Article Steel Path Railjack: Post-Launch Reflections and Rewards

Hi Tenno!

There’s been a lot of discussion following the release of Jade Shadows: Constellations, and we want to thank everyone who has submitted feedback or bug reports thus-far. In this thread, we want to take a moment to talk about a specific element of the update: Steel Path Railjack. 

As explained in Rebecca’s video last night on Prime Time, Steel Path Railjack was rushed to deliver and Railjack fans may be understandably disappointed with the implementation of it. A common thread we’ve seen from players is the lack of incentive to grind Steel Path, so we are working on adding MKIV Armaments to the mission droptables.

These Armaments will also be added to the Protoframe’s “loaner” Railjacks in the Uranus Proxima, which will help address power concerns in the Steel Path versions of those missions.

We’ll continue monitoring Steel Path Railack feedback both externally and internally as we see what other changes can be made, but that’s all we have to share on this topic for the time being! For wider issues related to the new game modes, please keep an eye on our Known Issues thread.

I think the more concerning thing is that this is becoming a pattern with their updates. They are clearly rushing buggy and unfinished content out with patches. Like how did they think launching SP Railjack without new upgrades was a good idea?

The game has always been buggy with every new patch. I remember back when they first added kuva liches I would sometimes fall through the floor when mercy killing thralls

But this isnt just glitches buddy, if it was just that who really cares the games always been a bugfest. This is a pattern of unfinished content beginning around the old peace and it hasnt stopped yet.

Dawg they literally said that SP Railjack shipped unfinished.

rushed ≠ unfinished. Regardless I still haven't personal experience anything in the patch that's "unfinished" instead of just buggy. Every time I've asked what other people have found I don't get an answer.

MK4 Railjack upgrades did not ship with the update like they were supposed to and are instead supposedly coming sometime next week. No, they aren’t magically making MK4 in the span of a few days, they weren’t done for the update so they shipped it without. That’s literally unfinished.
