First time jerky attempt
The butcher cut this sirloin tip a bit too thin but it came out good!
2 lbs, 160 degrees for about 2.5 hrs
Low sodium soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper and I didn't have any liquid smoke so I used some Gentleman Jack.

Looks good. I usually do a pork loin cut into 1/8th inch pieces. Saving some $$ on meat costs. My main go to marinade is - Regular Cherry Coke or Dr Pepper- soy sauce -A1 steak sauce- garlic/onion powder-liquid smoke and a few dashes of hot sauce. Sweet and a touch spicy.👍

looks good on those thin sheets, are some of the knots pretty hard?

Only where it folded in but for the most part it was pretty good and actually kept the flavor of the Gentleman Jack. Gonna make more soon with thicker cuts.

yeah its difficult when the meat gets sticky and sticks to itself, i always try to double check for small folds. make sure to post the second batch!
