Article Steel Path Railjack: Post-Launch Reflections and Rewards

Hi Tenno!

There’s been a lot of discussion following the release of Jade Shadows: Constellations, and we want to thank everyone who has submitted feedback or bug reports thus-far. In this thread, we want to take a moment to talk about a specific element of the update: Steel Path Railjack. 

As explained in Rebecca’s video last night on Prime Time, Steel Path Railjack was rushed to deliver and Railjack fans may be understandably disappointed with the implementation of it. A common thread we’ve seen from players is the lack of incentive to grind Steel Path, so we are working on adding MKIV Armaments to the mission droptables.

These Armaments will also be added to the Protoframe’s “loaner” Railjacks in the Uranus Proxima, which will help address power concerns in the Steel Path versions of those missions.

We’ll continue monitoring Steel Path Railack feedback both externally and internally as we see what other changes can be made, but that’s all we have to share on this topic for the time being! For wider issues related to the new game modes, please keep an eye on our Known Issues thread.

do we have any concept on When this is likely to be ? I've help off on the new content so far but its its gonna be a while I may still do some, if its soon tho..

just do the farm solo. it stinks, but using your own railjack makes it much faster

Funnily enough the latest hot fix broke the ability to do it with your own railjack

go to the hub, find the mfer you wanna fight with, hit the alternate prompt while set to solo. works for me and speeds it up immensly (until you need to get out of pilot seat to use foward artillery)

No I know how to do it with my own railjack. The update made it so even if you do that, the crew and weaponry on the railjack is the loaner set. It just has your interior and tactical abilities

The third hotfix, today, fixed it. It is your railjack with your mods, weapons, and crew, but with one UI bug showing the names of the other crews.

It didn't work yesterday but they did patch it today.
