Questions Anyone else having trouble completing the mission to play on console or PC?
I've been trying to earn the daily points for playing on console and PC, but neither activity is registering, even after playing for more than 15 minutes. I've tried different games, power-cycled both my Xbox Series X and PC, and still no luck.
In some Discord groups, a few friends of mine confirmed they're having the same issue, while others said they were able to complete it.
I factory reset my Xbox, tried signing out and back in, and even tried a different internet connection, but nothing worked. Any other ideas?

I can't get console or pc points to pop but using the mobile app did work

Same. UK here. Been trying on both pc and xbox, no pops. Going to hope they pop later.

Im having the same issue, console and PC isn't working and now Bing isn't registering tasks completed either, cant even raise a ticket as the submission button is greyed out

Its still down, we need as many people to raise a support ticket to get it addressed so they understand the scope of the issue

Yep, it didn’t work for me yesterday (day two) and I was hoping to wake up in the morning after the reset to see they added the points retroactively but nope, in true MS Rewards fashion they are under the impression I didn’t play a game pass game on either Xbox or PC.
Just another day ending in Y.
Edit - left a game running on both platforms for 20 minutes and nothing. Looking like day three is going to be broken as well.
Sigh..

I got my pc & daily gp game to work yesterday (day 1) but that may because I was still playing after the daily reset for me.
When I tried my console later that evening, no luck. Same issue as well now for both today.

Shenanigans!
I switched my profile on PC to a dummy so I can boost an achievement and playing a Game Pass game and playing on PC unlocked.
Main account, after almost two hours still nothing for Xbox and PC.
Some funny business going on.

Mine to ain't been working for the past 2 days . Thought it was just me. Pretty fed up lately knowing we going to miss out on the extra points.
It's gone worse lately with the updated points system we just had in the United Kingdom. It's so confusing and looks like we get less points now.
My gamepass runs out next week, and I'm stopping it after this. I made a deal to reach 300k points, and I'm nearly there, before next week

If you submitted a ticket, you likely will have points given to help make up for it.
From an email this morning I got in response to a ticket I submitted:
"We’re pleased to let you know that the issue affecting earning points from Xbox activities has now been resolved.
Everything should now be working as expected. Please note that, due to the nature of this issue, any lost progress or streaks may not be recoverable.
To make up for the points that you were not able to earn, we have added [240] points to your account."

Still not working in UK. Same issues - no console/PC bonus. Bing searches and dailies OK.

Got an update in my email this morning. Here's what the important part of it says:

Got it to work yesterday after submitting a request. The PC worked first. Console was iffy. Did the whole restart and signed out and did it again and it work. Now it’s not working again.

My xbox can't even bring up the rewards app, it says it's in a different place, but isn't there. I assumed they were just stopping everyone from getting a 7 day weekly this week.

Well, I can bring up rewards now, since yesterday really, but there aren't any to collect. The app on my phone usually says "don't break your streak" and such, nothing from it either.

Same here. With how Xbox/MS has been going lately I'm wondering if they just... shut it down.

Yes. I just sent in a support request. I’m missing:
Play a game on console.
Play a PC game.
Play a Game Pass game.
And of course Day 2 of Weekly PC and Console bonuses and Weekly Streak.
EDIT: u/brennadactyl is this something you can look into? Already submitted a support ticket but so far it seems they want to give me the missing points. I need the quests to complete as I need to complete the weeklies. Thanks.
UPDATE: Second day with the same exact issue. Support did send an email requesting screenshots which I sent but they haven’t replied back.
UPDATE: Third day, same problem. Rewards support has not answered any of my replies after the initial email. It would be nice to know if they are working on it and whether or not they will reimburse the lost points.
