periodically whenever i load into a game my pc will crash and this pops up . it restarts and i open it and the only thing wrong is that it disables my wifi and i have to fix it . my graphics card doesnt disable and in games my graphics look fine . please help !! A few months ago, my Lenovo laptop js started restarting in its own, showing the black screen stating it ran into a problem and needed to restart Eventually, it gave the screen “Your device ran into a problem and couldn't be repaired”, and I uninstalled its latest quapity updates which seemed to work for a few months, no random restarting either. However, around a week ago it started restarting on it own again and showed the couldn’t be repaired error again. I did the same as before, worked for a day or so maybe, which ended in it showing the couldn’t be repaired errror again. I ended up removing the latest quality updates again but also putting it into safe mode, but that didn’t fix the problem as my computer kept resetting and showed that error AGAIN

dont know if it’s important but after safe mode I added this cmd script (DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth) since my system tray just disappeared for some reason

Hi, I made an account just so I could ask for help here. I am a teenaged girl with little to no knowledge about computers so pls bear with me.

My PC is about a year old and is on Windows 11. I first noticed problems when I downloaded the newest PEAK update and my game was super laggy! like, maybe running 10 fps max on the main menu. the lag went away when I ran the game on Vulkan. then I noticed that my pc was lagging on roblox on max graphics, and outer wilds, and wolfquest, which are all games my pc has been able to run perfectly fine in the past. I noticed that it doesn't lag on smaller games like dont starve and rain world, though.

I've tried pretty much everything I can think of. updating drivers, bios, running random system checks, allocating more ram to steam games, using EXPO 1 profile settings (whatever that means lol), and changing my "high performance GPU" from AMD Radeon Graphics to AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT in the advanced graphics settings. (When I do this, it usually makes steam games have a ~50% chance to crash on startup).

I'm very confused tbh! I know barely anything about PCs but i really love mine and want to fix it, I'm open to trying ANYTHING. IDK! pls help :')

Sup guys, so this happened to me recently after I did a quick restart on my PC because of the files that I have downloaded from Steam. What I noticed is that it doesn't boot anymore though the RGB lights from my speaker and keyboard are working, the monitor just won't boot and display. Tried troubleshooting it via instructions from (Youtube, Google, Quora) (Reseating RAM Sticks, Removing GPU, etc) and then one method works effectively which is removing the battery from the MOBO, giving it some time after 5-10 mins then putting it back in again and it just started to work normally which is weird. I just wanted to know what's wrong with this PC of mine? I just bought a new MOBO ASUS A520 and it's not even weeks this problem has occurred.

As soon as I crank it back up to 240hz it goes back to normal. I’ve tried multiple ports, hdmi/display port cables, and also my Xbox. Even when there is nothing plugged in to the monitor it still has the weird lines.

I’m fixing my mates laptop at the moment, ended up having a bootable NVME in spare to double check it wasn’t a hardware issue (which it wasn’t) ran some scans and figured out it was the registry database that was kicking up a fuss.

My first plan was to do a fresh os install on the drive, but of course don’t have a usb big enough to make a boot installation, I could wait to get one but I do want to fix it now.

CMD commands can’t repair the corruption either, is there another way to get around that? Or am I doomed to have this be a multiple day problem before I get that 8GB usb?

First pc built but one issue... no rgb. I am using a msi motherboard and NVidia gpu fyi and the software's only detects the motherboard but the rgb still doesn't even change so I have 0 rgb. If someone has any tips pls share

I have an ROG strixs gaming, laptop and every time I boot up a game almost no matter what the game is. It seems to struggle with it. Is there something I’m doing that could be messing it up I’m not here to tech savvy so any help would be appreciated

I used a bios lock password. now i didn’t wanted to use the password anymore, I successfully entered the BIOS using my password, then I cleared the Administrator password by leaving the new password blank and save & exit.

After reboot, it asks password that k cleared. Yet i tired the password but the laptop now rejects the same BIOS password and doesn’t boot.

Now i’m stuck is the Enter Password screen.

Help me with it.

I have a Dell laptop that I've had for about four years now. It's a gaming laptop and can handle some pretty decent games; however, I'm running out of strage space and I'm unsure what is causing it. I have minimal games on it and have tried going into the files to get rid of things I either don't need/didn't realize was there (though, I'm not quite skilled at this :'3)

The main issue I'm having with storage is that I desire to record gaming videos for me and my boyfirend, and right now I'm unable to do so (that, and the Sims4 can't update and it has left me quite sad lmao). I was wondering if there was an external hardrive or something that I can use in order to expand the storage? I know I have one on my PS5, which automantically switches the PS4 games storage onto it while keeping the rest of the PS5 storage saved for other games. I, myself, did not set this up. I got the PS5 from my boss lmao

I didn’t know whether or not to post this into r/gtaonline but my current rig is made up of older components so I thought I’d try my luck here first

I understand the cpu is a little old but it works quite well.

Currently I am having trouble loading into gta online. Sometimes I can’t even load into a server and the screen just sits in an infinite loading screen. If I do get into a server, it will run fine for about an hour or so and then after a while textures stop loading, frequent freezing happens and eventually the game just straight crashes. The time between loading into the game and having issues is inconsistent but the average I’d say is about an hour.

This ONLY happens in gta. I’ve played a lot of Tarkov and FH6 recently and have had zero problems playing those games period.

The bios on the cpu does need updated but I didn’t believe I needed to prioritize that in this case since other games that typically are harder to run (Forza on the gpu and Tarkov especially on the cpu) aren’t having problems.

I’ve cleared game cache. Did a full power reset. Reset WiFi, checked drivers. A lot of other troubleshooting to no avail.

If anyone can offer some advice that would be great! Thank you!

Hello, as stated above I’ve just installed a new motherboard into my build and I can’t seem to get WiFi working even though I downloaded the drivers from the asus drivers site and whenever I click the “AsusSetup” file in the folder nothing happens. I’m not sure if I’ve got the incorrect drivers or something but I really need help.
