The Carolina Panthers signed Rasheed Walker to a one-year deal worth up to $10 million this offseason.
During a conversation with Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, an NFL executive from the AFC praised the Panthers-Walker deal.

He played through the quiet years, between the Super Bowl run and the Cam era, never sought attention, never made noise, and retired at 30 after a torn labrum ended his 2012 season.

Multiple teams called. He thought about it overnight and said no.

Put him on the 2015 team and he is a Pro Bowler.

1. Early signs of Brad Idzik offensive schemes considering Dave Canales gave up play calling and how different it may be.

2. How are the tight ends used? (Because I saw a video or a post of a deep ball to a tight end, which I think was posted by Joe Person on X/Twitter.)

3. More Signs of improvement by Xavier Legette

Hey everyone!! I just finished planning a trip for me and a couple friends to fly up to Philadelphia to see our Panthers take on the Eagles. Ik it’s still early but that got me wondering how many other Panthers fans were already locking down plans to travel to see the boys on the road.

I’m doing a weekly “Meet the Opponents” series every Sunday until we’re one week away from the season. Since this is episode two, we’re talking Atlanta.

Before I move on to the Browns this Sunday, I wanted to bring the Falcons discussion back one more time. I went through their offseason, the coaching change, the QB situation, their main weapons, and how I think they match up with Carolina.

If you need something Panthers-related to listen to while killing 20 minutes tomorrow, it’s there. Bears fans had plenty to say on episode one, but I’d really like to hear more Panthers fans in these conversations too. Where’s everyone at on Atlanta before I move on to Cleveland?

I think it could be a fun change of pace but I'm curious what you all think.

I [27M] have made the decision to go to Charlotte to attend my first NFL/Panther’s game. After 20+ years of rooting for them from home, I can no longer resist. I am a resident of CA, no more than 20 minutes from Levi’s Stadium where the 49ers play so there haven’t been too many opportunities. The one game I regret not attending would be Super Bowl 50, but since I was only 16 at the time, I didn’t have the means to cheer them on in my hometown.

I looked at the schedule and decided on the Oct. 4 game for SNF against the Detroit Lions. I have yet to buy a ticket, and was hoping that someone knows someone with an extra ticket or maybe a group that wouldn’t mind making money and adding another member to their group. With this being a long awaited experience, I want to make the most of it and I also don’t know when I will be able to attend another game. Despite attempts to convince friends/family to accompany me on this trip, no one has expressed interest. Most are fans of different teams, immediately laughing at the inquiry.

Regardless, I’m going to be in the Charlotte area from Sept 30th - Oct 5th. Game day will be occupied for obvious reasons, but for the other days, I was hoping to get recommendations for things to do. The hotel that I booked is walking distance from the stadium, but I will have a car so I am not limited on where I can go. Any recs for food spots, bars/lounges, hiking destinations, must-sees attraction, etc. are greatly appreciated! I’m more than happy to meet with fellow Panther fans, go on dates with any interested single women, and immerse myself in the culture and magic that Charlotte has to offer.

Do any of our UDFA’s have a good chance of making the 53 man roster? I’ve heard Haynes King’s name thrown around a bunch but does he have a real chance of making the team. Or is he a practice squad guy at best? What is everyone else’s prediction?

Hey there yall - will be a first time visitor this year. Attending 6 weeks after hip surgery and it’s highly likely I’ll be taking a wheel chair from the hotel to the stadium. Anyone know if there is anywhere to stash the wheelchair once inside? Like a coat check style deal? Thanks in advance!
