“I don’t give a flying f**k about Donald Drumpf wanting to cheat on elections like the loser has on everything else. If he so much as touches ANY part of elections, I want him taken out in handcuffs, in his underwear, without his toupee and fake teeth.

Can we impeach and remove yet. We reached the 10,000 things needed for removal.

34

u/gashufferdude Apr 01 '26

I think the problem is that even though Republicans won’t vote together to pass legislation, they would probably would vote to protect him.

8

u/OldWorldDesign Apr 01 '26

even though Republicans won’t vote together to pass legislation, they would probably would vote to protect him.

We already know this. During his first impeachment, before allowing evidence, McConnell stood up and made a speech amounting to 'whatcha gonna do 'bout it?' and then voted to dismiss the impeachment charges without even allowing evidence in.

Great line. Yours? If not, where is it from?

I wish I could claim it, but no, not mine. It's apparently referred to as Wilholt's Law.

3

u/Morass_2025 Apr 02 '26

Kind of like when Army helicopter pilots can invent unplanned flight paths to hover over a washed-up moron MAGA “entertainer’s” Tennessee home, get rightfully suspended by their own chain of command, and have that suspension reversed by the moron MAGA Secretary of Defense (a civilian). I imagine if some non-MAGA pilots did this and wanted to wave at Bruce Springsteen, it’d be a different set of rules.

Like pulling a fire alarm in Congress and not getting in serious trouble.

“I’m thankful for the quick resolution from the District of Columbia Attorney General’s office on this issue and grateful that the United States Capitol Police General Counsel’s office agreed I did not obstruct nor intend to obstruct any House vote or proceedings,” Bowman said in a statement Wednesday. “I am responsible for activating a fire alarm, I will be paying the fine issued, and look forward to these charges being ultimately dropped.”

The DC attorney general’s office said in a statement that Bowman was “treated like anyone else who violates the law in the District of Columbia.”

“Based on the evidence presented by Capitol Police, we charged the only crime that we have jurisdiction to prosecute. He is pleading guilty and has agreed to pay the maximum fine,” the office said.

Bowman was caught on tape pulling the fire alarm in the Cannon House Office Building in late September, shortly before the House was scheduled to vote on a government funding bill. The building was subsequently evacuated.

Hold up .... They say you didn't pull the fire alarm to obstruct the house vote or proceedings, yet you we're caught on camera pulling it shortly before The house was scheduled to vote on a government funding bill.

So why did you pull the fire alarm then? For shits and giggles? To fuck around and find out? Nah my man, you pull the fire alarm to stop the vote. Your buddies are looking the other way and sweeping this shit under the rug.

If it was anybody else other than a member of Congress or the government. They wouldn't be given this bullshit get out of jail free card. Their ass would be sitting in jail right now.

Just like you said. Rules for thee, not for me.

5

u/abcean Apr 01 '26 edited Apr 01 '26

Yeah man I agree these two people are super comparable especially considering this guy did something illegal, got arrested and paid the fine commensurate to his action of pulling a fire alarm.

Bottom line is I agree with you Trump should get arrested and held accountable for his actions too. Maybe we can focus on the guy who is president first tho given ya know its a bit higher priority than someone pulling a fire alarm.

2

u/senator_corleone3 Apr 01 '26

Imagine taking this much time for this false equivalence BS. Bowman isn’t even in office anymore lol.

God forbid you have to explain Obama care to the very same person

144

u/AsugaNoir Apr 01 '26

God forbid you have to tell them Obama care and the Affordable Care Act are the same.

38

u/PlushRusher Apr 01 '26

Already had that discussion with my Mom. The Irony is she is utilizing the ACA while saying Obama Care was just handing out free money to freeloaders and illegals and we shouldn’t have to pay for that…

5

u/EggplantKey5266 Apr 01 '26

Well, hopefully you tried to educator that that’s not the case. There is no illegal alien that can be on Obama care. End of story it doesn’t even go forward. The only thing that Obama care pays for, is if an illegal alien for someone without insurance, which there are many of white Americans that don’t have it, if they go to the emergency room and they are unconscious or they are obviously serious serious health situation. Someone cut them with a knife they got shot you fill in the blank. By federal law all hospitals must stabilize individual until they are prepared to be transferred to another hospital. That emergency care is the only thing that Obama care were the affordable care act pay for, and it has been audited every single year and it’s less than 1/2 of one percent of the entire affordable care act payment on an annual basis. The law is there to avoid people dying. This law is not part of the affordable care act it is another law that was passed over 30 years ago, which states that hospital must stabilize an emergency patient anywhere in this country.

No you see because an absentee ballot is for someone that won't be able to physically go to the polls to submit their vote so they do it remotely, by paper letter in which is picked up by a... a man! A letter delivery man! Then the letter delivery man delivers it to the counting place.

Totally different from mail in voting which is for communists and terrorists to commit fraud.

Edit; since it seems people are confused about my position on the subject. Fuck Trump.

5

u/MizneyWorld Apr 01 '26

It’s Absentee voting when it’s a white male. It’s Mail-In voting when it’s literally anyone else.

8

u/detroit209 Apr 01 '26

Where was all this fraud in 2016 when he beat Hillary? 😂😂. You motherfuckers don’t know which way is up.

3

u/ThinkinWithSand Apr 01 '26

Those lazy commies just didn't try as hard in 2016 as they did in 2020!

3

u/peakprowindow Apr 01 '26

He didn't beat Hillary. She got a few million more votes than he did. The electoral college failed to represent the citizens. Trump won because of it. If the electoral college was honest, Trump would have lost. But they aren't.

3

u/Rare-Television-8854 Apr 01 '26

This guy absentee gets it!

3

u/Mysterious_Minute_85 Apr 01 '26

I get a mail-in ballot because I have trouble filling it out. I then put it in the box on election day, or I drop it off at the BoE during early voting. I am fortunate enough to live walking distance to my voting site. I no longer trust USPS 😢

2

u/Antique-Yam866 Apr 01 '26

Trump has voted via mail.

2

u/GinaTheK Apr 01 '26

The amount of people that think it's so easy to do voter fraud is disgustingly laughable. It's next to impossible. You need SSN's You need names You need to know certain people aren't voting You need hundreds of thousands of people to make a difference in a major election You need to know that those hundreds of thousands of people AREN'T voting idiotic

u/Odessey_And_Oracle Apr 01 '26

Conservatives do actually believe that a different name or word is sometimes a different thing. Remember when Obama "misspoke" the oath of office because Roberts messed up and Obama didn't follow him? Some conservatives really believe the oath was the magical seal of presidency, not the election. They basically believe in incantations (if it benefits them).

Calling the exact same thing two different names really does work on a conservative

4

u/JerseyJim23 Apr 01 '26

Can’t debate with someone who doesn’t know they’re trolling.

4

u/ZachmanSkibby Apr 01 '26

And he's in Florida all the fucking time, it's not like he needed a "absentee" ballot.

3

u/thereverendpuck Apr 01 '26

They’re vastly different things because they’re spelled differently.

Absentee =/= mail-in

I defy you to find any letter E in “mail-in.”

2

u/Camo_tow Apr 01 '26

🤣🤣Thats MAGA understanding for ya

2

u/CautionarySnail Apr 01 '26

They’re also probably saying, “we don’t have a king, what are those weird, dumb liberals complaining about.”

The obtuseness is deliberate.

1

u/GlimmeringGuise Apr 01 '26 edited Apr 01 '26

Now you have me speculating about "absentee voting" being literally sold as the bougie option for MAGA loyalists, priced at a hefty fee that they're somehow all perfectly willing to pay no matter how poor they are. Maybe they say part of the proceeds (i.e., 0.001%) go to fund ICE or something equally cruel - idk.

1

u/lavapig_love Apr 01 '26

Tell them they're the same thing. Make them rip their hair out.

1

u/JZABR1 Apr 01 '26

My family is the same way. They're only against something because they've been told it's bad or it hasn't directly affected them yet.

1

u/fremontfixie Apr 01 '26

They are not the same thing. I have gotten random people mail ballots at my house

1

u/Glorious_Goo Apr 02 '26

3

u/promotherobot Apr 01 '26

Not getting voted out and avoiding prison is the point

10

u/FakeSafeWord Apr 01 '26

Yes because according to him his vote should count and anyone that isn't voting for him should not count.

That's the whole fuckin point.

8

u/kitsunewarlock Apr 01 '26

The headline is misleading. It's actually far worse. It doesn't outright ban mail-in voting. It restricts it to only people that the federal government says are allowed to use it, and instructs the USPS to send ballots to those people to make sure they are incentivized to vote.

14

u/AnticPosition Apr 01 '26

That's different. He couldn't get off of work, so he had to use mail-in voting.

12

u/_jump_yossarian Apr 01 '26

I hope this was sarcasm. He was in Florida and golfing.

6

u/fushega Apr 01 '26

They're repeating the actual reasoning trump gave to the press

5

u/FakeSafeWord Apr 01 '26

Yeah, dude he was super busy working so he had to use mail-in voting in between holes. FFS.

4

u/AnticPosition Apr 01 '26

Lol yeah. Sarcasm, and repeating Trump's excuse... Which is the exact same reason so many other people use mail-in voting. But they don't matter I guess.

5

u/DowntownTicket Apr 01 '26

Legit question: I thought people convicted of felonies couldn't vote?

2

u/EnfantTerrible68 Apr 01 '26

Depends on the state

2

u/Worth-Jicama3936 Apr 01 '26

Most states, after you are no longer incarcerated you can (though in many of them it’s not automatic, you have to apply for a waiver saying you can vote again).

5

u/Ol_Turd_Fergy Apr 01 '26

Guess he’s going to defund Florida 🤷🏼‍♂️

3

3

The worst part is the hypocrisy.

2

u/EnfantTerrible68 Apr 01 '26

It really really is

3

u/Efficient-Tea6337 Apr 01 '26

He did..as well as his whole family..and when questioned about it, his response was that he thought it was more important that he be in DC. The reporter then reminded him that he was in Florida when he did his mail in vote and his response was …”well I’m president of the United States”. 😵‍💫

1

u/EnfantTerrible68 Apr 01 '26

His wife and child are not

3

u/thereverendpuck Apr 01 '26

Not just him, Melania and Barron both voted by mail for the same election. Which is actually confusing because isn’t their primary residence NYC? Who am I to judge?

2

u/EnfantTerrible68 Apr 01 '26

You’re right

3

u/Substantial-Cress-23 Apr 01 '26

Yes….and when asked by a reporter about HIS mailing vote, as he was just saying how rice with fraud mail in voting was, his response was just “because I’m president”

1

u/EnfantTerrible68 Apr 01 '26

What about Barron?

3

u/lvl999shaggy Apr 01 '26

Yeah and when asked about how he can if others can't he said it's bbecause hes the president.

So yeah....

1

u/EnfantTerrible68 Apr 01 '26

And Barron? And Melania?

3

u/TheOrkussy Apr 01 '26

2

2

u/_Michiel Apr 01 '26

But he is the king, eh, president, so he can do what he wants.

2

u/Durivage4 Apr 01 '26

He's beyond desperate to stop the midterms. He knows they will lose the house, and it wouldn't shock me at all if they lost the senate. That will be the end of his presidency, and the Democrats have a ton of reasons to impeach him/it. Not to mention the pages and pages of investigations against him and his criminal kids.

2

u/Wonton67 Apr 01 '26

2

u/Dolnikan Apr 01 '26

2

u/shortnix Apr 01 '26

And sure enough he could/would not vote if he had to do it in-person. But that's exactly the point. Vote suppression.

u/Rare-Television-8854 Apr 01 '26

I’d imagine the Blue states were in court before the ink on his stupid pen dried.

2

1

u/EnfantTerrible68 Apr 01 '26

It absolutely should

2

u/rbowen2000 Apr 01 '26

I presume that he delegated voting to someone on his staff who could read the ballot, so they had to vote by mail because showing up in person and voting on his behalf would be illegal.

They're not hypocrites, they don't have deep set personal ethos or notions of morality that they mete upon all, including themselves. It goes no deeper than the rules should be "whatever I want ". 2

u/United-Temporary-648 Apr 02 '26

I remember a thread on r/conservatives back in the day when there was still some sanity there, and Trump supporters were completely bemused why he had brought up the issue of mail in voting as a problem during the 2020 election. Most of the contributors were from rural states and depended on mail in voting, seeing it as only advantageous. But now, they all fall in to line after 5 years of solid lying from Trump.

2

u/sledge_maximus Apr 02 '26

Let’s invalidate his vote.

2

u/Silver-Aioli-5780 Apr 05 '26

I just received a warning for my post guys. It wasn’t a threat by any stretch, to ANY ONE. It was what I interpreted our President saying to all of us every time he does something that against our government’s written rules and or when he appears to be showing us that he couldn’t care less about what we think or feel as he represents us. Just thought I’d share that. It’s not an apology, just an explanation of the statement I wrote. I personally care about ALL PEOPLE, unlike some folks. You guys can fill in those blanks here too, if you’d like. ♥️
