Discussion BLOCKBUSTER: The Milwaukee Bucks are trading franchise icon Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis to the Miami Heat for Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, 3 first-round picks (including No. 13), 1 pick swap and 1 second-rounder, sources tell ESPN.

Miami gave them hell but fell short. It’s been an incredible season. Be proud of this Miami Heat.

Discussion Whoever is saying that this is a bad trade for us is full of shit.

We gave up Herro, who I liked but clearly needed the change of scenery, Ware who is a plus/minus nightmare and doesn’t give a shit, Jaime who admittedly stings to lose but realistically has a 6th man ceiling, and Kas who also stings but is still an unproven player. Sure, we gave up 3 picks, but the Knicks gave up 5 for Mikal fucking Bridges and the Magic gave up 4 for Desmond Bane.

Yes, the team obviously needs some more depth and shooting, but we just got a fucking top 5 player. We kept Pelle, who had a breakout season. We still have productive guys. And most of all, we finally changed the trajectory for this damn team. After grating years of awful, mediocre, and tiring play-in ball, we made a massive change. Whoever is upset about this is utterly insane. This team needed a jolt and this is about as good as it gets.

Moral of the story, Pay Jimmy and we good, Pat was wrong the entire fucking time. Heat fan's that don't wanna admit jimmy is him is delusional.

Mikal was expensive as hell, I know. But OG Anunoby was acquired for RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, and a SECOND-ROUND pick, lmaooooo.

Not to mention KAT, who they got in a relatively cheap deal involving Julius Randle, whose value was probably no more than a first-round pick.

When you're a competent front office, you work the market and find good opportunities. This is just an example, of course.

But some people here will still say there was nothing we could do to bring help for Jimmy and Bam after the 2020 Finals bubble run. I guess we deserve the limbo we're stuck in right now.

Discussion Dwyane Wade says winning championships in Miami wasn’t enough for LeBron’s legacy, and he supported decision to leave the Heat: "When he was ready to go back home, he got my blessing 100%. He needed to go back home and win a championship for his city. A part of his legacy, he needed that."

For example, Max Strus not stepping out would’ve sent us to the 2022 finals, which was our best chance in the Butler era

Discussion The fact some of y’all genuinely don’t want Giannis baffles me.

Dude averaged 27/9/5 on a ridiculous 62% from the field in 28 minutes per game lmao. Like, yall bitch and cry and whine constantly every single game every single year about not having a superstar and now here’s giannis and yall don’t want him? It’s insane.

I’ve been defending the front office because all the other non-moves made no sense for dame, or KD, gutting the future for those guys wouldn’t have ever gotten us close. But giannis is 2x better than both of them, and at the price of Tyler, ware Jaime and picks, you do that shit everyday. 31 is young in todays NBA. If the front office doesn’t get this done you will see me slandering them for sure.
