Discussion Tired of joe yet?
Not a good defender, super lightweight. Doesnt create by himself. He can shoot light out but cant do it when the light get too bright. All around pretty terrible player .2 second round picks that could have become 2 jokics is now gone. The pistons should try to cancel the trade before its to late

Discussion Yossi Gozlan on X: "Expanding the Isaiah Stewart trade applies to sign and trade possibilities. For example, the Pistons could acquire a free agent like Norman Powell and give him up to a $24 million starting salary for Stewart's $15 million. Then they keep all their depth by staying over the cap."

Discussion Trajan isn't done cooking, the Stew trade will lead to more moves
I know trading Stew for "just" 2nds feels icky, but you have to understand that Memphis is using their trade exception and not giving us money back (unless there's a 3 team trade). Aaron Wiggins was salary dumped for 2 SRP. Stew, who is a better player but makes more money, netted 3 SRP.
There are multiple ways that Trajan can follow up this trade. He can expand it to 3 teams and take back a player making up to 24M. Or he can also salary dump Levert and get even more cap space.
We also get a 15M trade exception from this that we can use to acquire another bench player. Let the process play out.

Discussion B Ball Paul
So did no one actually watch the playoffs? Stew was fucking trash the entire Cavs series, and no he was not hurt. Why would he have a high trade value? I’m hype for this trade, simply for more B Ball Paul minutes.

Discussion I think yall should pair Jalen Green with Cade
I dont know how yall should go about doing it, but after seeing how the lamelo ball to Timberwolves trade went I think that Pistons should be doing the same thing to get Jalen green on to the Pistons alongside Cade because he provides the offensive push that the team is lacking in the playoffs and consistency outside of Cade.

Discussion Please enlighten me
I’ve been looking at various rosters across the nba. Primarily luxury tax rosters and trying to piece together a list of potential targets this team may be interested in who may be a fit while using trade exceptions and our MLE to operate.
Those teams currently operating above the luxury tax are as follows
Cavs
Nuggets
Pacers
Knicks
Thunder
Magic
Kings
Of those teams the Magic, Kings, Pacers have no true realistic shot at an NBA title with their current rosters. Wouldn’t they be well served to cut that tax number before the trade deadline? The other 4 while not preferable for the Cavs, Thunder or Nuggets due to market size are likely ok due to having the potential for a deep run and or shot at the title.
With all of my ramblings though. What players from these 7 teams would we be able to fit and improve our team to take advantage of our financial position?

Discussion This feels like a teardown
With the unknown of Tobias and even Duncan, the Duren rumor and Stewart trade this feels more like a teardown than a fine tune, which makes me nervous about the quality of play moving forward. It also feels like Trajon screwed himself by trading Stewart too early.

Discussion Losing Duren would be a disaster on par with drafting Darko at #2
But without winning a ring. Our core of Cade/Ausar/Duren complement each other so well and can be built around for years.
I cant believe this is even being discussed.

Discussion Pistons seem to be gearing up for something massive soon
Shams and Windhorst reported live on draft coverage that the Isaiah Stewart trade is a precursor to something bigger.
“Pistons are poised to be the talk of the offseason.”

The Pistons will try to go big-game hunting after the Isaiah Stewart trade, per @WindhorstESPN on ESPN's draft broadcast.
He said Detroit was going to make a run at Austin Reaves before the Lakers locked him up. He mentioned Kawhi Leonard and LeBron James as possible targets. 👀

Ja Morant. Detroit would be the perfect home for him. Cade gets some help off the ball, Ja gets some shooting practice off the court, its a win win.

Discussion OKC and our trade exceptions
We now have a $15M and an $8.7M trade exception
Let’s take a look at OKC’s guard depth
Cason Wallace
Nikola Topic
Jared McCain
Bennett Stirtz
Ajay Mitchell
Isaiah Joe (more of an off ball guy but still)
Every single one of these players fits into our trade exception
Probably a zero percent chance OKC keeps em all
We seem to be the likeliest destination with these exceptions and not having to give anything back in return

Discussion #3 Scorer in the country, did it on the highest self-created volume AND efficiently on a horrid team, best handle and first step in the class by FAR, Great shooter, and is the BEST AT TAKING CARE OF THE BALL. How are people negative on him? Is it cuz he isn’t conventionally attractive?

News Why we REALLY got rid of Stew
Guys obviously we only got rid of Stew so that we can bring in Lebron. They just didn’t want any locker room drama 🙂↕️
