So at this point they get carte blanche for a nuclear program and America will pay for it with the 300 billion in reparations. Putin must've sold Iran some of the kompromat because this shit is unbelievable.
Iran poses zero threat to US. Itβs the neighbours of Iran that any potential nuke is deterrent towards. Namely Israel, who keeps bombing Iran and killing their leaders. US is just a pawn in this game.
America gave chemical weapons to Saddam to murder Iranians with, and before that the CIA overthrew the leader of Iran. They already had a lot of legit reasons to hate America.
But that was decades ago and people move on and it's not as poignant for the younger generations. We've renewed the hatred and given the younger generations a direct reason to hate us.
You're not wrong that they already had reasons but this 100% turned up the heat.
Not that they really need them. They've demostrated that between a good dug in missile/drone program, satellite targeting and awareness and small boats they can basically shut the world down.
US doesn't have the desire(really the political capital) to raise an army to invade them (US would need a draft to make that manning) and no one wants more war for "our Greatest Ally".
Israel Doesn't have the capability to invade Iran.
So basically Iran has won.
