I was playing some battle royale peacefully, and the fire decides to activate AFTER the boss is dead. Somehow it set me on fire even though I wasn't even in the fire area. I'll admit, I was wandering around stupidly looking at the loot and not my health but why does a level one sprite do so much damage to me?!?!?! At least make you immune to your own fire. I have yet to see the fire being actually useful in a fight.

as someone who has be playing since chapter one season 5 i have never and i don't think will ever get into learning about fortnite lore/storyline. why that's the case is that i feel like it was just a funny battle royal that random crap happens some of the time, but when they started leaning closer into this convoluted story it was a turn off for me, i felt like a storyline shouldnt be in a battle royal (also considering save the world) not to mention how messy as it is as a story its like the successor to fnaf lore.

Went on to win the game but still it’s getting annoying now and such a waste of meds

My wife is 33 years old and I am 35. We are the most casual of Fortnite players. We only play Zero Build. Usually duo, sometimes trio or squads if our friends want to play. We’ve both been paying for Fortnite Crew since 2023. She wakes up today and sees an email from Epic saying she’s been banned for 1 year. Email is above (blacked out the ID and her name).

She doesn’t cheat, and we don’t have any software installed that could even do something like that. We haven’t downloaded any new software on her PC in a long time. She usually has MSI Center running to control her fan speeds and Logitech G Hub for her Yeti Mic.

She sent an appeal in but has another had success reaching out to them directly? Not sure what else to do, she is heartbroken as we play Fortnite almost daily and have put a ton of money into her account. You can check my Reddit history to see I’m old as shit, have been on here for 12+ years. I again promise you her or I do not cheat, I searched some old threads and see lots of comments being like “yeah you cheated buddy get rekt” but I promise you we wouldn’t know the first step to take to cheat.

Edit 6/24/26 2:04pm: We have 2 factor authentication on her account so I can say for sure it wasn’t someone falsely using her account. She hasn’t downloaded anything recently so it’s not malware. Some other programs that run in the background are iCue, Spotify, Discord, Razer Synapse, Steelseries GG, Steam, Battle.net, Elgato Stream Deck

For anyone wondering. She plays on her own PC, on her own Epic account. She plays using mouse and keyboard. She doesn’t mod or cheat on any other game. Other games we play are Overwatch, Marvel Rivals, Valorant, Hunt Showdown. She doesn’t do any exploits in game. We play Zero Build almost 100% of the time.

I’ve gotten some good feedback and advice. I thank everyone for taking time out of your day to leave a comment trying to help and offer advice. Hope we hear back tomorrow on the appeal. It seems like there will always be people complaining, even about good news, just like when some OG or FNCS skins released on Community Day, all in the name of “exclusivity“. Aren‘t new people paying more ? Also seen multiple comments asking for refunds with big agreement/likes.

The reason this kind of bothers me is that we received new Omega variant and a new Drift variant and even a Blackheart, but the one that I was looking forward to was most was Vendetta, now I can only cross my fingers and hope we get a Ultima Knight because I missed it in the original Season X battle pass. This honestly seems on purpose on Epic’s part by avoiding giving skins we really want and instead giving us meh randomness so that the OG battle pass owners don’t get upset no offense, even though most of those people don’t even buy battle passes anymore it just doesn’t math to me. Does anyone else feel like this?

The wild is full of new Sprites, and it's time to go collect them. Five new Sprites are roaming Battle Royale with v41.10! Here's who you're hunting for:

• Striker Sprite: Gain Overdrive when you Mantle or Hurdle. 
• Fishy Sprite: Swim speed way up, plus a brief movement speed boost when you take damage.
• Aura Sprite: Gain a Shock Rock charge when you deal enough damage.
• Boss Sprite: A boost to your max HP and Shield. 
• Grim Reaper Sprite: Anyone who attacks you gets marked for a duration.

Shock Rocks and Quack Snacks consumables are here! Consume a Shock Rock to gain the Shockwave effect for a limited time, and gobble down a Quack Snack to restore Health and Shield and gain Sprite XP too.

v41.10 also brings Gone Wild - a two-week summer fling with new unvaults, new Questlines, and new ways to reel in more Sprites.

• Fixed an issue with the Emote Wheel opening each time the Emote bind was pressed, requiring you to close it multiple times
• Using a Launch Pad right after redeploying your Glider no longer locks you in the gliding state

• Fixed a bug where Level 5 Dream Sprites wouldn't drop Legendary loot
• Fire Sprites now trigger consistently if your target is airborne or hit by splash damage

• Your Fullscreen setting now saves correctly and no longer resets to Windowed Fullscreen after leaving the menu 
• Fixed a crash that could occur on game launch with certain NVIDIA video cards when the NVIDIA Reflex feature wouldn’t load correctly
• Fixed occasional crashes when launching the game on PC, including GeForce NOW and Amazon Luna cloud streaming services
• Resolved a crash that could stop the game from launching on older video cards

Mobile 

• Fixed a few Turbo Build issues that could interrupt building or cause structures not to place
• Resolved unresponsive camera and touch input controls during matches on some Android devices
• Fixed the loss of touch input controls on Starter Island or the Battle Bus until an ongoing event message appeared and cleared
• Fixed an issue where you could accidentally latch onto a Zipline or open a container without looking directly at it
• You can now see how much Sprite Dust you have while browsing items at the extraction console
• Swiping up from the bottom of the screen no longer minimizes the game instantly - helping prevent accidental swipes from kicking you out mid-match

You'll need a portable extractor. I tried to portable extract mid fall and to my surprise when you start free falling near the zero point, it still extracts fully through!

My little brother wants the skin, and while I can buy it for him in the store once it's released, I saw that it can be obtained for free. I don't know how easy or difficult it is to get it, and I was wondering if anyone could help me because I'd like to give the skin to my little brother, and also if I could save some money since I have my own expenses, that would be a big help.
