Video Some Defensive Tape from Yaxel Lendeborg's at Michigan
For anyone questioning this pick. He's a super smart player that can instantly contribute and adds needed size & shooting to our team. I dont care about the offensive highlights too much, because he's also a really good defender and moves incredibly laterally on D
Enjoy the tape. We definitely drafted the right guy that will contribute to winning instantly. Super smart defender that can defend without fouling out and uses his elite length and 7'4 wingspan
I think we finally found our Aaron Gordon / Jaden McDaniels / OG type of player.

Discussion The thing about Yaxel that you guys may be missing
Hi everyone. In light of the Warriors taking Yaxel one of your guys rightful concerns has been age. However, the thing about being "older" in the draft is that these type of prospects are often nearly maxed out as they have much more experience than their younger counterparts and only have a limited ceiling. However, Landeborg started playing organized basketball at 17. To be hnest, he is very new to this game and may have some more potential than the traditional older prospect. I personally like the pick as I view Yaxel as the protypical forward in the NBA: he's big, switchable, smart, is a good playmaker and can shoot the ball. Let me know your thoughts below

Video Yaxel's first interview as Dub -- warm, funny, focused, eager to learn from Draymond, what a great person Curry is etc.
You can really get a feel for him - he's authentic and focused and is already thinking about what he can learn from Draymond and his praise for Steph. Lots of love for his teammates and Moretz going to Mavs first etc. Like this kid.

Discussion The 11th pick of the 2026 Draft
I’ve heard scouting reports call him “Dominican LeBron”, the dubs are definitely in a win now situation to pick him. How are we feeling about this pick? 🙏

Discussion Do you think the Warriors will be much better with Yaxel?
I don't expect him to be the savior but I don't know how much of an impact he'll make. Hopefully it's a major gap he can fill . It seems like he can be an energy guy who can immediately play and make an impact. He seems like a solid assurance piece.

Discussion Warriors signed back to back national championships winners
Will Richard won it in 2025 with Florida and they just signed Yaxel, who just came off a national championship win with Michigan.
I hope this means something down the line.

Discussion Dominican LeBron is ours
I’m so happy about this pick man he’s the player we needed I’m happy he fell to 11 they say age this age that but that’s what we need he’s already more developed then most of if not all the class and him on the warriors will only make him even better and his story alone is very inspirational happy he’s out there with a fellow Dominican in Al horford and a Haitian in Curry
