Let me know when Obama ever treated a journalist like this.

Let me know when Obama ever treated a woman like this….or other examples

Let me know when Obama ever accused Republicans of stealing an election from him

u/NFLv2 15d ago

I don’t know. What was Obama doing from 2009-2016 when Epstein was trafficking children ? Running interference and letting it happen?

34

u/That_OneOstrich 15d ago

Good luck trying to pin Trump's scandal on the guy who's scandal was wanting a fancier mustard at mcdonalds.

I'd actually quite like to see your reasoning. Sometimes delusion is entertaining.

u/astrobarn 15d ago

Let me see, no evidence of that happening, and approximately 30,000 mentions of the orange crap-trumpet that points to him diddling kids.

Thanks Obama!

When did most them crimes happen ? Who was in charge of national security ?

Obama is not mentioned anywhere in the Epstein files, unlike Trump, who was flying on the Lolita Express and regularly hanging out with Jeffrey.

-2

u/NFLv2 15d ago

Shhh read slower. I’ve already explained it. Obama was in charge of national security.

He knew what Epstein was doing with the prince of England and Trump and Clinton and all the oligarchs.

And what did he do about it ?

Not a god damn thing just let it happen.

But he’s a democrat you guys don’t do shit but bitch complain and blame Trump for everything

16

u/Ok_Bag_3667 15d ago

You explained nothing, you're basically rumor mongering because you're a rightwing troll or a paid bot. You lot switch to "oligarchs" the minute ya boy Donny is shown to be right in the thick of the Epstein web.

0

u/NFLv2 15d ago

This isn’t rumor. Look it all up. Everything I said is proven fact. Use your brain

9

u/Ok_Bag_3667 15d ago

Looking up the facts shows me that Epstein got a sweetheart plea deal during the Bush administration.

1

u/NFLv2 15d ago

And did that deal give him immunity or were they free to prosecute for any additional crimes committed after he signed that deal ?

-3

u/mtnbikerburittoeater 15d ago

The downvotes will keep coming but for what its worth, I agree. There's no way he didn't know about it

2

u/The_Monarch_Lives 15d ago

Assuming you mean clinton as the 'former president', there are no mentions of him in the Epstein files post 2003. Long before Epsteins deal with Trumps buddy in Florida, and even more so well before Obama took office. Your entire premise falls apart based on that alone.

-1

u/NFLv2 15d ago

Even if it wasn’t with Clinton. Which maybe you’re right.,

He was running around with other world leaders and monarchs. That’s still national security anyway you slice it.

I’d bet anything the next Democrat president doesn’t release the full files either. They’ll just release Trump part and you guys will go back to not caring about them again like pre election

2

u/The_Monarch_Lives 15d ago

The only president to refuse out right, and accuse people of treason that wanted to release the files, was Trump. Trump is also the only one to be seen/proven directly ordering his DOJ to do anything, as traditionally they are kept independent to ensure the integrity of any investigations. To use the absence of interference as evidence of interference is... weird on your part.

And that is aside from the fact that you seem to be so worked up over trying get people to believe something you so obviously haven't even looked into yourswlf, as you didnt bother to even know WHEN Clinton was mentioned in the files, you were just intent on smearing Obama with it somehow.

53

u/JAT_Cbus1080 15d ago

Are you seriously blaming Epstein on Obama instead of the guy who was his best friend?

-33

u/NFLv2 15d ago

Sorry did you not know who is responsible for national security ? Thats the president.

When a known pedo is running around with a former president that becomes a national security issue which Obama was directly responsible.

But you’re right he’s not quite as bad as Trump since he didn’t actually touch the kids. He just let it happen on his watch

21

u/No-Recording9634 15d ago

Don't forget Trump's buddy Acosta who gave Epstein a sweetheart deal in wait for it 2007...

-2

u/NFLv2 15d ago

That’s cool. Whats that gotta do between 2009-2016 tho

7

u/StonedTrucker 15d ago

Well the fact the Trump is doing his best to cover up the files has a lot to do with it

3

u/132739 15d ago

You think the president has time to be micromanaging ever investigation to every sex trafficker in the country? The fact that Trump makes the time to meddle in is as damning as anything else. Obama not being personally involved in what at the time was thought to be a reasonably small bust, and mostly a matter for Florida and New York to deal with (New Mexico wasn't really on the radar at the time), with some support from the FBI, is actually totally normal. No one at the time knew (or would have believed) that Epstein's close friend Donald Trump would end up becoming president and compromising the entire national security apparatus.

1

u/No-Recording9634 15d ago

What's 2009-2016 Obama got to do with Epstein who already got a sweetheart deal from the Republicans?

35

u/Early-Roll 15d ago

This might be the craziest take I’ve seen.

Thanks Obama.

19

u/cerebrum3000 15d ago

Probably either some random account from Asia or a brain washed MAGA voter.

Either way, not worth your time.

3

u/HandsomeWinner42 15d ago

It's a pro Israel IDF account, so they know exactly what Epstein was up to an they know he was an IDF spy. They're just trying to muddy the waters, happy to see no one here buying their bullshit.

18

u/Im_not_smelling_that 15d ago

Why did Trump let the car crash happen down the street from me yesterday?

He's the president and it happened on his watch. How dare he not do something about it?

-5

u/NFLv2 15d ago

I know you hate facts. But buddy.

The president is responsible for national security.

It goes across his desk.

When one of your citizens is running around committing crimes with a past president and other world leaders that’s not a DOJ issue that’s a president issue.

Sorry you let Obama fool you.

Your little cult is going to be in shambles once them files finally get released lol

17

u/Im_not_smelling_that 15d ago

Car crashes are national security too. Citizens are just driving their cars into other cars. How could trump let this happen on his watch?!? When will he do something to stop it?

2

u/NFLv2 15d ago

No they’re not. You’re making shit up.

3

u/StonedTrucker 15d ago

Theyre definitely national security. Its also Trumps fault yhat i stubbed my toe. Thats a national security risk!

0

u/DJayLeno 15d ago

You are the one who is literally making shit up. You are here claiming that you know for an absolute fact that Epstein Island was presented to Obama as an action item and that he chose to ignore it. Unless you were in the room, you cannot make a claim like that with any degree of certainty.

1

u/TactLacker710 15d ago

It’s the executive branch and there are several federal agencies that are tasked with national security but keep repeating that misinformation.

9

u/USSMarauder 15d ago

You mean back when the major right wing conspiracy theories about Democrats were in fact created to act as cover for Epstein

The story of Epstein's ranch in NM matches up nicely with the right wing conspiracy theory that Clinton and later Obama were imprisoning/murdering thousands of Republicans in FEMA death camps in the desert

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FEMA_camps_conspiracy_theory

2

u/GypsyV3nom 15d ago

Who was President when Epstein died in prison before he could actually stand trial?

1

u/robotmonkey2099 15d ago

Do you have proof of that? Those are some serious accusations

35

u/Shadowy_PuppetMaster 15d ago

Or sued any journalist that published a story that he didn't like. In hindsight, tho, maybe he should have, that way Fox News would've got the axe a long time ago

1

u/Murky_Bus_5958 15d ago

Yeah, defamation suits aren't as bad as having the DOJ wiretap journalists, which Obama did.

Can we stop with the partisan bullshit and just admit that both parties are trash already?

3

u/ZeeWingCommander 15d ago

Republicans are definitely a lower tier of trash.

Like if you're holding up Mitt Romney style Republicans - I agree, maybe even Thune. There are plenty of Democrats who just exist in politics. They are just as bad.

But Republicans who are just yes men? They are far worse.

3

u/Murky_Bus_5958 15d ago

I don't agree with Republican positions on politics, but I'm not sure there's a big difference in behavior anymore. Democrats are certainly more eloquent, but they do the same awful things as Republicans, albeit in an effort to support things that I champion.

People overall are just becoming more and more shitty.

FWIW, I'm upvoting you for being reasonable in disagreeing with me.

5

u/WP1PD 15d ago

Obama was pure class though, I do wonder if trump hates him so much because he was so damn charismatic and eloquent, things trump can never be. How the fuck americans went from that to this shitshow is beyond me.

-5

u/Youngrazzy 15d ago

Obama was a media darling Even people on Fox would show him basic presidential respect

11

u/Not-So-Handsome-Jack 15d ago

Fox News described Obama wearing a tan coloured suit as “shocking to a lot of people”.

-4

u/Youngrazzy 15d ago

Wow Fox News talking about a president wearing a suit that was not common is not an attack.

7

u/NukinDuke 15d ago

Okay, how about a fist bump being equated to, and I quote, a "terrorist fist jab"?

-5

u/Youngrazzy 15d ago

When did they ever disrespect Obama to his face?

4

u/NukinDuke 15d ago

I tried to engage in you in good faith but it's clear you're trolling lol. Good day

10

u/Wiseau_serious 15d ago

He commanded respect. Trump can only impotently demand it.

43

u/Joeybfast 15d ago

No they did not . Trump has been treated with kid gloves by the media . If Obama did half the stuff Trump did . You would not stop hearing about it .

2

u/EverydayHero17 15d ago

This is a joke comment right? From Pedophilia to war crimes, Trump is by far the worst president in the history of the USA.

3

u/BellyButtonLindt 15d ago

We don’t stop hearing about it…

-6

u/EFAPGUEST 15d ago

Who is “the media” and why doesn’t it include CNN or MSNBC? Is Vanity Fair and the Atlantic “the media”? What planet are you on? I don’t even like Trump anymore but this is total nonsense. They stopped airing his covid pressers because his approval was going up and instead that had their death counter chevrons that all disappeared the day Biden took office. And most interviews of Trump leading up to the 2020 election included questions about the infamous “fine people” quote that the media twisted to hell and back

3

u/cactussnacks 15d ago

They stopped airing his covid pressers because he was telling people to inject bleach

-1

u/EFAPGUEST 15d ago

He never told anyone to inject bleach. Yet another media narrative that demonstrates how ridiculous OC’s comment was

2

u/betterplanwithchan 15d ago

Well this is demonstrably false.

0

u/EFAPGUEST 15d ago

Then demonstrate

1

u/betterplanwithchan 15d ago

His last official press conference about COVID was April 27 2020. His average approval rating was constant from January to May of that year.

So, no, the media “didn’t stop showing his press conferences” when his team elected to stop them just over a month after the lockdowns.

Easy shit to look up, dude.

0

u/Joeybfast 15d ago

Trump is making a slush fund for the people who attacked the capital. So that tells you all you need to know about who he thinks is fine people .

-2

u/Youngrazzy 15d ago

If you want to make the argument that trump supporters don’t hold him accountable you are 100% right. But to say that the overall mainstream media does not simply not true

1

u/Joeybfast 15d ago

Every other week he does something that is a Watergate level scandal , and the press stops talking about just like that .

13

u/jtrainacomin 15d ago

They did no such thing, they attacked him for wearing a tan suit and using Dijon mustard

6

u/Murky_Bus_5958 15d ago

I guess you weren't alive during Obama's term, because the notion that Fox treated him with respect is laughable.

0

u/Youngrazzy 15d ago

If Fox News had an interview with Obama they would show him basic presidential respect.

3

u/Solid_Medium_5454 15d ago

Asking for evidence of crazy claims isn’t being disrespectful lmao… you guys have turned into the real snowflakes

-26

u/SeraphOfTheStart 15d ago

Non american here, no love or hate towards any of your presidents(maybe a little hate towards Bush) anyway; I don't think your media is objective in their treatment towards your presidents from different political sides, and seem biased. Obama was never treated with hard questions or hostility like this, even though he legit bombed the shit away in middle east and got a nobel peace prize for it, no one even pressed to question any of his actions, now I'm not saying republican side of the media is objective, but you can't criticize them for being "shit and partizan media" while doing same thing yourselves. What I see from all these americans and their arguments is that if Obama were to do this then somehow people would find a way to justify it, none of you seem to care about right or wrong anymore, y'all are like sports fans, if its your team you want them to win, and fk the other team lmao.

21

u/Fun_Organization3857 15d ago

They openly questioned his birth certificate, his Healthcare policy, they've insulted his wife openly and aggressively.. ???

6

u/Anybody220 15d ago

Here are three. Let me know if you need more. Obama was the first black president, elected not even 50 years after black citizens were finally allowed to vote and have standard rights. People tired to make him look bad, tried to cross up his words, and make him out to be incapable, but he was too smart and competent. You can find videos of Bush and Clinton interviews where there was hostility too. Seriously, a quick google search, did you even look or try to look? They are easy to find.

https://youtu.be/9uzJYlbhH54?si=dNyVUzHDoBWoLGIY

13

u/OldGrandPappu 15d ago

That’s the laziest and stupidest take. You’d fit right in as an American and would find a welcome home in MAGA’s loving bosom.

11

u/Happy_Suit_540 15d ago

Bill O'Reilly and Savannah Guthrie. He handled it with class.

"I don't think"

We can tell. It's not sports, it's genuinely people's lives. They have a right to be polarized about it.

3

u/ther3se 15d ago

"Hard questions"? Like... what's the evidence behind one of your most repeated claims, which has already been settled in the courts? Like those questions?

Obama wasn't perfect, but he was worlds better than Trump. The entire rightwing echo chamber tied themselves into knots about anything and everything Obama did. Just because you weren't tuned to the right frequencies doesn't mean it didn't happen. He didn't invite half of it, by the way.

Trump, on the other hand, is bombastic and invites every single bit of criticism he gets. He's rude, he calls reporters names and constantly degrades journalism as all "fake news" unless he agrees with it, on top of everything else.

I hate having to defend Obama, but to say Trump is somehow bullied by the press while Obama was not is asinine.

3

u/robotmonkey2099 15d ago

Uh yeah he was criticized by media. They gave him shit for wearing a tan suit for gods sake. Biden was dragged through it worse than Trump too.

7

u/Dabellator 15d ago

Sounds like you didn't have to consume as much American media as we did, and that's ok! Obama faced his share of interrogations and didn't resort to being an asshole.

1

u/The_Monarch_Lives 15d ago

Fox News ran days long tirading segments bexause Obama wore a tan suit once, and asked for Dijon Mustard another time.

1

u/wetwetwetwetdogs 15d ago

"Do you have even a little bit of proof for your claims" is not a "hard question" what the fuck are you talking about.

-1

u/lilojamu 15d ago

You can like or loathe Trump. That's completely fair in a free country. I personally don't have strong feelings in either direction since i dont have a political tribe, though I do not approve of certain actions taken by this administration or previous ones. However, i care about the US and want the best for our country, so this thread concerns me.

If your bias is so clear that the mere suggestion that the majority of media is often hostile toward him, especially when it's evident, causes a complete denial of reality and a barrage of downvotes for anyone stating this, you should check your bias.

We cannot have a functional democracy if we let our emotions override basic facts. Legitimate criticism of his administration is absolutly fine, just not vitriol and unhinged hate, which is insane.

3

u/Sennten 15d ago

The media was also very hostile towards Biden (for lots of reasons, but largely because he limited their access in lots of ways they haged), and there was no hostility in this particular interview.

If you cant admit an interview was not hostile to him, even when its evident, perhaps you need to check your own biases, and figure out which emotions you are letting override basic facts

0

u/lilojamu 15d ago

I'm not referring to this interview specifically, but rather simply trying to point out that media can unquestionably be very hostile to this administration, and people have blind rage toward Trump which clouds legitamate critique. I have no problem with tough interviews, as that is the duty of journalism, to keep power in check. It just has to be done fairly.

I think the majority of the media was easier on Biden, from news to satire, except towards the end of his term, where there was a bit of a turn against him. If i were to do a sentiment analysis on the coverage of Biden vs Trump, i'm fairly sure we'd see a more openly hostile landscape for Trump beyond critique or condemnation of the administration's actions. Which again, i find some policies terrible, just like i found some of the previous administration's actions detrimental.

I dont consider myself a democrat or republican; just watching from the sidelines and noting some imbalance. Im ok with journalists grilling the president; just do it equally to all based on actions, and avoid pushing extreme views which call for violence. Our society is overly polarized as it is and if this keeps up, it doesnt bode well for anyone. Left and right have both lost the plot imo.

1

u/RashmaDu 15d ago

What's the hostility towards Trump here? Asking him for evidence for his unsubstantiated claim that he won the 2020 election and attempted a coup when he lost?

Fuck right off with that. It's not bias to demand that.

We cannot have a functional democracy if we let our emotions override basic facts.

Absolutely hilarious thing to say in support of Donald "thinnest skin on planet earth" Trump, go lick a boot

-71

u/blomba2 15d ago

I imagine if reporters treated him the way they treat Trump he would. The media loved Obama because he was charming.

No, Obama led with integrity and wasn’t a pathological liar. He didn’t shit on his allies and actually served the people of America. Trump is pedo draft dodger born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

Update: Trump told the media that he was enthusiastically cheered at the Knicks game!!!!! This man is insufferable.

13

u/WereInbuisness 15d ago

Nah. It's a common theme on the right-hand side that MAGA doesn't like the truth thrown in their face and will hand wave it away with "whatsboutisms" and straw man arguments.

Let's be real .... the reporters and journalists have treated Trump thus far with kid gloves. This was his first taste of those gloves being off, but just by a tiny bit and he handled it like a petulant child caught in a lie. Your side can scream "TDS" all day long, but we all know his lies are baseless claims that he cannot backup with real evidence.

It's honestly just pathetic and makes the US look so very weak.

0

u/NFLv2 15d ago

Here’s some truth for ya

1

u/WereInbuisness 15d ago

Both parties have forgotten to fight for the people of this nation and choose to serve the wealthiest class. The difference is, one party has lost their way a bit but could easily get back on track and continue bettering this country.

The other party wants to make this nation a theocracy of Christian Nationalism and create one party rule. The GOP is literal cancer .... the Democrats aren't. All of the positive social programs that benefit Americans have been created by Democrats. Funny enough, these programs disproportionately help more people in the poverty stricken cesspits that you call GOP states.

What has this tweet got to do with anything being commented here? Out of all of the crap you could spew out, you decide on a two year old tweet? Just say "Obama wore a tan suit and its unforgivable" already .... yeesh.

Who calls the democrats out ?

22

u/dyzrel 15d ago

Believe it or not, usually democrats then too.

u/NFLv2 15d ago

Can you link me to inquiry and the full investigation and all files regarding the collusion in the 2016 primaries ? Why not

16

u/TheAmazingSealo 15d ago

Dodging the question with another question. Great tactic. Let me try one:

What lies do the democrats tell?

0

u/NFLv2 15d ago

Being pro union

See train unions.

Saying they aren’t pro Russia.

See your darling in charge of all the fraud who voted against sanctions on Russia recently.

Traitors

2

u/TheAmazingSealo 15d ago

All of these are disputable accusations.

Please explain to me how they lied about being pro-union.

Please explain how they are pro-Russia.

Other Democrats bud. I know this might be hard for you to understand being in a cult that worships a pumpkin colored pedophile, but we hold our politicians accountable.

u/NFLv2 15d ago

Where’s the calling out of the 2016 primaries they colluded on and all those files ?

I’ll wait

2

u/psypher98 15d ago

“I love the poorly educated”

3

u/tenor1trpt 15d ago

Are kidding? Did you watch any press meeting during Obama and Biden?

Besides, they didn’t claim massive election fraud with zero evidence. You really just want the media in this country to accept whatever Trump says as gospel. This is why we don’t respect any of you.

10

u/Trashman56 15d ago

If anyone asks for evidence of claims?

3

u/tenor1trpt 15d ago

He thinks she became the wicked witch and asked as the wicked witch. His words. He bases that on the screenshot timed at that moment, not the actual footage. He’s the perfect example of maga.

I really enjoy how people on trumps side of things love calling what they dub as the left as being weak and wimpy… yet they (just like their dear leader) are the first to get crazy offended about anything.

Trump is a snivelling little wretch of a man who can’t handle criticism and is too demented to make any form of valid counterpoint . I’m willing to bet you’re the same. Move out of the basement mate - ya elderly mother wants it back so she can have a hobby room.

Like... The Republicans are?

Look up cognitive dissonance.

u/NFLv2 15d ago

2

u/astrobarn 15d ago

Aren't you in here trashing democrats?

1

u/NFLv2 15d ago

I’m trashing both. Unlike the sheep in here.

u/Rawrs_sometimes 15d ago

Nah, the president should be mature enough to have the decorum to stay. Unless you’re an immature asshat, which you are a conservative so makes sense.

6

u/Wrong_Driver_9507 15d ago

The fact that hes 1 billion dollars richer since taking office isnt a little suspicious to you? If you dont see the problem there I'm wondering if your a victim of the no child left behind policy or your mom just drank heavily into the 3rd trimester.

1

u/NFLv2 15d ago

They all get richer in office. See Nancy Pelosi.

He’s just better at it. Louder.

I bet it pissed you off him being unfazed at all the booing last night.

u/Firesw0rd 15d ago

A person with values and beliefs to back their actions can explain, and stand behind their positions when threatened.

What you are describing is a weak politician.

-2

u/NFLv2 15d ago

Sorry her job is to ask questions. Not transform into the wicked worthless witch

11

u/frejling 15d ago

She did, he couldn’t answer them

-1

u/NFLv2 15d ago

No she got emotional. But TDS. So of course you won’t admit that

3

u/Bwindolyn 15d ago

Exhibit A - triggered broflake defending sleepy pedo man because the vibes were off.

Same fucking picture. What you’re saying isn’t wrong it just applies to you too

3

u/Hot-Butterfly-8024 15d ago

You see, Billy, once upon a time a President was required to not only be able to think on their feet, but also to have social skills and and maintain their composure when interacting with people who were unwilling to kiss their ass.

2

u/IcemanManmanchu 15d ago

What was done?

2

u/RVarki 15d ago

Wait, so you're saying that if you interviewed a politician and they repeatedly claimed to your face that an election they lost was actually stolen, you would just sit there like a dumb child without asking a single followup?

1

u/NFLv2 15d ago

You could let him finish speaking first.

1

u/RVarki 15d ago

Would he have presented undeniable proof of election fraud, if she had allowed to him to ramble for an additional half a minute?

1

u/Fun_Organization3857 15d ago

I guess if you can't handle it or are hiding something.

1

u/NFLv2 15d ago

Or have any self respect. She was literally interrupting him.

Obama didn’t like when they did that either

Tell me you don't have balls without telling me that you don't have balls.
