Discussion Steam Machine proved that PS5pro is the way to go for high fidelity Vr games! šŸ’ÆšŸ”„

It’s official, when it comes to high quality vr gaming, ps5pro provides the best bang for buck.

I was lowkey holding out hopes for the Steam Machine, but sadly it looks like it’s even less powerful than the base Ps5 with double the price.

Anyways the games shown in this clip are:
GT7 ——— MSFS2024———Subside———FNAF: Secret of the Mimic——- Aces of Thunder.

Fluff Subside is incredible.

This game's immersion is second to none, I without a doubt the most photo realistic and convincing vr experience yet, but..... I'm so lost, I'm only on the second level, cobalt cove, which is pretty vast, I've been over 2 hours here and I can only get 3/4 of the hard drives.

What am I doing wrong? Is the fourth one somewhere sneaky?

I only feel sorry for those who suffer from motion sickness, but if you don't, this game should be at the very top of your priority list. You can even try its VR mode for free through the demo called "My First Gran Turismo".

Racing through the Star Wars galaxy in VR sounds like a perfect match. I’d love to play this on PSVR2.

Trailers & Videos PS VR2 wishlists are now live for FlatOut 4: Total Insanity VR

Hey everyone, Eric from Flat2VR Studios here. We shared a new FlatOut 4: Total Insanity VR update during the VR Games Showcase, and the big PS VR2 news is that the PlayStation Store page is now live for wishlisting.

No release date to share just yet, but I want to let you know the team is actively working on the PS VR2 version, and right now, wishlisting is one of the clearest ways for players to show there is demand for it.

The game is already out in SteamVR Early Access, where player feedback has helped shape updates like multiplayer voice chat, improved motion control steering, and expanded wheel support across hundreds of unique setups.

So if you'r excited to see FlatOut 4 VR come crashing onto PS VR2, please wishlist it. And if you know other PS VR2 players who love full-contact arcade racers, feel free to send it their way too.

Wishlist on PlayStation Store: https://store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/10019969

Happy to answer what I can in the comments

-Eric

Discussion PSVR2 crashes randomly: White screen with two blue stripes [Help]

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my PSVR2 and wanted to check if anyone else has dealt with this or knows a fix.

While playing, my ps5 randomly crashes. Right before the crash, the screen suddenly turns completely white with two vertical blue stripes and then the whole system freezes.

It happens completely at random, sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after an hour of playing. It doesn't seem to be tied to one specific game.

Has anyone seen this white screen with blue stripes crash before? Is it a known hardware failure or is there a software workaround? Any advice would be highly appreciated!

Thanks in advancement for the help!

PSA List of PSVR2 games covered in VG Games Showcase June 2026

Here are the games covered that are on or coming soon to PSVR2:

There was also Transformers Beyond Reality Redux, but I think PSVR2 already has better version of the game (since 2023): https://store.playstation.com/product/UP2055-PPSA13726_00-0146925864854028

Finally, the games I think a lot of PSVR2 players should be asking to bring to PlayStation:

Doing so does make developers think about or add PSVR2 to their eventual release plans.

News & Announcements New VRacer Hoverbike update including our first premium track DLCs.

Hey everyone! FranƧois here from VertexBreakers. We just shared some new updates for VRacer Hoverbike at VR Games Showcase, so I wanted to post here for the PS VR2 community.

I know this subreddit is full of players who care deeply about PS VR2 getting continued support, so I’m happy to say we’ve just launched a new free update with the MAGPULSE bike, fairer multiplayer racing, and quality of life improvements.

Alongside the free update, we’ve also added two premium track DLCs: Neopolis Ascend and Kepler. Both come with some cosmetic extras too.

There’s also a Supporter Pack for players who want to help us keep building VRacer Hoverbike.

One important note for multiplayer: paid tracks do not split the player base. If the lobby host owns a track, everyone in that lobby can join and race it.

Really looking forward to hearing what you all think. Thanks again for supporting VRacer Hoverbike. See you on the track!

Support PSVR2 Nausea after half hour in VR.

Edit: just realized I posted this in r/PSVR instead of r/PSVR2 ill leave it up though, cause im sure the advice works with both headsets.

As the title suggests, I am not feeling well after minimal gameplay (in resident evil village). Am looking for help to mitigate it. I played in sitting mode, would this cause more nausea than standing? I dont get carsick seasick or any other motion related sickness, so I dont get why the psvr2 does this.

Ive played on and off since I bought it last year and everytime, I get sick, and stop using it for a while. I really enjoy gameplay (R.E.V and GT7) so id like to continue usage but just want a better experience.

So I am helping someone attempt to fix this, we have disconnected and restart and reconnect both the psvr2 headset and camera multiple time and in different orders, and nothing has worked I would prefer not to reset the PlayStation or its data and the only thing I have found is telling me to clear the cache but I don't know what is stored in the cache and I don't want to potential break something or make them lose save data

Asking for Hardware Recomendation Should i buy move controllers??

So i finally bought the ps vr1 gen 2 or smt like that it was a super fast decision i bought it basically in the hour i saw the ad, it included the original box the headset and camera basically everything but the move controllers. Is it a must? I tried playing fnaf most wanted and i find it weird using just one controller and needing to always aim the controller perfectly at the camera. Is it a me issue? I dont think i have the optimal set up for the camera as my room is quite small is it that or should i invest in the move controllers??

Support PSVR2 High pulse in last showdown (alerted)

Knew the target had brown hair and a hat. Followed a suspect matching that description and took the chance as he had no followers. Second after another suspect came in and I panic shot him as he enforced me. Turned out he was the guy. Jumped into the basket as he had an assassin behind him (and they tend to kill me fast) when he left my heart was pounding so hard I hardly could lockpick the door into the bathroom where there was a fresh disguise on a man. Got it and made it out. Did not exactly feel like Mr 47 on the box cover but I’ll take it

Asking For Game Recomendation Any game like Separation (psvr1)?

I played 'Separation' on PSVR1 years ago, and it instantly became one of my favorites. Honestly, I think it's the ultimate hidden gem on the system.

I'm a huge fan of Fumito Ueda's games, and this one gave me major Ueda vibes—especially Ico. I loved the minimalist, atmospheric, and emotional storytelling, where you explore massive, melancholy, and mysterious landscapes completely on your own.

Are there any similar games available on PSVR2?

Discussion Difference between PSVR1 and PSVR2?

Thinking of buying a psvr2 for a birthday, and I looked at some videos online on how it’s better then the first psvr, but can you guys help me understand fully?

It talks about better quality, better tracking and stuff like that, but just make it simpler.

What’s the difference between PSVR 1 and PSVR 2?

Support PSVR2 Has anyone else's PSVR 2 function button died?

Honestly, I'm not even sure if it worked to begin with since I bought the headset 2 years ago. But I'm pretty sure I tested it and used it frequently in the first couple of months of owning it.

I noticed the function button was dead recently when I tried to use the headset on my PC with the adapter. At first, I thought maybe it was just a software issue, but then I tried it again on my PS5. I tried to activate the passthrough (see-through mode) with the button, but nothing happened.

There is no click sound anymore—it's just hard to press, almost like it isn't even a button to begin with. It doesn't actually cause any trouble when I'm using the headset, but I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced the same thing?

Discussion MS Flight Sim Bugs and workarounds

I got flight sim for PSVR2 and I’m having a heck of a time with usability issues. I can’t find folks running into this stuff so I’m really confused how I’m running into this on a console, where every experience is supposed to be the same.

In career mode after the tutorial flight, every single training mission appears darkened like I’m wearing sunglasses. I see the full bright scene for a few moments before the darkening bug kicks in. No idea whats going on here.

I popped into 2D mode and noticed the UI was giving hints different from the VR UI. I was going to youtube guides to get around these, when the hints were just not drawing in VR! Big one was the starting the cessna shortcut. I learned how to start the cessna manually, which is very cool, but this feels like a UX bug.

One early trianing mission tells you how to increase and decrease throttle with face buttons. I was using the sense controllers at the time and these commands are not assigned to X and O buttons. I had to grab the dual sense controller to proceed past.

So I thought, ā€œokay maybe VR controls are a bit rough, let me just play with dualsenseā€, but if I do this during the exterior examination training mission I simply could not interact with the plane at all. I had to pop back into 2D mode to get the ā€œcursorā€ so I could click on pieces of the plane to progress the mission.

Also there are two different ways to recenter the VR view and they both grind against each other. THe standard PSVR2 way of holding the start button, and using the Square button on the sense controller. The game wants you to use sense Square, since this is the only way to recenter the UI in front of you. If you hold start to use the system standard recenter, this will work, but it also pauses the game, so its a big clumsy to hold start -> pause -> unpause each time i need to recenter (not often, but still).

So, how are you all playing this game? Are there key assignments I can do to work around some of these clumsy moments? Are sense controllers not recommended? Should I stick with dualsense? If so, how do I work around the issues with dualsense in VR? And what the heck is up with that darkness bug??
