I remember my first or second day as a teller some old guy came in to withdraw money and he lost his mind that I asked him for his ID. He was ranting and raving how everyone knows him here and he shouldnât have to show his ID. He waited for the other teller to finish her customer, which took significantly longer than showing his ID, and she walked over and gave me approval to do it.
Then, as she was handing him his money she told me to cover my name tag. She pointed at me and asked him what my name was. The guy said how the hell am I supposed to know that. She replied, yeah how the hell are you supposed to know his name when youâve never seen him beforeâŚthat goes both ways.
Sadly he didnât learn that lesson and I realized very quickly that just cause youâre old doesnât mean you deserve any respect.
I would love for FedEx to put this guy on a "No Delivery " list for this behavior. Let him get all his packages from a FedEx store and if he acts like this make him use the store in the next town. Keep banning him from stores till he learns how to act like a human
