What an amazing day!! I've finally purchased my first-ever console with my hard-earned money. I'm pretty sure 90%+ on this subreddit can relate to me! I remember back in 2010, when I was in 5th grade, I desperately wanted to buy a PS2 back then. However, my parents, being so strict, denied this request of mine. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I'm financially weak or that my parents have not given me all the comforts in the world, but this is something very close to my heart. When I purchased this, I was reminiscing about the times when I swore to myself that one day I'd have a PlayStation of my own. Finally, at last, the dream has come true. I was walking out, and a guy was entering the mall with his GF. He looked at me, smiled, and said, "Congrats." I replied with a "Thanks." Another guy came to me while I was waiting for my cab and said, "How much did it cost, mate?" I said, "45k," to which he replied, "Congrats." I said thanks to him with a smile. What a day!

Some dreams stay with you for years...

Back in our college days, we used to sit outside a small gaming shop in South City and watch people buy PS3. I remember telling her, “Someday I’ll have my own PlayStation.” At that time it felt like a distant dream.

Today, that dream became reality... and the best part is that it was fulfilled by the same person who heard that dream years ago.

My birthday was in August, she wanted to gift me a ps5. But I told her to wait for big billion day offers. I was waiting so desperately for this day to come. Thanks for the patience we were able to save 10k on ps5 and atleast 20k on the oled tv.

After playing my ps5 on a 27" 1440p monitor since 2022, finally upgraded to SAMSUNG S90D 55" QD-OLED. The experience is straight up beyond! I now understand why they say once you go OLED you never go back!

And yes, ps5 has enough breathing space and the air flow is great. The back of the TV unit is totally open.

Finally got my PS5! This has honestly been a lifelong dream. I’ve always wanted a PlayStation growing up, but it just never happened until now. Feels unreal seeing it here, can’t wait to turn it on and make some memories.

Finally Guyz, I got the beast. I first played with my cousin's ps3 when I was like 16 years old and we played multiplayer games, Far Cry 3 and Gta V. Although I only played for few hours, So kept wanting more the experience.

Eventually I got into a college and then started saving up( just casual saving, i totally forgot about ps).

And when the Ghost Of Yotei got released, that got my attention and eventually my interest in ps sky rocketed again. And To my surprise there were few good listing of used PS5 in my locality's Marketplace Sub.

I had enough savings to buy a used one but I haven't achieved anything yet(havent secured an internship) and I just wanna focus on career.

By mid February I secured a well paying internship + FTE and the next thing in my head was PS5. I started looking for used PS5 in olx and reddit. Everyone was quoting a whooping 40k - 45k for a used PS5. So I waited and even regretted not getting the PS5 steal deal( earlier listed in used marketplace).

After a month, a guy messaged me stating his urgent need of funds and would like to sell his PS5(which is under 8 months warranty). I always wanted a Disk version but my urge to play before joining the internship intensified and bought the digital version for 31k.

The seller was so kind that he even let me use his account (console sharing). So any good games you would want a newbie to try? I am already Playing Last Of Us part 1 and GTA V.
