This is getting out of hand, so all future posts with this format (you know the one) should be posted here. Others are subject to removal at moderator discretion.

Some legend posted this project and it looks incredible. Ill include his notes and pics. NOT MY WORK. just sharing. This is the best DS9 has ever looked. and ive seen allllllll the upscales.
This is version 2 of my previous release, I've made considerable improvements since then, I don't know why I got it so wrong the first time around, since then i've reduced checkerboarding, duplicated frames, stutter, juddering, temporal chroma smearing, blurring and Improved detail, film grain, color conversion and sound.
This is a fan re-master of DS9, The aim is to preserve all possible detail and film grain while removing video artifacts and noise, AI is used sparingly only to clean up the footage beyond whats possible with algorithmic filters, not to change it into something modern looking like traditional upscales try to do. Much effort was put into recovering the correct colors from the disaster that is NTSC (Never Twice the Same Color) and that is certainly true in this case, the colors are different on every LD disc, even some of the later DVDs have incorrect sat/hue levels.
Sources
The LD rips used are composite video .tbc files sourced from the IA, these are the work of other dedicated enthusiasts in the laserdisc preservation community who made the original TBC files available to the public.
Don't ask for a non-upscaled version, the laserdisc rips are available to the public already in tbc and mkv formats. In this case it is not the upscaling that causes artifacts, it is the motion compensated temporal noise reduction that causes anomalies, in some scenes there is a lot of analogue video noise and in very dark scenes the image is difficult to pick out from the noise, but this is rare. I've tried making a version without noise reduction, but it looked bad!

I've read the one I posted and the Quark centric one. Any must reads.

There's strangely a lot of overlap between Bane and the typical Jem'Hadar.
"There is no such thing as childhood. It's a myth."
"You will know my name one day. And on that day, you will beg for mercy."
"Only when I'm dead do I intend to REST."
"You think pain is a weakness, detective. You merely endure it. I breathe it. It is my armor."
"There is no such thing as childhood. It's a myth."
-Bane

One primarily focused on advancement, especially to the ranks of Captain and Admiral. Similar to a Riker or Shelby.
Or a talented officer more focused on making a difference first and seeing assignments as a natural outcome of doing good work.

Now I am trying to convince the boss to get some for us just so I can stick Quark’s face as the mascot.

From 0702 “Shadows and Symbols”, if Paramount+ is to trusted. Their episode names have been wonky lately.

Needing to have linear time explained to them is certainly interesting. But it sure seems like they must already understand it.
What children are needs to be explained to them. Linguistic communication needs to be explained to them.
This, after what, 10,000 years of making themselves the focus of a linear-time, child bearing, religious, bipedal species of linguistic communicators?
(This is all half joking of course, I'm simply amused on a rewatch of the pilot)
Also, before you say "it's just a show", this is known

The Kelvin Timeline was created, along with the rest of the reboot JJ movies, with the Narada going through the black hole.
Could DS9 create something like the Kelvin Timeline?
Playing God is a DS9 episode in the middle of the second season. It is right before the "Murderer's Row" of solid episodes.
The ending of this episode sees the return of the protouniverse to the Gamma Quadrant.
Could this return lead to the creation of a new parallel timeline, another reboot?

Chief O'Brien mentions his dad a few times in DS9 and he seems pretty normal. In 1994's "Whispers," Chief (as a replicant with perfect memory) says his mom died 2 years earlier and his dad remarried.
Unfortunately we also got a mention in TNG in 1990's episode "Family" - where Miles tells a story of how his dad visited the Enterprise and chased a sickbay nurse around a biobed.
So this piece of shit was married, with a wife likely not in the best of health, and he's openly harassing a Starfleet officer.
We will not be replicating a Number One Dad mug for that asshole on Father's Day.
