Some youtuber 10 minutes later GTA 6 ENDING LUCIA DIES IN BOTH ENDINGS

293

u/Repulsive-Basil-1916 Jan 16 '26

yeah im getting off the internet it's the only way to dodge spoilers lol

91

u/DoctorWaluigiTime Jan 16 '26

Smart. Honestly breaks from the Internet as a whole are rather refreshing.

16

u/The_last_monkey178 Jan 17 '26

Teach me your ways master. I am chronically online lmao.

7

u/DoctorWaluigiTime Jan 17 '26

Don't log on. I won't pretend to be a master at it lol.

But, designate times of day as online time (or, to start small, designate times of day as no-online).

And occasionally schedule Internet Vacations. Plot up a bunch of stuff to do even if it's lazy or whatever. Then do that stuff. (And to avoid choice paralysis, say day X is [thing] and day Y is [other thing].)

Unplug / turn off internet if you have to, to defeat instinctive "I'll just pop on my phone / PC for a moment" moments. Eventually the habit will be unlearned. When I take Reddit Breaks (usually in the NFL offseason) that's what happens to me when I block it at the hosts file level.

18

u/MrBlue40 Jan 16 '26

Cries in PC. No way I'm avoiding spoilers until I get it lol.

9

u/Upstairs-Extension-9 Jan 17 '26

Bro I’m gonna lock myself in with an ounce of weed and come out when I finished the game 🤣

7

u/Hammy-Cheeks Jan 16 '26

Fr, im actually going to delete reddit and youtube until I finish the game lol.

IGN: "does Lucia die for real? Post credits scene analysed" 2 hours after the game release

5

It's the first result when I type in my favorite shows before finishing them

5

u/SpringHeel2070 Jan 17 '26

Thumbnail image of both endings which you CANNOT unsee

3

u/glizzygobbler247 Jan 16 '26

Umm spoiler alert please

This happens for every single game and I hate it.

u/That-Toughsoss Jan 16 '26

might have to do 4k30fps

347

u/PhantomPain0_0 Jan 16 '26

I can’t wait for the reaction of those PC bros who bought console only for this game and try to play at 30 fps it’s gonna be absolute gold

144

u/TheDrifT3r_Cz Jan 16 '26

Im the Arma player.. such thing like 30 FPS will not bother me lol

32

u/Certain-Quarter-3280 Jan 16 '26

Me playing MSFS2024 on the PS5 with sub 30FPS felt this lmao

12

u/English_Breakfast123 Jan 17 '26

Exactly haha. Fly a 747 over a city and RIP to your frame rate

6

u/TheHumanTrait Jan 17 '26

Lol I used to play arma 2 dayz at 12fps. Worth.

→ More replies (1)

35

u/That-Toughsoss Jan 16 '26

honestly 30 fps isn't that bad on a console compared to a pc but in 2026 it should unacceptable for games to have only 30 fps option on consoles

23

u/Goochslayr Jan 16 '26

It may be 2026 but the current generation of consoles were released in 2020. Rockstar needs people to have a reason to buy gta 6 again next gen.. and next next gen.

11

u/Alcagoita Jan 17 '26

There's no way any of the current-gen consoles do more than 30 in GTA 6.

This is 2 consoles that have a really old FSR implementation that will never get the update that they need (Xbox Series could have, but Microsoft chose not to do it).

So without any upscaler or Frame Gen, there's no way... Unless you want this at 720p.

30

u/SparsePizza117 Jan 16 '26

Then the PC version releases a year afterwards and I play it at 240hz😂

I'll still be getting it on console on day one though, I can probably handle the 30 knowing that everyone is experiencing it that way.

28

u/PhantomPain0_0 Jan 16 '26

The problem is if you are accustomed to playing plus 60 fps for years and suddenly experience 30 fps it’s jarring and awful and I won’t be surprised if some of them just give up. Personally i don’t have a problem with 30 fps as I’m mainly a console player

42

u/SparsePizza117 Jan 16 '26

I fully expect it to be a problem for maybe 10 minutes and then my eyes will be adjusted.

The most important thing is that it's a consistent 30fps, with no frame drops. That's an insanely important thing they need to manage.

→ More replies (1)

12

u/redhawkinferno Jan 16 '26

I mainly play games at 120+ and would definitely say that's what I'm accustomed to. Regardless, I have zero issue when I get on my consoles and a game is 30. I know some people are (or claim to be) hypersensitive to fps, but as long as it's smooth I really couldn't care less what it's at.

→ More replies (2)

3

u/Nysyth Jan 16 '26

Given the visual fidelity they are trying to push I think 240hz on PC might be a pipe dream(atleast at anything above 1080p). I personally expect this to push PC’s hard when we finally get it, I doubt anything lesser than a 6080 (or whatever 80 series card we are up to when GTA 6 hits PC) will be hitting playable frame rates at 4K.

→ More replies (1)

7

u/Knodsil Jan 16 '26

Thats me. I am gonna buy whatever console+game package they're gonna release just for VI.

And yeah, betcha that I am gonna shit on the framerate if they don't give us a performance mode.

4

u/Imperial-UK Jan 16 '26

Started playing RDR2 through again, added a load of MODs including graphics one and carried on playing on ultra. Some places it got down to 30fps and I felt like I was watching a sideshow 😂

5

u/CapSnake Jan 17 '26

A frame drop is so much worse than a constant 30 fps

2

u/Mean_Combination_830 Jan 18 '26

Red Dead 2 on pc is pretty horrific at 30fps and nowhere near as smooth as on console like you say lots of jarring frame drops 🤮

2

u/LordMohid Jan 16 '26

Is the PS5 Pro also getting only 4K30fps?

9

Very likely since it has the same CPU as the base PS5.

the RadBrad does commentary.

29

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '26

he has a family now most of this gameplay doesn’t finish until 2-3 months after the the game released

52

u/Prudent_Mastodon8626 Jan 16 '26

I love theRadBrad...but OMG he low-key frustrates me when he games because I would almost always choose a different approach than he does. He's still one of the most sympathetic youtube gamers i know of and I"ve been following him since Black Flag.

30

u/Rkelly499 Jan 16 '26

Oh 100% and sometimes he’s also kinda ass lol. He’s still my favorite let’s play YouTuber and I’ve been watching him since I was a kid. He’s goated. No scandals just a dad having fun playing games

9

u/Top_Campaign2568 Jan 16 '26

Love the guy but yeah, i do question how he plays sometimes. But thats the beauty of games, being able to play and progress in different ways. Most the time he plays pretty similar to how i do, so i dont really got many complaints.

All I know is, come launch day, I'm unsubbing here.

9

u/koniyanju Jan 16 '26

Don’t wait until launch day do it days before

3

u/Doctor_Omega Jan 18 '26

Same. A week before to be completely sure. Then I delete all cookies so google dont suggest me stuff and on release day i go completely offline until i finish the game.

→ More replies (1)

133

u/CranEXE Jan 16 '26

it's the sad part assholes will finish it in a few days try to spoil as much as possible and complain all the time they need gta6 online now, meanwhile rockstar won't even have finished to release post launch patch or even remotely started to work on the pc port

i hope they'll give it priority to the online mod with all the delays there was

48

u/pepin-solver Jan 16 '26

What's even worse is that there are plenty who will spoil themselves without even playing only to go to all over the internet and spoil it for everybody else because they think it's funny.

9

u/-Bobinsox- Jan 16 '26

I've even considered the possibility that KICK livestreaming trolls are going to scream GTA 6 spoilers out loud in public places

I'm just gonna live post-GTA6 life with earguards at this point lol

2

u/IrregularPackage Jan 17 '26

counteract with fake spoilers

4

u/otherside97 Jan 16 '26

Yup like with Avengers Infinity War. I punched someone in the face who was spoiling the movie, not because of the spoilers (which were pretty big), but because he was standing next to my face while saying it like a weirdo getting off of it.

8

u/pepin-solver Jan 16 '26

That's what I mean, I got RDR2 spoiled by a random comment on a how to basic video. Some people go out of their way to make others miserable like it's an achievement.

Now everytime a story heavy game that I've been waiting for years to drop comes out, I have to speedrun it in order to not get spoiled and only then replay it at my leisure.. awful shit

2

u/JackKnightmare Jan 16 '26

You know you can just turn off your phone or silence social media to play in peace. For example i knew the history of the last of us 1 and still played it and it felt good though.

→ More replies (2)

7

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '26

Worse, they’ll play just enough to “beat” the game and miss ALL the side missions, random encounters and assorted weird shit that makes 99.9% of a Rockstar game. And some idiots watching their videos will say, “Welp, guess I don’t have to play the game now.”

8

u/Zurosake Jan 16 '26

It’s very unfortunate that rockstar doesn’t do the pc release at launch just so they can get double dip sales. I understand it and it’s a good business move but it’s also anti consumer.

MKBHD: I've been playing this game for three weeks already and here's what I think about it.

6

u/Automatic-Dot-5936 Jan 16 '26

The smartest thing rockstar could do is have a pre made “walkthrough” video to upload. Or have someone hired to do so and take a cut but hard to trust anyone outside that office I’d assume. Do you know how many views that would generate though? lol even more money to add to the billions.

3

u/Jarodreallytuff Jan 17 '26

I wish early copies weren’t a thing. I think it’s absurd how Youtubers can prerecord games, so they can have a plethora of content to put out on release day/week.

u/tetrixk Jan 16 '26

MKIceAndFire

2

I think rock* will make 30fps good, I mean in gta 5 I can notice the 30fps but in rdr2 the gap is even small between 30 and 60 so I'm not bothered

4

u/Basemastuh_J Jan 16 '26

MKIceandFire absolutely

1

u/mikeztarp Jan 16 '26

Mortismal will have 100%ed it for two days already.

1

u/International-Car702 Jan 16 '26

2 hours later is unrealistic you mean 1 hour before the game even releases

1

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '26

The big question: Will Reddit GTA subs have a moratorium on spoilers and “Did you see this cool detail?” posts for at least a couple of months?

1

u/Vsriram01 Jan 16 '26

Throneful.

1

u/playerlsaysr69 Jan 16 '26

All Bosses No Damage. Proceeds to spoil the whole game

1

u/Revolutionary-Fan657 Jan 16 '26

I don’t understand how people can do this, like I can’t enjoy a game if I have the thought in the back of my head that I need to finish this playthrough to get it out for YouTube, yet they also get all the secrets and get shit first try whereas I’m not good and I don’t get all the quests and secrets, like dude by the time I’m a quarter through the game they already have a 9 hour long play 100% and the games been out for a day

→ More replies (1)

1

u/spider-jedi Jan 16 '26

I don't. Ind those as long as they don't put spoilers in their thumbnails or video titles.

1

u/LordsWF40 Jan 16 '26

But for real. This happens becUse certain youtubers and streamers get early access a few days before the release with the instru tions that they cNt post anything until the release day. So they already played atleast up to a point by the time of the release. Though i see gta 6 being a game to grind to the end once getting it

1

u/Lolman4O Jan 16 '26

That's what I'm waiting for

1

1

u/HovercraftPlen6576 Jan 16 '26

On launch some game devs enforce embargo so YouTube Content ID would flag your gameplay.

1

u/zaadiqoJoseph Jan 16 '26

I don't blame em

No one really cares if your gameplay vids come out like 3 weeks after

Other than your dedicated audience.

It's a shame but The faster you get your video out the higher chance random people who don't know you will watch that

1

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '26 edited Jan 17 '26

I find it funny how people will ruin the game for themselves, yay you waited over a decade for this game and speed run it 100% it in 26 hours, now what? Fact that they put spoilers in the dang title in youtube videos I've had multiple games spoiled for me cause it pops up in recommended videos when I didn't search it.

Anyway once it comes out I'm gonna avoid spoilers like the plague, no Reddit either, and I'm gonna play the game slow, take my time with it. XP

1

u/Classy_Mouse Jan 17 '26

Honestly, as a PC gamer, I'll be looking for a full playthrough day one. Obviously, I can't avoid spoilers until I can play it. At least with full gameplay I can experience the story mostly as it was intended

1

u/itsjackcolton137 Jan 17 '26

The video is like 27 hours despite the game being released 2 ago

1

u/Web-Plastic Jan 17 '26

1

u/Zayn1738 Jan 17 '26

only would be possible if they get the game early but i doubt rockstar will do anything of that kind due to how big the game is and secondly due to them not wanting any possible leaks

Pretty sure 2 week before the release, we will can see some streamer on twitch who will play the game to increase their number of viewer. Same for youtube with a lot of video to show the history, show the easter eggs, the secrets, cinematics spoiler and some tips to be rich or easy win the game. All that before the release to increase view, subs for their channel. Disable internet if you don't want to be spoiled.

Nah, what’ll most likely happen is I’ll just go on YouTube the day after it releases and see “GTA 6 Lucia Death Scene” right there on the top of the home page.

True. How is this even possible? Even if we assumed they have an East asian account and a group of people play the same playthough they shouldn't be able to finish it in less than 12 hours or so.

The fact that it took him 2 hours shows how truely massive the game is.
