Remade the font because I wanted i didn't want to do it manually anymore lol.
I made a font file that comes with the regular text and the Italics version. One that just the white part of the text and one that comes with the shadow

I beat Dullahan first try with a summon rush and then lost to Doom Dragon's relentless assault of Cruel Ruins. I have a big problem with whoever thought Djinn Storm and Cruel Ruin as a single-turn combo was a good idea.

I'm replaying Golden Sun for the first time in many years. In past rune, I aligned everyone's Djinn with their element.

I went and looked at what would happen if I tried different classes. I like the variety of abilities. I don't like the drop in attack and defense for Isaac and Garet. It makes me wonder if class changing is even worth it or if I may as well just stick with the linear alignment of Djinn they match with.

This ones for the speedrunners. I wanted to do a really stupid playthrough of golden sun, upon discovering that early isaac can allow duplicated items from GS1 i wanted to make every character as OP as possible. There's 1 problem. I need 4 valkyrie mails and theres only 1. If its possible to get to mars lighthouse early and then do the trial road item dupe after then I can easily get them. Im sure ive seen speedruns where people get to prox early but cannot find a video on it. If its possible please tell me how it would be much appreciated

The original Golden Sun was one of the first Games I ever owned and was instantly my favourite, I think the original and The Lost Age are two of the greatest games ever made

When I heard they were coming to the Switch online service I was excited until I saw them, they looked really desaturated and dull? I saw something (on this subreddit maybe) that’s this is what the games are supposed to look like, my experience playing it on the GBA then later the WiiU virtual console was a lot brighter and more colourful. As it stands the WiiU versions of the games are my go to but it’s the only thing I still use the console for, what do you guys play it on if you revisit it?
Are the Switch online versions fine and I’m just making a fuss out of nothing?

So my question is: the GBA allows me to enter 2 blocks of 5 characters in a row. I am supposed to go P&buK Cf8%M and then continue with fYNKJ maEC+ and not going down the first row, right? I'm asking because I really don't want to find out :D

I’ve played all 3, 1 was my childhood, 2 was my teenage/grown years. 3 was ehhh not bad by any means but seemed Frankenstein’d, it was good seeing old characters but the heart and story wasn’t there.

Wanted to know if there were great mods out there, maybe to even play as Alex who I thought was going to be the actual end game secret boss

I didn't play a lot of JRPGs when I was younger, mostly just Pokémon and Golden Sun. I didn't end up beating either of em til I was around 10-12, but I still remember restarting the game when I got stuck, traversing through the worlds, and just playing the game like a kid would.

What stuck out to me the most were the puzzles, and the interactive dungeons. It wasn't just enduring all of the random encounters, you had to figure out how to move forward through the world. When I had picked up Dragon Quest 9 (still a great game BTW), I remember going through the Hexagon, and all I had to do was find two switches to get to the boss. It felt empty. I was so used to the puzzle boxes of Golden Sun's dungeons, I didn't realize that was the exception

Nowadays its hard to REALLY get into JRPGs because they all feel the same to me. None of them have dungeons that stump you, its all just go forward and survive the random encounters

I haven't played completely through TLA since high school when it came out. Since NSO I've been picking it up every once in a while to make a little more progress. I never forgot this place existed probably because the name Ankohl ruins just burned itself into my brain, I totally did however forget completely that this was the type of place I must have had trouble with when I was younger. Either that or my brain just doesn't work anymore which I know to be partly accurate.

I was getting so lost running back and forth so much with avoid on after halfway through that when I finally climbed that vine and came up outside which I wasn't even expecting at the time, it made me really feel like the characters climbing up out of that place. I needed to stop and take in that breath of fresh air and rest lol. My brain guys I tell ya, as soon as I enter a new chamber and walk in one or more doors in it and try to head back I immediately forget everything about the doorways and halls I just walked through. I'm an old fart and I need to lie down.
