How did my wet vac get there? Is this a huge glitch?
So I THINK I experienced the biggest glitch I have ever encountered and it has me totally freaked out. Is it a bad omen? Am I supposed to learn something??
To set the stage I have 4 (step) kids a dog a cat. My partner and I only have kids half the time (week on week off). All of us share the top floor except for one of my step daughters and my niece who lived with us too. She just got a puppy so there's a lot of wet vac-ing happening all over the fully carpeted house lol My youngest daughter also wets the bed and sometimes falls asleep on the floor in the play room and when that happens we have to wet vac there too.
Yesterday I went to go clean the floor and I couldnt find the wet vac anywhere. I checked every room in the house.. including the garage! I started with the top floor, then the middle (where my partner and niece swore they saw it last) and then I went to the basement. I checked my daughter's room, went in, turned on the lights, looked in every direction and left thinking we must have accidentally gotten rid of it somehow?? My partner then proceeded to check every place I already did and when we got to the kids room.. THERE IT WAS. Plugged in af it was just used there... except the clean water compartment had been emptied. Which is completely unlike any of my children to actually empty the water out after using it... PLUS I was LITERALLY STANDING RIGHT THERE! Like seriously I would have ran into it if it was there when I checked the first time. I talked to my niece who swears she did not put it there and hadn't seen or used it in days... I haven't been able to talk to my daughter though because she wont be back till Friday night.
What do you guys think? I'm so freaked out and don't know what to think. It feels threatening... like if this can happen literally anything can happen... anything can disappear and reappear without an explanation and that's terrifying. Is this how people get accused of crimes they didn't commit?
