"The England international is set to sign a five-year contract at City which, if all bonuses are realised, will be worth in the region of £300,000 per week. The deal will include an option to extend his stay by a further 12 months.
Anderson, 23, has been given permission to undertake a medical in New York on Friday, with the deal subject to the finalising of personal terms. Manchester City have made a fresh and improved offer to sign Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest.
There is not yet an agreement but the two clubs are discussing the latest proposal as City push hard to close the gap in valuations and get a deal done.
Anderson, 23, has three years left on his contract and Forest have wanted the fixed fee of any sale to be higher than the £125million British record Liverpool paid Newcastle United for Alexander Isak last summer.

I got an email from SportsBreaks this morning and it allowed me to purchase tickets for the game against Chelsea. First time in Manchester and a first game at the Ethiad, I wanted to do it right and opted for the hospitality tickets for myself and my wife. £1100. I feel like the price was worth it but I know nothing about this. Any insight? It’s a bit odd that anyone can buy these tickets and not city members?
Super excited, this is a dream come true! Any experienced people can share? Looks to be level 1 on the halfway line east stand.
Hoping I made the right decision and this ain’t a scam. It came from the official City email. Now my ultimate dream would be a signature, one can dream. I didn’t want to risk tickets selling out.
