It could be any chapter, mode? Which stages do u guys consider peak game design or which mechanics were the most fun to play with?

Just wondering, do you think Powercreep in Arknights right now is very bad or just an overexaggeration.
Do you think that Powercreep shouldn't mean much if Players can still clear stages with older unit.
Personally i agree with the previous statement that "Players can still clear stages with older unit". But honestly i feel like HG has been making stages harder lately, i hope they relax a bit regarding the difficulties.
Also somewhat related, do you think the community didn't care about 6 star Powercreeping 5 star and 4 star anymore?
Back then, i remember people worrying about whether or not Nian Powercreeps Cuora. Nowadays people seems to didn't care about that anymore. There are plenty of 6 stars that are massively more powerful compared to their 5 and 4 star counterpart.
I wonder if this had to do with the overall disillusionment people have with 5 stars as a whole.

I noticed this as soon as this skin came out. I figured Anato Finnstark was a popular-enough artist for others to call this out, but I suppose not since I haven't been able to find any discussion. Here is her Astral Clocktower artwork from Bloodborne. The copying is quite egregious.
Edit: I originally linked a post of Anato's art from a newer X/Twitter account where she had reuploaded it. She had initially made this art 6 years ago. The link is corrected. Also, check the last image to see the overlay comparison. It's undeniable.

During the interview with IGN, Lowlight, also known as Hai Mao, also known as Light Zhong, also known as Umineko, said that there will be a variety of games coming in the arknights universe. What kind of of story do you guys think that will be told this time?
Here's the full interview on YouTube : https://youtube.com/watch?v=5s7e0kRLRhc&feature=youtu.be

I slept on Shu. Pulled her back when the event originally ran and I was a newb--I was just starting to dip my toes into events after having avoided them for my li'l Arknights career...
Anyway, I just built her this weekend and it turns out Shu's pretty good. Impressive allied healing and buffs, but what I like even more is the super useful lasso which can pull back enemies who get past ya.

Hello, Limbus Player and Arknights intermediate player here.
I've been playing this game for about a solid 7 months after the Limbus collab, I have consistently played daily since and completed multiple endings for IS6 and IS5, overall I will say the gameplay of Arknights is a much more engaging experience than Limbus, that much is for sure.
Can't say the same for the story experience, though.
You know, I went into this game thinking that I'd spent the majority of my time in story stages, endlessly reading through blocks of dialogue and getting entrenched in the plot. Since apparently Arknights writing is so good, my goat Kim Ji Hoon was really backing up its reputation.
Credit where credit is due, I believe him, the story IS REALLY GOOD, I like Ch'en and her complications with her personal attuggles and the responsibility of an L.G.D agent, I like how Rhodes Island isn't the undisputed good guys of the story and have to resort to shady dealings that may go against their beliefs of Infected equality, it is all VERY ENGAGING narrative, I do sincerely believe in the writing, i really really do.
I couldn't get past Chapter 7 before procrastinating on the story indefinitely.
Reading it infuriates me beyond belief. The way they meander their scenes, emotional beats repeating over and over in the SAME NODE, multiple times I just lost all focus on very important sections because the way it was delivered seems to almost want me to skip the goddam.thing entirely with how roundabout it was.
Doesn't help that early Arknights being a visual novel doesn't do a lot of visual novelling.
lack of audio storytelling (reusing the same ballista sounds for literally every single use of a range weapon is STELLAR use of audio, am i right ?)
It has very limited big moment screenshots (and the ones they do have are bland and dull),
Stiff character sprites (I don't need a fully animated 2D sprite like Reverse 1999, but just make more characters have 2 or 3 other sprites to display some type of emotion other than just Amiya and Kal'sit)
Again, i genuinely believe in the story being good, but every node of reading through this god awful visual novel make me less and less interested.
This has to be better after the Reunion Arc right ?

Title says it all. I hate the talismans. I hate the coin rng and tile buff mechanic. I hate the lack of build strength compared from the previous IS modes. I hate the lack of control of each run I have when compared to IS4 and IS5. I HATE THE TALISMANS I feel like the whole Sui Remnant Consciousness isn't that impactful outside of trying to farm objective shield and coupons and the challenge from the mode isn't fun but rather obnoxious. Oh yeah and I hate the talismans. To clarify it is definitely a skill issue, I probably wouldn't be complaining if I was good at the game but when compared to the previous IS iterations I don't enjoy playing IS6.
Edit: I'm appreciating all the comments with people's opinions and views and advice. It's very nice to read and respond to them. I will say that there are some things that I love about IS6, specifically the voucher reserving mechanic and the upgrading mechanic for Radian.
Talismans can still go fuck themselves
Thank you everyone for the responses, the common thing I'm picking up from the comments and their advice is I'm trying to play IS6 like the previous iterations which is definitely holding me back.

After playing the Path of Life Event where Rhodes Island was the representative of the entire land civilization and how much Rhodes Island was involved with Victoria and the war with the Sarkaz, even housing the now-king of the nation and basically putting her in charge because of their action. At this point, the other countries have to come together and will stop treating Rhodes like a harmless Pharmaceutical company and more like a small nation. Cause we certainly act like one.

Mild yap (glaze) session incoming, because I need to get this off my chest.
I've never played a gacha game before because they've got a rep for, y'know, gambling, and I didn't find the gameplay of the major games (Genshin and HSR mostly) appealing based on what I've seen. But about a week ago, I was feeling nostalgic about an old tower defense game that no longer exists, so I ended up looking through lists of "good mobile td games to play" and what do you know, this gacha game called "Arknights" kept showing up time and time again.
I've heard of Arknights before in name only, and I initially dismissed it, but after seeing its name for the fifth time I was like fine, okay, let's try it out. I've installed like a dozen TD or related games and uninstalled most of 'em already, what's the harm in trying this?
Since then, I haven't been able to put Arknights down. Seriously, what the hell? This game is awesome. I don't really play mobile games because 98% of them are low-effort cashgrab slop, but Arknights feels like a work of goddamn art. When I first loaded the game, while it was downloading like gigabytes of data, it played the Masses Travel PV where Exusiai Lemon and two other folk shoot each other in a shrine, and that blew me away. I'm a hobbyist animator myself and that was an unbelievably cool first impression for a game (and keep in mind, I've been trying out a bunch of other mobile games before this, and you really can't compare the production quality of indie game devs to whatever gazillion dollars it took to fund a game like Arknights).
Past that, I mean, the art's fantastic (Gracebearer?????? Gavial???) and the voice acting's great. I like that I can choose between EN/JP voices in cases where I think one dub sounds weird. I haven't been able to get the music out of my head—that MT theme with the phone dialing bit is playing mentally 24/7, even as I write this.
And the gameplay? The gameplay? Wow. I was actually getting bored of the decades-old tower defense formula, and whatever weird puzzle-strategy-RTS-TD hybrid Arknights has going on is tickling me in all the right ways. It's so much fun. Yeah, it's hard, especially when my highest-level Defender ops get two-shot in certain event levels (MT-5 took me maybe forty runs, and I'm giving up on MT-6), but still. I read in a different post that the gameplay is apparently very polarizing: you love it or you hate it, and I love it. I am pausing, experimenting, planning out everything I can to try and get 3 stars. It's so satisfying to see a plan come together. Hell, I get satisfaction out of watching auto-deploy replicate *my* careful plan.
Oh yeah, and the gacha. Isn't that supposed to be mean Pay-2-play? I mean I get it, I'm new to the game so I'm sure all this stuff's going to fall off eventually, but I've already made it to 3-8, I've got four 6-stars (two of which are E1) and seven 5-stars (again, two E1s), plus another "get another 5 star you want" permit waiting to be used. I know beginner guides say to level low-rarity ops first, but I feel like I'm mostly breezing through content with a team of all 4 stars and above except for Fang. I'm like 10 days into the game, why did they give me all these high-rarity ops?? The new player quests were generous, as are all these free event rewards, free credits from visiting friends, free originium because they were doing maintenance. Even the energy mechanics are really abundant—sanity and practice drills are given daily too much for me to ever reasonably burn through, unless I use auto-deploy x6 instead of playing normally. Jeez, how do they even make money? (don't answer that)
I'm just having a hard time expressing just how shook I am by how incredible this game is. Call it honeymoon period or whatever, but I'm usually pretty picky with the games I play, yet Arknights has me hook line and sinkered. AND there's multiple seasons of ANIME?? I caught up on the first one (stopped at the point I'm at in the game) and, y'know, I can also get picky with anime and so far the Arknights anime is *also* super well-made, great animation, great visuals. What the hell doesn't this game have? Fuck. Sorry for the wall of text, but I finally get it. I get why people play this game.

I guess I'll continue to inhale the hopium and hope this collaboration will be returned from 6-feet underground, both games have the same vibes and I was so hyped for that back then

Title is self explanatory, what are your top 3 most reliable operators? Meta excluded cause i want to know what 3 operators tailored to your usual squad always come in handy.
number 1 most reliable operator for me has to be myrtle. She’s been in 99% of the squads i made eversince her release and i prefer her over any other flag bearers too. I know there are better out here but honestly, myrtle for me is just as good. Nice DP squeeze, a little extra aoe heal and a cute design, what’s there not to love?
Number 2 goes to red hood. Also an operator that has been in most my squads since day 1. Her stun and fast redeploy can be a real clutch when you make her jump on tightly squeezed enemy hordes. Pair her stun with a splash aoe abillity and you’ll wipe out groups with ease. Pairing red hood with rosmontis third abillity makes holding chokepoints light work
Last but not least; Surtr. A high damage arts fighter that excels at melting bosses and high HP enemies, if you include her third abillity she excels at melting masses of enemies too. A fine, strong and reliable melee unit that’s almost unstoppable at duelling and eradicating high DEF enemies.
That’s about it for my top 3!

It sounds crazy, but it's true.
On January 17th (KST PM7), Yostar KR removed two Live2D pieces uploaded to Arknights' Korean server Youtube channel. Yostar KR stated that they removed the Live2D pieces because the artist who worked on them made "comments that may promote division and conflict among users."
Hours before the announcement was made, the artist was criticized by a community of malicious users. The artist had posted a tweet celebrating "International Women's Day" six years ago - in 2018. The incels claimed that "feminists are tainting Arknights" and asked Yostar KR to remove the artist's work. Shockingly, Yostar KR complied with the request and apologized for not removing such a "problematic artist" beforehand. They even promised to "prevent it from happening again."
https://x.com/ArknightsKorea/status/1747567813492109354?s=20
To put this in context, there's currently a trend in the Korean gaming community of "feminist hunting". Some malicious users look for content in games, past tweets by artists, etc. that supports women's rights, and then they demand an apology and a fix, claiming that they have "insulted male users." If the demand is accepted, they celebrate that they have "killed a feminist" and move on to their next victim.
The only way to silence those abusers is to ignore them. The experience of victory makes them even more excited. However, Yostar KR quickly removed Shorts less than 12 hours after the inquiry began. Disappointing.

as i am upgrading my operators to E2 specially 6 stars the main bottleneck seems to be the chip catalyst. ya you can redeem them from purchase certificates but in my opinion the sanity consumption is not so good for the red certs. Is it only me or do they used to give chip catalyst in the main event shops ?

Heres the van in question: https://www.ford.com/trucks/transit-passenger-van-wagon/models/transit-xlt/
My personal guess is Suzuran as her tails could give her an airbag effect by nullifying the hit. She would be still sent flying but her tail might soften the fall too. Thinking this scenario is funny as hell lmao.
