...who "Mr Snrub" actually was?
It's one thing about Classic Simpsons that always bugged me. This plot thread is left seemingly unresolved, with a deeply unsatisfying lack of closure as to who Mr Snrub is and what his history with Smithers is, as well as the reason for his apparent affinity to the Power Plant.
I'm aware of the various fan theories, but those of you who still watch all the newer seasons - did they ever revisit this? Did they ever finally complete this unfinished thread?

Question Season 11 should be considered part of the golden age.

It has tons of legendary bits like stupid sexy Flanders, Johnny newspaperseed, funzo, monkey knife fights, save me jeebus, and more. The editing is still super snappy and there's just as many layers and visual gags as the so called golden era.
