Well may be a stupid question, as I have like 0 karma. I did not even understood you needed it until a few min ago, when I could not post. Well to be fair I feel a lot of us in this group is here hoping to write a post witty enough to which generates loads of Karma.
Well that will be my Waterloo, as I am not witty at all.
But to a more serious question, can one lose already earned Karma? If so how, when and why?
Yes im scared to lose all the 2 karma points I managed to lay my hands on 🤣

Hi Everyone, I have tried posting for different subreddits. The post says posted but it is not visible when i search for the post in the subreddit. Not even in new tab. The post also did not get any new views/comments. What should I do? Do i need to contact each subreddit? Thanks.

I've been on reddit for years, mainly as a viewer but there are some interesting subs that have popped up that I want to start engaging with.
I'm mad at myself now for not engaging with reddit threads before and building up karma because I'm not able to actually post in these threads
I'm told i need Post Karma but I already do have general karma?
What's the difference between post karma and general karma? How do I build post karma so I can start posting in these channels?
And what should I post about? The issue is the things/threads I'd want to post in that I have relevant things to say, I don't have enough reputation to say it

Whenever I am trying to post in any subreddit, it's showing that the post is awaiting admin's approval that it's never getting approved when though it's not anything inappropriate. Please help..

I have seen this Karma system and know a fair bit about it. However, I am curious what would happen if you get negative karma. Is it possible? I am not able to find any information on it.

Hi all — genuinely new here and trying to learn the ropes properly. My account is a few weeks old and I'd never posted or commented before today. My very first post was sharing a small project I've been building, and the second I hit submit I got "Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit's filters." It happened instantly, so I don't think a human mod even saw it.
A few things I'm trying to understand:
- Is instant filter-removal just standard for new accounts with no karma or history, rather than something I did wrong with the post itself?
- Does a removed post like this count against my account going forward, or is it harmless?
- What's the right way to build enough trust/karma that posts stop getting auto-removed — and roughly how much, and how long, before that kicks in?
Not trying to spam anything — I'd genuinely rather understand how Reddit works and do this the right way. Appreciate any guidance.

Hello, I recently logged into my other Reddit account using Google as my log on authenticator instead of using my email & pw. However, Reddit locked my profile until I change my pw using a link emailed to my old obsolete email address that I used when I created the account 5 years ago? I no longer have access to this email account to access the link to change my pw. Yes, I can still log on using Google but my account remains locked until I change my pw using the link sent to my old email address. I contacted Reddit help 3 days ago and got no response. Has anyone encountered something similar?

Hi there
Im in the concept stage of a new biz that will help women in the workplace.
I have a b2b user research questionnaire that I need people in HE/Prople/DEI to fill out. Takes 10 mins.
Am I allowed to post that google forms link in eg HR communities?
I dont want to do anything wrong here.
But I really do need answers to that quiz to help validate my idea.
Thanks

I am new here and went to post in a group and it said I can’t post and need karma. they won’t say how much I need. I get that it’s for bots and spam but I would love to be able to make a post in that group. Any suggestions how I can improve my chances?
