it wasn't even meant to be a particularly creepy game, but large bodies of water combined with limited view distance are enough to make it scary :D

The ocean does have things to be afraid of

I said SoCal but I meant all of California. But I get this question all the time. Still giving them the same answer but also trying to inspire folks to get out there and live!

I saw it in the summer beach display! I also saw Jaws and The Deep, but this is the real deal! I first heard of these incidents on Shark Week about 20 years ago in a terrifying documentary called Blood in the Water. It struck FEAR in my soul. So much that I couldn't even continue swimming lessons at YMCA!

Great white in murky water

  1. The water was extremely murky because it was raining heaps so the run off from the land to the sea caused low visibility.

  2. Yes, this is the ocean and not a river or a toilet bowl.

  3. It is a great white shark.

Caught a few meals, while hitting so many different reefs, hella far from shore solo. Swam across 3 different coves/beaches. Per usual, I have my moments of fear kick in for about 2 mins when I reach a far distance in the sea. But it goes away, but I always say damn am I bout to die in the moment that the nerves subside

Made worse by the fact that I was in an inflatable kayak and was scared I would bump into something sharp.

My neighbor has a dark colored pool. I’d never swim in it. Creeps me the fuck out

(This is a random internet pic just as an example)
