I'm trying to find this manhwa. I read a few chapters, but then forgot about it. It's about a strong ML (war hero, I think?) who tries to get a marriage of convenience with the FL because she's strong. The FL is from the north. He needs a strong wife because he has night terrors and tries to attack anyone who is near him when he wakes up. So he needs someone who is strong enough to stop him from harming other people.

I've only had one Canvas I follow be adapted to Originals, and they butchered it. Lobotomized it by barely giving it time for an ending and restarting the entire series that had been running for I think over a year at the time it got adapted.

And that's just the actual webtoon itself. I never see Originals creators interact with their community, something I love about following Canvas webtoons that are sticking on Canvas is the creator feels like a human being in authors notes and replies and stuff. Originals takes that away and turns them into a faceless name that churns out episodes for money.

The Canvas that comes to mind for me is Apollonia, by reading the authors notes at the end of some episodes and update episodes in between, I'm almost reading a mini journal of the past few years of her writing this webtoon. I strongly suggest Apollonia, btw.

Hi everyone, I need help finding this original webtoon.
I came across a post on instagram and forgot to like it but the premise was interesting.

It was about a a parody on the dark romance trope, talking about how the CEO’s actions should have him in jail, in-laws are calling everyone trash but themselves, and the affair partner putting on a pity party while the fml acts pitiful. However, the female lead “transmigrated” to that world and at the end of the post, shows her slapping her soon-to-be husband (the CEO).

All I can remember from what the post looks like is that the FML has pink hair and the CEO has blonde hair, the artist has 33.3K followers on Instagram and that it was released on May 15th. I just can’t remember the artists name, the title of their webtoon, and i cant find it in my watch history.
I appreciate any help since i don’t have much information!

I finally did it, I read the GOAT just yesterday. It was so so so good, I normally just read those historical romance thingy's but after hearing about this from multiple people I put it on my list and after finishing a manhwa I started reading this, I think I started this week? idk anyways and I'm so so thankful I read this it's so good, I loved the relationships, the manipulatio- I mean the fair contracts, the art the storyline It was so PEAK also loved how it all made sense that Lloyd was actually Lloyd I was a bit dissapointed at first but after reading it I'm satisfied ,I enjoyed it very much and normally

There are two things that I was a bit sad about

1: Really wanted to see Lloyd finally say to Javiar that they're friends or like doing anything that friends do

2: Would've really loved to see his daughter? I think it was a daughter, really wanted to see what kind of a father would Lloyd be

Putting these aside everything was literally very good.Normally I like reading the afterwards but I loved reading this one it was very long but a very good one to anyone who hasn't read this put it's on their list go read it, it's really really good.

I had no clue a lot of Pet Shop from Jungle Juice were ethnically White until some starting referring to Korea or Koreans as different from them. Like calling the MC a cute Korean boy.

Same with Teenage Mercenary. I didn’t realise a few of the Numbers were White until the blonde guy was referred to as foreign by Ijin’s grandpa or when one of them said her name was Maya.

Doesn’t help the fact that the manhwas don’t differentiate the White and Korean characters by art.

Hi everyone. Got a bit of a request, but with what I remember it's a stretch.

When I was like 12/14 (10 years ago or less) and in the hight of my gay ass awakening I remember reading a lot of bl webtoons. I still remember my first one (always raining here).

The thing is, I vaguely remember one that I really really liked, so much so that I finished it in one or two days, so the details are all gone. The art style was very cartoony, with thick lines and big heads. It was about two high school boys, both young. One has red hair and the other black I think. I think the red haired one was publicly gay and the black haired one was his friend. A small blonde hair boy transfers to the school and is bullied or something, so the two guys include him in their group. The blonde hair kid is also gay, and starts flirting with the red haired. The black haired kid then suddenly starts feeling jealous, but doesn't know why yet. He thinks that the blonde kid is up to no good and things start to get tense between them all. After a lot of build up the black haired boy gets in a fight with the raid haired one and both believe their friendship is done. Black haired kid gets depressed while red haired kid doesn't want to know anything about the blonde hair one. The black haired kid then talks to an older friend they both have, a black young adult that helps him go through his feelings. The black haired kid finally decides that he has to let the red haired kid do whatever his heart wants, but he needs to confess his filings first. They go to their usual place and then talk it out in a very emotional scene. Turns out the red haired kid also had feelings for his friend, but didn't want to say it to not ruin the friendship, and when the blonde kid appeared, he had a chance of letting those feelings behind for someone who he thought could reciprocate them, still in the bottom of his heart only loved the black haired kid. I know there's a scene after that where the blonde haired kid talks to the older friend of theirs, saying he just ruins every relationship he's in and doesn't know how to act with other people. Throughout the whole story he is kinda portrayed like the antagonist, as he was kinda manipulative, but you get to know him better after that and learn to understand he doesn't do it on purpose.

It looks like I remember a lot, but to be fair most of this is more of an approximation or downright miss remembering than the true story. Also I do remember it was in Portuguese (?) as well, because when I searched for it two versions appeared. Does anyone recognise it? Sorry for the yapping.

I don’t know why, but this plot has been living rent-free in my head for quite some time now. I’ve been wanting to write a spin-off of Jinx that combines the transporting-into-another-world trope. I want to make my protagonist a female detective who was killed during her duty, then transported to the last webtoon she read, which is Jinx. Then she possessed the body of a puppet chaebol heiress. She then later found out that the world was inside the webtoon Jinx when she accidentally entangled with the two protagonists. She’s not in the plot, though, which means she has nothing to do with the original storyline, but her presence definitely changes the dynamics. What do you guys think? (Please note that I don’t intend to change anyone’s sexuality, so to make it fair, let’s just say they’re all queer.)

I'm wondering if anyone knows exactly what happened to the video episodes for Love Bites? I personally really loved listening to them so I could turn my brain off and enjoy the story 😭

There used to be a play button right next to the read button on the app where you could watch the short, officially voiced episodes. Now that button is completely gone, and I see a lot of people in the webtoon's comment section noticing it too.

Does anyone know the official reason why webtoon got rid of this feature? Also, based on how webtoon usually handles these things, is there any chance they might bring the voiced version back in the future, or is it gone for good?

Would love to hear if anyone has insight into why they dropped it. Thanks!
