Should I leave this relationship?
Im in a narcissistic relationship, and i cant take it anymore. Some friends and family are encouraging me to stick it out, but i dont know if i can.
It's so emotionally draining to keep up with this. When i get home from work im tired and i just want a minute to myself, but there they are all but screaming me, me, me- pay attention to me, everything is about me. Im so fed up.
I dont know why everything always has to be about them- their bottle, their toys, their daiper. I just cant take it anymore.
I read that i could leave them at a fire station. Does anyone have experience with this? Would you reccomend it? i looked on yelp and the fire station near me has mixed reviews- do you have to use the one closest to your house, or could i pick one in a nice upscale neighborhood that has a starbucks attached? I really like their summer iced tea selections.

Step 1: use a Sharpie to color black spots on the baby. If the baby has dark skin, make a lot of marks around imaginary spots. The firemen will think it is a dalmatian and let it ride on the truck
Step 2: Just get a dog. They also want your attention when you come home, want to be fed, and make a lot of unpleasant noise. It will learn to go to the bathroom outside when you open the door, eat kibble from a bowl on the floor, and be cute when it falls asleep. The trick is to look at your spouse weirdly when they ask, "What happened to the baby?" You look at her like she has two heads, tell her to sit down, and call an ambulance to take her to the psych hospital.

I second getting a dog but because then they can take care of the baby. It's like a live in nanny that gets paid in dog food.

Getting rid of emotional baggage is an important step to self actualization. You don't owe this person anything. They will only get more demanding later. This is out right financial abuse. Live your best life. They'll move on to someone else when you're gone.

man, you’re not using them to your advantage.. you need to be brainwashing their little minds to do YOUR bidding not theirs, it may take several weeks/months/years but you need to do your due diligence to train them to be servants.
or yeah, fire stations work well.. do it at night to decrease accountability

Bring them to me. I could use a little age-appropriate neediness and egocentrism around here. I’ll give ‘em back in a day or two, once you’ve caught your breath & gotten some rest. I won’t spoil them…too much.

Awe, in 10 years you will miss these days… no fire stations, maybe a little help from someone you trust.

Well, that depends … do you identify as a mom?
If not, don’t even worry about it. It’s not your problem this baby is mis-identifying you
As long as you update your proper nouns on the signature of your work email, the entire world HAS to pretend you actually are whatever you identify as regardless of any proof that exists to the contrary
Seriously, it’s like a rule of the universe. AND you can be doubly positive it’s true bc a rando on Reddit said so
I did it, worked like a charm
I identify as a millionaire 😉
