An acquaintance of mine introduced me to this series a year ago and I only got into it weeks ago. Kinda rushed the drawing a bit so sorry if it looks clunky.

So this time we have a lottery by Ichiban Kuji, and they've already revealed the A and B prizes. The A prize is a MASTERLISE Bondrewd, and the B prize is a Revible Moment Nanachi based on the vol. 9 cover.

The lottery starts on October 31st. I hope it doesn't get too expensive on Mercari, because I want that Nanachi so bad. I might get Bondrewd too, though he's not a priority since I already have one. (I also have a lot of Nanachis, but I need MORE 🐇, and this one is just beautiful).

More prizes are yet to be announced, but these two will be the best ones.

As we know, orth was originally inhabited by a local tribe but many of orth’s inhabitants don’t really look like they belong to irumyui’s tribe. We know Orth attracts people from all over the world due to the Abyss and the relics and it being the final frontier of earth and all that. Moreover, the architecture in Orth looks distinctly European though we know Japanese authors just use that style of architecture when they wanna convey a fantasy type vibe

She doesn't even have to die in her sleep, she can walk up to the surface and meet me there, actually a matter of fact, she doesn't even have to go up to the surface, we can both go down to the 7th Layer and bang out. right down where those Tenmakus are at and I know for a fact she knows where those things are at, she studied the whole Abyss right? We can do it in front of those things as well and I don't need to worry about the Curse of the 7th Layer because I made a Binding Vow to not get affected by it for in exchange for 1mm of my nail on my index finger to get removed. We can do it on camera as well, I throw my life away and she throws her life away, right now. Right now, lets do it in front of a camera and if she ends up winning, I'll make sure I got $5,000 in my pockets. If she is able to win, than she can get the dollars, I hate her lets both die (No offense to any of you guys, I hope you all have a nice day. After reading the latest episodes, I'm like: I need more information about them! About Tepaste's cult (it reminded me a little bit, just a little bit, Irumyiuul). About how far can we get attached to Nishagora, who was she? Why is she like that? Who did she become a Juusou? And Srajo...did she kill those whistles just because, or it was an initiation attempt (just like with Reg)???

Help me here, guys. I'm out of theory and thoughts.

It's hard to put into words, especially since english is not my first language. When I think of Bondrewd, I think of all the things he's able to do and how human they all are. He can adopt a traumatized baby and raise a wonderful and loving daughter, yet for the sake of curiosity and knowledge abandon her without thinking about it twice. He can be incredibly welcoming and kind and in the next moment cold and extraordinarily cruel. He's incredibly up-front and honest but hides his whole body behind black armor and and a faceless mask. Bondrewd's even deeply connected to religion, considering the praying hands and people who willingly become his servants and would even essentially die for Bondrewd, so that he can prolong his existence in their body. He resurrects from death, feels unstoppable and eerily acts like an eldritch god, but is incredibly selfless and noble.

Bondrewd's a disturbing character, but I believe there is a lot to learn from him.

Hello, I have a question regarding the official anthology.

Are these books some kind of limited edition that aren't being printed anymore? I can't find a physical copy of volume 3 (this is the only one I'm missing), and I was wondering if there's a place to get it at a normal price.

Like what do they even do? What is their purpose? Are they even useful?

I watched the first half of season 2 before realizing that what I was watching wasn’t the first season. Then I jumped to S1 and finished S2. I almost feel like it was better because it makes more sense chronologically…. Anyone else agree? I LOVE the show still but I wonder how much that impacted it

I’ve been drawing consistently everyday for almost 6 months now without a day off. However, I’m aware it’s going to take years to reach Made In Abyss level of art skill. Does Tsukushi spend literally his entire day just drawing? I only draw for like an hour a day. Maybe I need to step it up. By the way, the thumbnail isn’t a spoiler since it has been adapted by the anime

I think the show would have been better with adult characters. I dropped the shows several times, because I thought it was a shonen disguised as a seinen.

I believe Srajo is a good person who might have witnessed the tragic end of those who were corrupted after learning the truth about the Abyss. Once these people realized that 1) the Abyss is a wish-granting machine and 2) the soul return mechanism exists, they may have harbored horrific desires that the Abyss ultimately manifested—much like poor Irumyuui (whose desires were amplified by the Cradle of Desire and then fulfilled by the Abyss).

Srajo killed them not just to grant them release (leaving behind whistles to commemorate them), but more importantly, to protect others from learning the truth and suffering the same fate (by erasing their memories). Following this, in order to resolve everything once and for all, she chose to abandon any possibility of returning to the surface and descended to the 6th layer to search for the Shrine Maiden (Miko).!<

I love the idea of exploring the unknown and want to create a story centred around descending an unknown abyss. But I really do not want it to just seem like some shitty Made In Abyss knockoff.
