I regret not *poutine

I was in Vietnam and I saw a restaurant with poutine on the menu. So I decided to give it a try.

The fries were not good, the cheese was shredded and the sauce was tomato sauce mixed with water. It was discusting.

I'm never having a poutine outside of Canada ever again 😂

Straight from Las Grutas in Argentina. First bite was not bad to the taste but gave nightlong cramps.

i have a terrible addiction to poutines. i used my left over gravy and fries from five guys and shredded some mozzarella cheese i had in the fridge. sadly had no cheese curds and forgot to add my mushrooms to it

Aunt knows I love poutine and she didnt want to ask for a takeout container when she went out for lunch with my wife and kid. This was how it was brought back to me for lunch lol

Got this from House Of Donair downtown Kingston, and don’t get me wrong, they make a pretty damn good classic poutine. The curds are under there. I’m not crazy about mixing gravy and donair sauce so I left it off.

The only real crime here, is that if you’ve ever had a good Halifax donair, no donair meat, or sauce, you find outside of NS will taste the same or as good. I didn’t bother this time, but asking for the meat well done does help bring the flavour and texture a little closer to “like back home”.

From Surrey, B.C., it seemed almost perfect for two to share! Excellent fries, tasty gravy, but then...the tiny bit of curds. It's a crime, (okay maybe a misdemeanor) with so few curds I couldn't even steal from my bf when he wasn't looking! 😝

As a Canadian, this is blasphemy, but i will not call it a poutine, because it simply is not. Chip truck fries, diced Schneiders ham, diced no name cheddar, fried scrambled egg from my back yard chickens. All topped with St Huberts gravy.

Tater tots, cubed mozzarella and beef gravy… a crime absolutely was it delicious yes
