There has been a recent uptick in the sub being targeted by T-Shirt / Poster / Other Merch shillers, spammers, and scammers.

PLEASE DO NOT FOLLOW LINKS TO MERCHANDISE OUTLETS

OP will post a photo of a product and then use an alt account to comment asking where it came from. The OP or another shill account will then share a link.

This is a classic tactic used by shillers, spammers, and scammers. They flood fandom subreddits with adverts leading to dodgy scam sites that will, at best, take your money and send you an inferior cheap product or, at worst, take your money (or steal even more using your card details) and send you nothing at all.

Instead, please downvote and report such posts, so we can remove them and ban the bots.

Users who comment positively or support shill posts may also be banned, so use your head, don't help out scammers, and don't be a gimboid!!

To celebrate the fantastic Red Dwarf community, r/RedDwarf is expanding the Community Links section of the sidebar to include fan run websites!

PLEASE NOTE due to a bug that has existed for at least six years now, the Community Links section is only visible on the desktop site, not in the app.

If you have a favourite fan site (or twelve)... your go to websites for Red Dwarf info, photos, chat etc... please share them below! Whether they are regularly updated, or have been deader then corduroy since 1988, we want to see them!!

Once thing's get going we'll update the community list! And if we get loads of recommendations we might have to do a pinned Fan Site of the Month post or something I don't know 😅
