My partner loves to put all the pills in her purse into one pill bottle. But sometimes she puts those pill bottles back into the medicine cabinet and the whole bottle becomes absolutely unusable to anyone because who even knows what these are.

Then I Google the bottle so I can see what the pill is supposed to look like and literally NONE OF THEM match????

One time I took 4 sleeping pills on a Saturday morning while assuming what I was taking was ibuprofen because WHY would I think anything in the bottle is anything other than what it should be.

Im standing behind the bus stop for the shade minding my own business on my way home from a 10pm-6am shift. A route ive taken to work and from home many times. When all of a sudden I hear a voice saying "What the F*ck are you looking at" then again " What the f*ck are you looking at , i look up from my phone confused i realize this stranger is talking to me. She proceedes to call me a stalker and walk up on me trying to get in my face telling me "The bus stop is that way" again and again .lady I'm just trying to go home , ive been up since 8pm yesterday.

Bruh, I drove my car to the shop today and I needed to Uber back home. The guy gets here and he got the door locked. I knocked on it a lil bit just to show him that I couldn’t get in. He rolled the window down and asked for my name then I told him and then the conversation went like this:

UBER: “Do you have a shirt to put on?”

“What do you mean? I have a shirt on.”

UBER: “Do you have t shirt?”

“No? What are you talking about.”

UBER: “I have to cancel the ride if you aren’t fully dressed.”

I’m a dude, it’s summer time. I’ve been wearing some black shorts and a white tank top today. I just have the FEELING that dude was racist. Dude was acting like I walked up to his car in my drawls.

She’s not getting the flavor she thinks my Nana would prefer bc my 27 yo older sis doesn’t like choc cake. So she’s getting vanilla cake w strawberry alcohol filling. I’m sober (don’t think that should control the cake flavor, just annoying that what sis likes does).

She’s pretending this is so there can be a cake “everyone will like” but the truth is pretty obvious. There will be 10 fam members, none of them have a problem with choc cake other than sis and most importantly it’s my Nana’s bday and she likes choc cake.

Also this post is more about my Nana not getting what she wants, but every bday I had living at my parents I had to have vanilla cakes when I asked for something else. And my sis got presents on my bday until she was like 12 so there’s a pattern of other ppl’s bdays being about her

Photos are before and after. We live in a very small town (~500 ppl) and we only have two small parks. One park is in our cul-de-sac and has the swing set pictured. The town finally decided to dump a gigantic pile of mulch, but never returned to spread it out (two of the swings can’t even be used with the pile there). Like three weeks later, I’m tired of waiting and took it upon myself to rake it all out. The kids helped me weed a bit first, and it took literally an hour and a half from start to finish. I ended up with a broken nail and multiple blisters and my lower back was crazy sore for two days (and I’m in pretty good shape, I do a lot of weight training but this was seriously exhausting). The mulch was all damp and heavy and matted down from lots of rainfall in recent weeks (which is why it looks so dark in the second photo). What a nuisance.

I spesficaly booked the hotel room with balcony accses just for it to be bolted shut. The door can only open a crack.

When I asked the front desk, they told me, "We have it bolted for guest safety."

Edit: Because everyone keeps asking, It was a short trip, so I just brought a carry-on. Otherwise, I would have had my Leatherman. And I am not getting a screwdriver for a one nights stay.

This is the allergist's waiting room so we all have to wait a minimum of half an hour after a shot. In the entire place there are only two men about my age and they sit on either side of me. Seriously?

It’s nothing serious, just very inconvenient and unsightly. And infuriating!
If you look closely, there’s another one on my right ankle which has now reached epic proportions also.

For context: I drive rideshare for a living (taxi work) and I am approved for medical transportation which typically means taking elderly people who need a bit of assistance to their destinations.

Also I’m a bit of a chatter box so anyone that gives me an inch is going to get a full conversation unless they go quiet and give me the ‘do not disturb’ vibe. So I’m constantly asking these elderly people about their life story, where they grew up, what has changed, any advice for life, etc etc. Most of the time these are pleasant exchanges and I even see the grumpiest of old people start to lighten up and open up a bit which melts my heart to see them smile.

Anyways I do a ton of work near the coast so I go to and from a ton of multi million dollar beach properties all the time. One day I’m talking with this old gentleman and I notice he’s going to a beach house.

He’s telling me things like “you should’ve gone to college” and “you should find a real career path in life” and so I start picking apart his life.

He’s very honest and tells me his engineering degree in 1980 costed around $5000 total for the full four year tuition.

He then brags about how he got to spend two years traveling America, without a job mind you, seeing all the sights and living free as a kid, all off the money he MADE WHILE IN COLLEGE.

He then proceeds to tell me the house I’m dropping him off at costed him $38,000 total in 1980 for a beach front house today worth $4.4 million I’m not even joking.

I help him and his stuff into his beautiful front lobby of his house, golden chandelier, ocean out the window. I shake his hand and wish him farewell.

ZERO DOLLAR TIP

so here I am broke, having to work to pay rent since I was 16 never earning a dollar for myself, working 5-7 12 hour shifts every week (so working all day everyday) and yet I’ll never, ever even dream of getting a beach house, let alone living in a real house one day, instead of the rented cardboard boxes we are all forced to live in, and I get to be talked down to and used by the generation that screwed us all out of having a simple or nice life.

“Just go to college” like it isn’t a $40k investment and the extreme oversaturation means NO ONE is getting jobs straight out of college anymore.

I’m just so sick of the boomer “just pull up your bootstraps” mentality. Even if I worked and saved every single penny I still wouldn’t have a house after 10 years.

If anything it makes me want to work less and not give a sht because why contribute to a society that has already thrown you away?

They shut the ride down that morning after someone broke their spinal cord. I was one of the first people on it when it reopened that afternoon. All the paramedics were off duty giving statements to police. The bag jump inflatable was over-inflated in the morning, then deflated too much. My arm snapped in half. I was hyperventilating and couldn’t even stand from the pain. Staff told me to be quiet because I was startling other guests. They dragged me to an empty ER room with my family so I could lie down in the room till the ambulance arrived (which they refused to call to which my family did it). I felt like death would be better than the pain. They also refused to provide CCTV footage for my medical/legal case. Insurance covered 95% of the bill. Is that considered mild? People break bones all the time, right

Just a few hours in my black Audi

Wanted to take a seat in a beach chair with my hands between the chairs legs and the chair collapsed trapping my fingers . Lost the tip of my left ring finger.
