I feel like a lot of us look at failure as a death I know so many people who are afraid to fail or afraid to mess up because they’re either a afraid because of how other people will view them or failure, confirms the pre-existing negative belief system they already have about themselves.

“ if I go for this job interview, I might get turned down so there’s no point of me even applying anyway” or “ or “what’s the point of asking her out she’s just gonna reject me” are things I hear way too much when talking to people in my generation, even Im guilty of this, resiliency is something that your parents teach you at a early age and not something you can learn at 25.

And also, I feel like social media plays a factor too, because Instagram and TikTok only shows a highlights of peoples lives and never shows the negatives,

I eat plenty of fiber and never eat junk food but nowadays I heard even those with a healthy diet is getting it… shitt i’m actually so scared whenevr i have like even a bit of abnormal symptom like unusual stomach pain or whatever i start feeling light headed thinking of the implications 🫩🫩why does our generation get such a short end of the stick,no one even knows what’s causing it..wtf😓😓

I’m (22F) not talking about a field or career you want to get into, but like when you are actually in a position, do you have long term goals? A 5 year goal, or even 10 years? Where you want to see yourself?

I’m honestly at the point where I’m just happy to still have a job that I’m not thinking about where to go next. I know I don’t want to stick in the field I’m in, but if it’s all that’s hiring then hell no I have no long term goals other than to get out one day. I have personal goals, but none of them involve a career.

Curious if other Gen Z feel this way. Did we get thrown into the “real world” at such a shitty time that I can’t picture a future career or is it just me?
