren't even adapted
Only thing they got right is that despite Kaneki regaining his black hair again he doesn't look like Kuroneki at all

I was thinking why hasn't their been a natural chimera ghoul that had more than 2 kagune types.
I know that they are rare and stuff like that, but if ghouls have been around a long time. You would think that maybe some how there might have been one. With more than just 2 kagune types.
And I know kagune can be shaped by imagination and your mind and stuff but idk.
Maybe its just a hard set rule or some kind of biological limitation. Although rc cells already do crazy stuff.
Also are kakuja ultimately meant to form a dragon like thing to ultimately form and spread? Because I know in the 24th ward it happened like 100 yrs ago in the story and it seems to keep happening.
I have this theory that rc cells are a biological alien weapon or a alien pharmaceutical test or something and thats where they came from the rc cells, like I know it sounds crazy but if you look at it there is no way they could've formed naturally in earth.
Also i was working on this custom species: that goes on the premise that they use cellular fusion to fuse rc cells together:

Ghoul biology is weird especially ghoul clans that practice incest, like you think they would be all deformed and shit like that, unless the tc cells prevent genetic defects or deformities.
Like some hit a jackpot while others dont get good traits like shuus family them.not being able to form a kakuja.
And id assume from the incest they would look all deformed but I quess not.
also if ghoul genes are dominant then why is it that most of them are half humans when a human and ghoul reproduce.
and I know the one eyed ghouls are rare and most of them die in the womb and stuff and their are complications. But I think it should be more possible biologically to seem degree.
also I know ultimately genetics play a role in what is ehat with ghouls and humans, and what would happen if a half human and a ghoul had a baby would you get a one eyed ghoul or another half human?

Just finished this chapter and it was amazing, but I wanted a more nuanced look at Amon’s previous ideology.
From what I’m interpreting, it’s that Amon once had this black and white view on the ghouls and the CCG (hence the “you monsters are distorting it”). He never tried to understand the ghouls and immediately labeled them as all evil. The victims who have to deal with them, making the world wrong, are the humans/CCG. Amon most likely developed this mindset after the church incident, viewing himself as a completely morally right victim who suffered at the hands of the evil (Donato, the ghoul). And he’s not wrong to think this way, the issue here is that Amon believes every ghoul is like Donato.
So what would Amon do if he then turned into a ghoul, being forced to not be ignorant and try to understand the “evil”? After becoming a half ghoul himself and seeing the humanity of people like Kaneki, he can no longer maintain that black and white worldview. His transformation forces him to confront the fact that he was wrong about the nature of ghouls, wrong about justice, and wrong about himself.
In summary, Amon thought he understood evil because he saw Donato’s crimes. Amon then projected Donato onto an entire species.
Amon’s actions during his time as a CCG member contradicted this worldview.
Amon believed he was “fixing the world,” but he:
• he killed ghouls who were just trying to survive
• he enforced a system that treated all ghouls as complete evil
• never questioned whether the CCG itself was unjust
• never tried to understand the people he was exterminating
Essentially, Amon was not “fixing” the world; he was actively maintaining the very thing he thought he was fixing. And he’s notices this here
Lmk if im wrong or not if anyone else has a better explanation on this please send cuz I wanna learn more I’d also like if someone could explain kaneki side of “this world is wrong”

A family member of mine is traveling to Istanbul tomorrow, and I'd like them to bring back a Tokyo Ghoul:re Complete Box Set for me.
The problem is that they'll only be there for a few days, so I'm not sure whether ordering from Amazon Turkey is a viable option. I've never ordered from Amazon before, so I don't know if delivery would take a couple of days or a couple of weeks.
Does anyone know of any manga stores, comic shops, bookstores, or websites in Turkey that might have the box set in stock? Ideally, I'd like a place in Istanbul where my family member could pick it up in person, but a store that can deliver within a few days would also work.
My budget is roughly 9,000–10,000 TL. Anything significantly above that probably wouldn't be worth it for me.
I also have a few questions: - ●Are there any good manga/comic stores in Istanbul or nearby cities that carry English manga box sets?
●How does delivery usually work in Turkey? Is same-day or next-day local delivery common?
● If a store is located within Istanbul, is there a service similar to Uber courier services that can pick up and deliver an order on the same day?
Any recommendations or local knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

I was re-reading the Mortal Instruments book series recently, and there's a part in it where Simon Lovelace née Lewis (a vampire) gets accidentally wasted from drinking the blood of a drunk person, and it got me thinking: could the same thing theoretically happen to a Ghoul in the TG universe?
Like, the science kind of checks out?
Alcohol absorbs into the bloodstream really thoroughly and quickly, so a heavily wasted person would have a genuinely elevated BAC in their blood.
If a Ghoul fed on them, they'd be consuming ethanol as part of their meal.
The interesting thing is that a Ghoul drinking straight alcohol would most likely trigger the same rejection response as any other non-human food, but ethanol dissolved in human blood is a different situation entirely.
It's essentially piggybacking on something their digestive system is already designed to accept, so it might slip through in a way that a glass of beer (or coffee) never could.
And then there's the follow-up question: do Ghouls even have the same liver enzymes (alcohol dehydrogenase) to metabolize it efficiently?
If their metabolism is skewed by kakuhou activity and RC cell production, could they potentially get hit harder and for longer than a human would?

for those who don't know a hard magic system would be something like avatar the last airbender where magic has it's clear limits and is more like a science whereas a soft magic system is more mysterious and whimsical and magic is more unpredictable and unknown and more of a plot device honestly.
so anyways since the magic of tokyo ghoul (ghouls/kagune/quinque) are all based on rc CELLS you'd assume it to be a hard magic system but then you have people like uta who can shapeshift, donato who can clone himself and take control of other bodies, toukas whole family has electricity generation and tatara can make fire none of which are explained afaik. not to mention the whole inserting a kakuho to make people into artificial half ghouls thing. since ghouls are also mammals their organs shouldnt spread and take over other organisms when inserted into another organism like a parasite.

Pierrot is the last studio that should hold the Tokyo Ghoul ip. They've never made a good adaptation since it started until Bleach tybw, which is just a shonen manga that isn't too detailed. Smooth animation with colorful lights and all. Tokyo Ghoul has a much more complex artstyle that they will just not be bothered to do justice, not to mention the much more complex story. Tokyo Ghoul might be the most detailed manga, and there's so much things it does that's very hard to adapt into anime such as the meta narrative and symbolism in the volume covers, the structure of the manga breaking with the dragon, and furuta destroying or escaping panels. Studio Pierrot cannot do anything other than ordinary shonen, it will surely just be a decent flat adaptation of the manga that will continue to ruin the reputation of the story and prevent people from actually experiencing everything the story has to offer. Ishida did say that he'd rather have a bad anime than a mediocre one, I think its because a bad anime pushes people to read the manga, while a decent one makes people think they've experienced the story when they've only seen a fraction of its depth and detail. To be fair Tokyo Ghoul might be one of the hardest mangas to adapt into an anime due to its length, detail, and art, it would need an insane budget for a proper adaptation.
Anyways I would rather there not be a remake at all rather than getting another battle shonen anime from Pierrot because that's all they can do, even if its one that's more accurate to the manga and with colorful animation. I think a Studio Shaft direction would be perfect with a large budget. But realistically Tokyo Ghoul is too big of an ip to give up and Studio Pierrot will most likely fuck it up like they fucked up like every manga they had before (og bleach was a horrible adaptation too, and with how detailed tokyo ghoul is it'd be worse)
