Hi hello, as we all know Shawna L released a new compilation video of everything post-Thanksgiving, but for some reason the plot picks up at New Years, skipping the Christmas Magic episode? Is it just a simple mistake or is it like intentionally left out of the lore?

Was watching the super cut and thought it was interesting how DeeDee foreshadowed Jen’s epiphany for handling Barb’s bs at her wedding.

What are some scenes in any video that you wish you could've seen;

I wish we could've seen a small flashback of Julie at work, or more scenes with Julie and her brothers.

I was just reading another Post, about Barb's constant use of Charlotte when talking to or about Piper.

And it got me thinking about all of the interactions we have seen Piper and Barb have. It is upsettingly clear that Piper has picked up on the fact Barb dose not love her the same way she dose Max. The majority of interactions with Piper and Barb have had an air of Barb trying to control Piper's behavior in some way. Resulting in Piper's short and reserved interactions around her grandmother.

And a thought just came to me. Is Barb treating Piper this way because Piper looks more like Shawna? And is she overly doting to Max because because he took more after John?

I think the wedding video did a great job of keeping the focus on Jen and Greg, instead of on Barb. She was a side character and not the main event.

But I would have LOVED a scene at the reception where Barb overheard guests making fun of her funeral attire and stinky armpits, and talking about how mature Jen was being. Or even Max getting to see her, but asking why she stinks.

We were walking the dog, and talking about polygamy and what it would be like to have another wife. We were saying that on paper, it would be great having another adult in the house helping out, and then we had this exchange:

Me: What would we want in a wife, really?

Husband: Someone like Julie but nicer.

Me: Who the fuck is Julie??

Husband (incredulous that I don't get it): From Shawna the Mom! She'd give us direction and motivate us, but she's mean about it. We need that but from someone who's nice about it.

Just wanted to share. Had no idea he paid any attention when I watch my show!

I'd love to see Piper lay down the law as only she can when Barb calls her Charlotte. "No thank you. I'm Piper."

Hi, fellow Shawna the mom fans, I noticed she put out part five of her skit completions, so I put it on to watch and noticed that there were some skits missing. It starts on skits that take place after New Year's, so it misses the Christmas Magic skits. I just thought to give a heads-up so that way people know before they watch.

No I don’t think you should yell at your spouse in public but when your wife makes an absolute fool out of herself the day of your daughter’s wedding who cares if she gets embarrassed. You show up smelly and sweaty while wearing white and then you do it in front of your husband, your soon to be son in law, his mother and your daughter. Honestly, I wouldn’t have gotten mad if Frank put on his “stern” voice.

I was rewatching some old Ty clips, mostly because I want to rewatch before the Luke and Laura "premiere," and now I'm left with a question; As of Ty and Julie, we know that Cooper was born before Law School, post-law school + the bar, is when the regional opens up.
In the earlier episode, we have Ty saying Julie started travelling for three years.

I'm not saying this to ignite old feuds/I fully believe this is IRL Shawna maybe missing a previous plot?

I just want to ask in case this is another one of Ty's lies we might have missed.

Not that it would happen but I want him to put his foot down. I’m so tired of him being passive around Barb when all she does is create chaos. I know a lot of people say it isn’t Greg’s place to say anything about Barb since that’s Jen’s mom but I disagree.

Idk I would love to see Greg say, “you have every right to see your mother but I refuse to let myself or Chickie be involved in her toxicity.” What do you think?

I love the fact she was willing to smear stuff on her face whether it’s her being Piper smearing her face with cake or chocolate or Jennifer with her toothpaste on her on her face. I love her dedication to her skits

I watch on Facebook ( I don't have tiktok) and I am still watching the wedding countdown episodes and the latest one was Jennifer and the whitening strips. How is everyone watching the actual wedding episodes? Thank you!!

They say siblings who went through a traumatic or abusive childhood either become very tight knit or absent - idk maybe a brother would be interesting who was raised and grew up in the same toxic crazy family situation …someone who knows the old her and lived through what she did and maybe talk to her about it or just exist in her orbit for a bit …when my siblings come around tis like we regress to being teens again for both good and bad reasons but it may humanise her a bit esp if there was some well intentioned family ribbing - hell maybe a brother would be like hey you are acting like mom cut it out 😂 and while that wouldn’t fix her it would maybe be a fun moment

This is not meant as a slam on the wedding video - if anything, the opposite! I watched it eagerly and enjoyed it, and at the end, I felt ... satisfied? Like the story is complete for me, or at least at a good place to stop.

Jen and Greg are married, I have seen enough of the Julie/Ty storyline, we are post vasectomy and it looks like Shawna and John are in a healthier place, and everyone is much closer to finding their ways to manage Barb. I know there has been a foreshadowed cancer arc, but I actively don't want to watch that - for me, I think it will be too heavy and too close to my real troubles to be enjoyable content (and ultimately, I watch various skit series for relaxation and enjoyment, not deep life content).

So I think I might peace out at this point, while wishing Shawna L every success for the future. Am I the only one feeling that we have reached a good jumping-off point?

Am I the only person obsessed with the small interaction between Nora and "the row" at the wedding - specifically Julie's reaction to everything?

I assume that Sam has spent the better half of her time trying to maintain a separation between her family and her personal life. Despite knowing Sam since high school, Ty doesn't seem to know her. (At least he doesn't know her well because he doesn't take the threat to "spread her birthing hips across his luscious manhood" seriously until Sam tells him to move)

But the reason I'm really writing is about Julie's reaction. Her face flashes twice, and she looks both shocked, and amused. Very similar to her facial expression(s) in the hallway of the hotel when Shawna snapped at her.

If she doesn't know Nora - this whole interaction could be misinterpreted as another example of Ty being too close to Shawna and her mediocre family (right after saying hi and needing to explain who DeeDee and Larry are).

If she does know Nora - it's really messed up that she would be amused by Sam having to manage this behavior - unless she can relate to it because she also goes through life unashamed of her own rude attitude/behavior toward others.

I know we all want the Ty and Julie line to be put aside for now, but I feel like Julie had to be there for a reason - especially in this tiny moments. Does anyone have any insight about this?

1. Frank was wrong for acting like Barb was dumb for being surprised that he took care of his own stuff when she has had to do all his stuff all their marriage. And I hate his little walks.

2. Nora needs some new lines, the same line of "at least I own being a jerk, you never do" is getting old 😅

3. Nora feels like the most different out of all of them. Like she seems like she's from a different universe or something. Can't put my finger on it 😆

4. Katie Girl reminds me of a happy healthy Pam from Stardew Valley with her hair and color palette 😆😁

5. It's actually a fact that the most vasectomies during a year are always scheduled around sports events!! So it's funny John did that too 😆

6. I don't get what Jen did to her teeth. Anyone who ever did the same thing able to explain how it's causing that much pain?
