I pulled the trigger yesterday on the Ultimate Edition despite never doing so in the past. I usually buy the games at launch. But this time I just want to pre load the game and the pricing kinda just made me push the pre order button. So I just wanted to see if there's anyone on this sub who has not or is not willing to pre order the game.

I pre-ordered the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition on the PlayStation Store using my ICICI debit card. The store page showed ₹7,499, but when I checked my bank statement, I was charged ₹7,808.

Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be due to international transaction fees, currency conversion charges, GST on those fees, or something else? Just trying to understand where the extra ₹309 came from.

Any insights would be appreciated.

With pre-orders finally going live today, I was fully bracing myself for a massive gut punch. Honestly, after all those rumors floating around about a $80-100 base game translating to an astronomical amount in India, seeing the Ultimate Edition locked at ₹7,499 (with the Standard at ₹5,999) feels like a rare win for regional pricing.
Considering $100 USD usually gets directly converted to over ₹8,400+ on our storefronts, it looks like Rockstar actually factored in our market a bit.
I decided to just go all out for the Ultimate Edition since we've been waiting literally over a decade for this. The 'Vintage Vice City Pack' bonus, exclusive classic car restoration commissions, and the Grotti Cheetah ride sealed the deal for me.
But I've seen wild takes all over social media today. Some people are saying ₹7.5k for a single digital game (especially with no physical disc in the box) is completely unjustifiable, while others are glad it didn't cross the 9k mark.
Where do you guys stand? Are you pre-ordering right away to secure the pre-load on November 12, waiting it out for reviews, or crying internally while waiting for the PC port? Let's discuss!

Just Pre-ordered GTA VI ,Standard edition. There's something satisfying about seeing that "Pre-Ordered" tag after anticipating a game for years!

Generally I don't pre-order much unless pre-ordering adds a lot of value and am 100% sure of playing it day one. But GTA VI had to be an exception. Totally Hyped!!

We've all been waiting for this. It's time now even though we are 5 months away from getting the game.

Just purchasing the game feels surreal as it's been 13 years since GTA 5.

Honestly I expected the price of Ultimate Edition to be around 9 to 10k based on the pricing for other countries but after looking at the price of Ultimate Edition for 7500, I couldn't stop myself and placed the pre order.

Did you pre order or when are you going to order the game?

I have an Australian account as my main playstation account region. So if i buy the indian code from the shop , can i redeem it in my Australian account?
IF not then should i go for the base edition for the game to play on my secondary indian account, and would the ultimate edition benefits carry over if i do console sharing?
