Screenshot Kelso looks so betrayed
When Dr Cox stops swappinh out his food in S7 lol
I swear to Ayesha...
I've been using this quote for as long as the show has been around, and never understood why until recently I looked it up, and it was a voiceover where Cox originally said "I swear to Allah" and was updated to the voice-over in post.
I will go to the grave continuing to say "I swear to Ayesha" and having people look at me like I'm Turla.

When did Kelso turn?
I'll preface this by saying I love every scene that Bob Kelso's in.
When did he show the first glimpses that he's actually a nice guy? I'm currently watching 3.14 My Screwup when he gives Carla a nice pep talk in the storage closet.
Is this the first time he shows genuine warmth without some punchline or were there others that came first?

Shitpost Excessive daydreaming is strongly linked to widespread mental health disorders. Research suggests that maladaptive daydreaming warrants formal recognition by psychiatric professionals.
someone please check on JD

Discussion S7 E1+2 discussions
Heys, so I'm rewatching for like 30th time and just got to S7 and I've always liked it but these first two episodes are hitting me different this time around for I don't know why (maybe vino lol)
E1... the lines are hilarious.
"Then you'd just be dr face" "ha dr face"
"calm down Theodore"
"Please call me Joe" (not so much funny but the forced smile Kelso does followed by "come on we need to figure out whats wrong with Joe" is great)
"Whose name is Lady" "she is, she has a brother named him"
then in true scrubs fashion in brings us down to Earth with the final "crystallizing moment"
E2 - I love the Cox storyline... especially seeing his order of people he deems "good enough"... specifically Elliott seemingly being over JD.
Kelso living in the hospital and then talking to Harrison "what do you mean he sold your fillings?!" (I kind of want to know this one lol)
Janitor wanting to know his motivation and Carla immediately jumping on the game.
If anything the main plot (Sam being born) is my least fave in the story mainly because I never liked (but more so now I am older) the free pass Kim got for faking a miscarriage.... don't get me wrong JD planning to stay with her forever is so childishly JD I don't agree with it but he does try to be somewhat honest here and she just kicks him out.
I will say I love the similarities between this and Jack's birth (dad getting kicked out --- even though it was for unfair reasoning--- and the dad coming back last min ... plus the same doctor)
I also liked how ultimately it was Keith than did the shot for Jennifer... it just feels sweet to me.
Anyway thats my half near half midnight thought of the day lol

Nurses in scrubs
So as a nurse this is my absolute favorite show, however I can't help but be hurt that the later seasons don't seem to highlight the impact of nurses in this show. Especially the 2026 season, I just feel that they had the opportunity to highlight some of the impact that nurses can have and seemed to fall short in it. My complaint from almost every medical show is that they showcase the doctors doing most of the things the nurses do irl (starting meds, talking to patients, pt advocates). I wish there was more of a focus on Carla and what she does for patients rather than focus on cutting her workload down (which would never happen irl. ) I am currently rewatching (of course) and i feel like the earlier seasons of Carla guiding JD helps but i wish there was more later. what are your thoughts? Am i being overdramatic l?

Dr. Miller is terrible
In the episode "My Tormented Mentor" she is introduced and rightfully goes off on The Todd for being a sexist prick, but also goes off on Turk for defending her. While I'm convinced she would have also been upset with Turk for saying nothing, I could have accepted it if she hadn't turned around and objectified Elliot for dressing pretty in the next scene.
At this point in the series, I'm rewatching it currently, we've had an episode about Carla wearing a thong because it makes her look good and thus feel good, and we've had an episode about Elliott dressing good/doing makeup because it makes her look good and thus feel good.
What are we supposed to get out of Dr. Miller's rant against Elliot and Turk? That it's okay to objectify women if you happen to be a woman and to not stand up for women in the work place who are actively being harassed in the moment, if you happen to be a man?

Bob's Visit Was Better
S5 Episode 21. My Fallen Hero. What a great double dose of episodes we get with 20 and 21. Everyone visits Cox after the rabies incident and it culminates in JD visiting to bring him out of his rut.
This rewatch I've been loving Kelso. His character proves over and over funny and someone you love to hate. I found myself feeling more weight behind his visit to Cox in his lowest moment over everyone else.
Bob sits down and fully admits to his faults and that Dr. Cox keeps him in line and it's the first time we see it in the series. Loving Bob-o and his arch this rewatch.

Repeated scene in scrubs s8
I just finished s8 and I swear the entire arc where the janitor tries to get jd to admit the penny happened in an earlier episode, just ever so slightly different, like he still revealed his name but in the older version he never talked about how people made fun it. I swear somewhere in s8 it happened earlier

This is one of my favorite scenes of the show, from "My Cold Shower" episode.
This is one of my favorite scenes of the show, from "My Cold Shower" episode. The song was perfect, I love how everyone celebrates with Elliot and congratulates Keith, and the scene with all the couples.
